The Mitsubishi Expander will shake the Market once again. The Best Compact MPV 7Seater in Town. Way better than the Toyota Rush, even the allnew Avanza, BRV and the Suzuki XL7.
I own a Corolla Altis, 2020 Suzuki XL7 and 2023 Mitsubishi Xpander. Here are my thoughts about the Xpander and XL7 for those who would like know: Handling : Xpander has better handling especially around the corners maybe because of the bigger and wider tires. almost no body roll. both have very light steering wheel and short turning radius. XL7 also is very sensitive to crosswinds, you can really feel it when driving on skyway or windy highways NVH: XL7 has better NVH for me and less vibrations especially if you hold the shift knob when you rev the engine. However, xpander has a quieter engine when you rev it but when you rev the XL7, it really sounds like a sports car haha! but both XL7 and Xpander pales in comparison with the NVH of the corolla altis. When both are travelling at 100km/hour, XL7 has better NVH. You can really hear the wind noise in the side mirrors of the xpander at these speeds while the XL7 has none. Aircon: XL7 takes the cake on this one. it is colder than the Xpander and it has auto climate controls. It also cools your drinks Headlights: XL7 also takes this one, although I installed the same 3M tint, the XL7 clearly has a better LED lighting at night especially during the rainy days. In addition, the XL7 has a leveling adjuster so you can control the headlights Comfort: Xpander has better driving comfort for the driver (especiall for long drives) because of the tilt and telescopic steering wheel and that enormous arm rest. I always feel numb legs after 2 hours of driving in the XL7 (I'm 5'8 by the way). Both are comfortable enough but when you are alone and travelling in EDSA, both are bouncy at the back because maybe of the stiff rear suspension which is understandable. cannot compare both with the comfort of a corolla altis Space: Xpander is wider and you can feel it inside but in terms of the 3rd row legroom, the XL7 is better Fuel Economy: Almost both are the same in my experience for mixed driving City and highways. If there is a difference, for me its very minimal. Safety: both have just 2 airbags, but the XL7 have side impact door beams. Interior: No question on this one, its the xpander but be careful as the piano black plastics scratches easily. mine already has scratches while the XL7 has none yet Features: I just wish the Xpander has outside temperature sensor as that of the XL7. In addition, the xpander cannot detect which door is open and you have to check each door which is open, while the XL7 can detect which door is open
hindi po ba masyadong mataas, pangarap ko hehehehe naka-sub-compact M/T po ako for almost 7 years na. Ngayon naman e, gusto ko na ng Xpander A/T dahil akma ito as family car. Stroller palang ng baby namin, ang sikip na, then may bitbit pa na baby bag, toys, etc. na hindi pwedeng mawala every time we go out malayo o malapit na biyahe hehehe. I believe Xpander will resolve my concern. Salamat penge po sticker.
Thanks for sharing this upload, appreciate your insights throughout the video hope that Mitsubishi had added some driver assist features but nevertheless nice improvements made by Mitsubishi, kudos guys 👍

yes every critique is in unison that this is definitely a premium in both quality and driving dynamics. Worth every centavo.

Xpander pa din..

Glad it was helpful!

How many kilometers per liter of A/t and m/t
Please send your latest price for this expander
anong mga available colors po meron ang new xpander? may graphite gray po ba? thnx for ur reply 😊
Yes it is! It is available in Graphite Gray, Jet Black Mica, Red Metallic, Quartz White and Silver Metallic.
whats the difference between gls & glx
Great review, but I stopped imagining a cvt with 7 persons inside in steep slope road. Just my thoughts though.
That's a real concern :-) maybe a fully loaded Baguio roadtrip will answer that question!
Gls or cross?
is this the expander 2022 gls?
Do you have a release date for this new xpander?
May
@@Liriqos 1st week?
Great detailed review. Host is good too and love those J's 🔥 however the background music I think is unnecessary (or just a bit too loud imo)
Sir Roy, the new TOTL Avanza has 6 airbags. The Xpander TOTL only has 2 ☹️
Thanks for sharing this upload, appreciate your insights throughout the video hope that Mitsubishi had added some driver assist features but nevertheless nice improvements made by Mitsubishi, kudos guys 👍
Thanks for watching!
Isn't it a 2023 model?
Looks great
except for the minimal changes of looks and size, dont see any difference from the previous. The price maybe.. 😂
I would be ok to buy the automatic version for 1m pesos. 😬
Great detailing about the new upgrades sir. May I ask, all variants of the Xpander 2022 has Android Auto and Apple Carplay, and Waze right?
Yes, GLX MT onwards all get smartphone compatibility!
They know the upcoming Avanza is coming
Nice..baka sa xp cross ilagay cvt..
Mas luminis yung design. Ganun din ginawa ng Honda sa upcoming BR-V.
Mercedes use 4speed automatic
Lack of features & 4 speed automatic for a 7 seater...Nah...not much upgrade. This won't sell much.
Nah. Based on your other comments, youre just another toxic hater.
comment from somebody who don't know CVT and what the heck is he talking about.
Yes the new avanza gaps this car no wonder why other countries prefer Korean cars than Mitsubishi nowadays
@@TheGOAT-fx9wx that's just straight cap.
Considering this sana kaso the 4 speed automatic is a turnoff for such a big body. Pang sedan yun.
front fascia is now much better, hated the old one
Mitsubishi is just soooo desperate to topple Toyota
it’s quite the other way around (in terms of mpv sales).
