      However you are wrong with your assessment Turks in Germany had integration problem for some years but now they are exemplary immigrants their 3rd generation speaks perfect German and they work harder compared to other minorities in Germany. At least they are not guys in their twenties who escaped from war in their own countries coming here and causing criminal acts.

      I agree, I'm turkish from London. Its very disrespectful to not integrate and learn your new homelands culture and language. This is unacceptable anywhere. But you see the lack of integration with multiple cultures from around the world because the older generation usually move in with friends/family in similar neighbourhoods and because they are too old to fully grasp a new language. They do the easy thing, which is to stay in they're ethnic bubble and don't make attempts to mingle with the natives. I think the government has a major role to play in this integration, if you look at USA and Brazil, it is very multicultural however they created a culture which makes everybody an AMERICAN or BRAZILIAN. Also the media doesn't help with negative stories about the lack of integration. If there was more incentives to mix people up and create an image of "one" GERMANS, it would improve.

I can't imagine a normal immigrant guy (aka almost all of them) getting any attention from mainstream media, because, you know, they're just normal people.

      You should only refer to information you obtained first hand. Truth is Germany has one of the lowest rates of right-wing extremists in the world, even though we invented the Nazis ;) . One thing Germany has to deal with is a large group of imigrants who are unwilling or unable to integrate themselves into our society, combined with a heavily declining fertility rate amongst the German population. Nevertheless we are proud of our multi ethnic community and welcome everbody to join us, what perturbs people are imigrants who do not make an effort to become part of said community, yet still live here.

    My point is that it should not be an issue having different nationalities living together on one spot in this world, it should not matter from where someone is... we should overcome our fears and prejudice and just see that these are not real problems. Arrogance mixed with surpressed anger and hate is very dangerous, lets remember how World War II...

Germans are not very friendly towards Muslims, also most Muslims lack the knowledge of German language and it is harder to learn it than for example English. I would suggest Muslims to go to North America, which is very nice place for work and study. Language is not a problem in US&Canada, there are lots of jobs, also anti-Muslim hysteria is almost non-existent in there

    Islam is not to be blam its the person who is doing shit on the name of islam. Its just like book which tells you aspects of life in different ways. A man can be dangrous after playing sick fighting video games or start using drugs coz xyz is doing same who is blameable xyz or who strt using this. I am in U.K and free to do what is good for me nd harm less for any one. i prectice islam in my own way more freely then my home country. I dont have beard but pray. I have friends from othere religion and we dont have any type of arguments that why i am muslim or why they did this. We already have our own things to think and flourish ourselves then to think or talk about those who are doing some thing which is not related to us.
    I am a free to go in clubs smoking chilling with hoes going to masjid. Am i bad person? If you think okay its your thinking and i dont have a single second to listen some thing from you about how i am coz its me who decide who i am and what i need to do and its up to me to take any book of islam Christianity, Jewish or any other from library and start reading.
    So think this world is like a library and you are free to read but stay quite and dont distrub.
    I wish you chose a book which is good for you and will not distrub others.

    I don't see why we should not prefer a well-balanced relationship between immigrants and their target countries. Today only the immigrants have their choice. They are free to decide where they want to go, and they pick a country. I think it is not OK that the target countries do not have the freedom of choice to decide whom they want to live with. Of course, race or skin colour may not be a reason to exclude anyone, but a personal interview is absolutely OK. Then it can be found out whether the would-be immigrant speaks the local language or not, if he is ready and willing to integrate or not, if he believes his parental culture and nation superior to the culture of his target country or not etc. Why should EU countries remain deprived of the freedom of choice concerning immigrants? Considering especially the fact that automatisation is spreading like wildfire in all industries, so much fewer workers will be needed in 10-20 years' time...

    As far as I can tell after only few sentences, and much non-perfect in English myself, your written English is at least different to that of other Americans and probably it sounds strange accent to them or is not used decently enough for academic purpose. You should either make it more even or learn to deal with the handicap. That's life. No matter there you from, learning decent English is not really difficult when you really use it on a daily basis, read the NYT two hours every day.

    Integration of migrants continues to be a problem across major cities in Europe, the situation is similar in the UK where some asian ethnic groups live in segregated communities (mainly Pakistani, Somali and Bangladeshi), but it is only through equal employment opportunities for all and fair education can these issues be resolved. The Indian community in the UK is well integrated within British society, first arriving in 1950s they are in all the top levels of politics, science, medicine, media and business.

    • @sidraines
      @sidraines 8 років тому

      Not everyone in the Indian community is intergrated. Of course. But im making the point that its taken subequent generations 50 years+ since they first arrived to become better intergrated. All it takes is time, education and equal opportunity which countries like Britain and the US have provided. The first indians that arrived in England worked manual labour in historic english textile mills or industrial factories. Now their grand kids are doctors, politicians, bankers and entrepreneurs. The CEO of Google today is of Indian Origin for example.

    • @sidraines
      @sidraines 8 років тому

      You've lost me. Give me some hard facts before you make such sweeping statements. Google, Microsoft, Diageo, Adobe, Mastercard, Pepsico, Reckitt Benkiser, I've just named a few but all these global giants have Indian CEOs and not because someone has given them an envelope stuffed with cash. They are globally listed companies on the stock market with strict regulations and auditing practices. These companies are the face of capitalism.

    • @sidraines
      @sidraines 8 років тому

      Ok but then the deeper issue of "pro american capitalism" you're pointing out isn't down to the fault of foreign new generation migrants is it?? Which makes me question the relevancy of your arguement given the context of my original statement about intergration? What are you trying to say exactly? The world may be a corrupt place but people are progessing whilst others fall back. Thats the nature of western capitalism. Not the fault of migrants but politicians and rich industrialists who pay these puppets to serve them. The white man invented it and the non-whites mastered it.

      I am fine with immigrants of any place from earth, as long as they are willing to actually integrate into their host's society and respect the values and rules of the country. how things stand however, the trouble-makers in germany and whole europe are as good as allways turks or other muslims. that is because they come from the regeions in which the islam is the main religion, or they are born into families who live in their own world inside their host country. in germany we have no problem with russian or vietnamese ghettos, nor italian, french or english ones... it's allways turks and other muslims, who act as if they can do what ever they like, live by their own rules which they know from home and fully ignore the values and laws in some cases even of germany!

      Non-ethnic Europeans encounter resistance from german people. They won't accept you into their culture. So rather than integrate into a culture that hated him, they searched for a bubble to live in.

    it won't not unless quatar, UAE, and Bahrain opens it borders to their immigrants. The E.U cause all this mess. Its nice to live in nice countries but if your countries have opportunitys then your countries would attract immigrants. YOu can't stop Europe immigrant problem not unless Japan, Mexico, China, Brazil gets their act right and start attracting their own immigrants. Japan is already devoloped but this countries need immigrants.

    Nativism is part of the nation state anachronism. So don't think is only in Germany, only the destruction of the notion of the nation state and creation of free world with just world government will nativism become what really is not reflective of reality. We are all human born with the same biology with the same aspirations.

      ***** my grandfather spoke Turkish perfectly and my father too. but not as good as my grandfather. but the third generation barely can say one sentence in Turkish. and we are very familiar with Arabic traditions and costumes. I remember couple of years ago we went to turkey to meet our relatives but it was the most awkward situation that ever happened to me, I couldn't communicate with them which really was very sad, because we are relatives and we cant understand each other. I felt I didn't belong there anymore :(
