A bit thankful that Mitsubishi removed the rear fog light because many Filipinos sadly don't know how to properly use it. It's supposed to be a safety feature, but if used wrong, it becomes a hazard.
Hi I'm Indonesian and I really like your review, it's really fun, eazy to understand and informative, even i decided to buy Xpander Cross after watching your video about xpcross vs xl7 🥰
How Mitsubishi managed to mess the Mirage up and increase its price, yet continue to one-up the competition with the best MPV in the market, is beyond me
My god autodeal is just freaking genius with reviews. There are so many reviewers here but only few can actually capture a casual car user like me. Like Caco really made me research more about other cars lol
Already like the Expander since the release, this new look is perfect as I fancy the even more angled aesthetics, specially that interior. I'd go for a manual, don't want that electronic hand brake, better to keep it simple as possible.
You forget to mention the center arm rest. Mitsubishi is amazing to include that on the new Gen xpander compare to old ones that does not have a center arm rest. Small detail but it is Good to have on your car.
pero i sat on a friend's xpander kagabi and i was impressed w the space. nowadays we dont really need much speed anymore. traffic with the city, if ever maluwag may mga tricycles and now bikes and those personal ebikes scattered around the road. pag dating naman ng hway 100, 120 medyo mabilis na ang takbo mo e. driving speeds sa nlex and slex is about 80ish to 90. get to 100, and youre faster than everyone na agad.
Impressive car review. I am watching the review from Dubai and it made me go to the showroom to check it. I am thinking of replacing my 6 year old 5.6L 4x4 car with this due to exorbitant fuel prices even in this part of the world where fuel prices is normally low.
Tbh, I think its better that we got the 4 gears rather than cvt. Cvt is good for economical cars but not suvs that might need to carry 7 people or a heavy load. Cvt also more expensive if it breaks
Finally, Caco's take on the new Xpander! Other addition is the arm rest, while the 12 volt socket at the rear has been present all along in the previous generation... Looking forward to the full review!
this is Mitsubishi's card against Geely's lineup. I'm loving the transition, the rest will surely follow, eliminating the old-fashioned curvy dashboard.
Comparo: new Avanza vs new Xpander (vs new BRV once it is released in the Phils., perhaps?) In a previous comparo of older models, Sir Caco chose the Xpander over the Rush and BRV.
From Thailand here... the facelift/minorchange version will be unveil here in a few days. thanks for your clip so I can compare some difference. I think Thai version would get CVT, but not 225mm ground clearance, not LED main headlamp. Not sure about front parking light/DRL - nothing mentioned in Thai version about DRL. it seems like the A/C panel in Thai & Ph version are the same, which is differ from Indonesian version.>>>> Really don't understand why Mitsubishi have to make it so many varient...
Of all the new Car to be Launched in the Market, New Mitsubishi Expander is the most awaited Car Value for money. No doubt it's the Best selling MPV in the Philippines.
What I don’t understand about this vehicle is that inspite of its “longer and larger size” compared to the previous generation, the legroom, cargo and inside dimension has not changed as what Caco said…
It's only cosmetics exterior. They had to elongate the bumper to house new headlights, same thing in the back they change the back door shape with longer bumper.
Whats the difference between the Xpander and Xpander Cross, why does the notches for the AC etc. for the Xpander Cross 2022 are still knobs/dials instead of like in this model.
Ang ganda sobra!!! Edit: Gold review as always Sir Caco, btw pag may upcoming in depth review pa nito sir itesting niyo din po lagi yung third row seat kahit face lift lang siya kasi as a viewer gusto ko lang din mag ka idea how spacious yung third row niya
My mom and I are actually debating between Toyota Rush, Mitsubishi Xpander Cross, and this one. Our main factor of picking out would be the height. My dad somehow doesn't like all 3 because apparently they are on the lower side, and prefers to buy a pickup. But basing on our everyday needs, I think the 3 of these would function very well. So which one would be better? Thank you!
For me if you don’t mind a manual a hilux E would be best if you don’t need the rear seats. Diesel, fuel efficient then just put mods. If not get a strada matic. I’d choose a pick up all day compared to these if the 3rd row is not needed. Pick up because diesel, reliability and resell
hindi po ba masyadong mataas, pangarap ko hehehehe naka-sub-compact M/T po ako for almost 7 years na. Ngayon naman e, gusto ko na ng Xpander A/T dahil akma ito as family car. Stroller palang ng baby namin, ang sikip na, then may bitbit pa na baby bag, toys, etc. na hindi pwedeng mawala every time we go out malayo o malapit na biyahe hehehe. I believe Xpander will resolve my concern. Salamat penge po sticker.
That's what I'm saying. For this engine size which is on the smaller side, they should have give the consumer a stick shift option for the higher trims.
Comparo- Xpander 2022 vs current Xpander Cross please. Still deciding whether to wait for this or just get the current Xpander cross. Not sure when or if they will be releasing the "facelifted" Xpander cross here..
Unfortunately I doubt they will. The adventure rides on an outdated platform that supports an outdated engine lineup that is only Euro-2 compliant. This is the spiritual successor to the Adventure for now.
I know this is going to be a mall crawler for some people but I wish they could have added a bit power to it. Although, Mitsubishi has been consistent with the look. The vehicle looks real nice and aggressive.
A bit thankful that Mitsubishi removed the rear fog light because many Filipinos sadly don't know how to properly use it. It's supposed to be a safety feature, but if used wrong, it becomes a hazard.

I am proud to say that I am an owner of this new Mitsubishi Xpander! I got the GLX variant though.
this is what i like about kako, his sense of humor while explaining it detailed

is it just me or caco's voice suddenly got deeper
as always your car reviews are amazing

yea, right. possibly post production by adding more bass to his voice. But I miss his tiny, screeching voice though.
Weather probably. Wait till summer comes and you'll see Caco back to his old springy self.

I just bought... Beautiful car... Very comfortable... Mileage is superb...
love that loss of focus transition from the 2nd row seats to the driver's seat
Already like the Expander since the release, this new look is perfect as I fancy the even more angled aesthetics, specially that interior. I'd go for a manual, don't want that electronic hand brake, better to keep it simple as possible.
The editing and review keeps on getting better! I love it!
You forget to mention the center arm rest. Mitsubishi is amazing to include that on the new Gen xpander compare to old ones that does not have a center arm rest. Small detail but it is Good to have on your car.
I think the arm rest is only for the top of the line variant and cruise control is no longer standard in all variant
I just observed that Caco got lots of Onitsuka shoes! Different shoe on every review 😂
Hahaha true notice it too..😍
Certified tito na si Caco haha
Asics Tiger!
It's the official established family man shoes, matched with khaki shorts and a polo shirt
The ultimate well off tito shoe 😂

And mitsubishi uses a JATCO CVT which has a bad history in US. Hopefully fixed na yun previous issues nila here sa south east asia.
Totally agree, Mitsubishi knows Filipinos very well. Either gagawin yan na kargahan or sakay buong angkan. Sobrang mababanat yung steel belt. 😂😂
Dumudulas nga cvt sa mirage eh although kulang na 4 speed.

Old Fashion Curvey dashboard? This Current Caco's review is a reminiscence of the Mitsubishi Box type dashboard.
Sir Caco Good day, which one would you recommend? The 2022 Avanza G or the 2023 Mitsubishi Xpander GLS?
Interesting, do Mitsubishi Xpander have other fitures like 365 rear cameras, automatic brakes and the sensors..
Way much better than avanza!!!
Tried both on grab service in oneday and I can say xpander is better car!!!
So many elements on the front end making it too busy on the eyes. I still like the approach of Mazda simple yet elegant.
Yung sa pinakataas na ilaw magiging drl na lang, expander talaga
Can't beat Mazda's Kodo design language
yes ang pangit parang laruan ang hitsura malayung mas maganda ertiga at LX7
tsaka yung frnder sa harap dapat rounded hindi patulis ang pangit tuloy hitsura parang laruan
I agree. this could be the new face of Mitsubishi autos for the coming years! Great vid as always. Thanks!
I still prefer the AT over the cvt.
Can we please have an updated "fuel efficient" list please!

I test drove the GLS recently and I’m very happy with NVH and the cold aircon.

I would like to suggest to Mitsubishi Philippines to bring the CVT Xpander to the Ph Market.

Can you do a review for 2022 Toyota Avanza G?
