The Traxxas TRX-4 is the best RC I've ever driven! :-) I bought one right when they hit the danish market. Mine is a grey Defender as well. I've swapped the wheels and tires for some no-name cheap (but awesome) aluminum beadlock rims and Proline Hyrax tires, mounted a functional winch on the front, decorated it with various small scale details like shovels/chains/pallet with bags on the roof etc. I also mounted a light kit :-) I think I'm going to add a TRX-4 Bronco to my RC collection as well at some point. Love the old Ford trucks and cars ;-)
LoL - keep it out of the cabbage’ - love it! Amesie, this is only the second post I’ve viewed of yours, yet this entire vid confirms my remarks left on the first post I viewed; the 78/79/80/81(!) Firebird Formula review. You are such a lovely guy! I don’t know about ‘eight days a week’ but I’ll love you to share how we can all live 48 hours days as you seem to do... FYI, in ‘76 I spent 6 months as an undergrad engineer working in the MBenz Gaggenau plant that manufactured Unimog from scratch. Seeing those portal axles in the flesh is what most impressed me (and the frame flex!). It was most impressive seeing the portal cases being machined and then being welded to the axle tubes. Early examples weren’t without their problems as evidenced by what came into the Service Dept, but MB were pretty good at modifying to enable fitting latest upgrades to those portal gearboxes. BTW, I did happen to see the vid of the ‘Saabs in the Woods’ some time ago & sorry I didn’t Sub then. I was so very sorry to see you so badly affected when I was catching up on some of your other vids after the Formula post. Big, big respect ✊ and support to you for dealing with such a shitty response from the other party in such a dignified way.
Cool video! Did she collect insurance for these? They may be only 3/4 of a mile away because that's where she put them! Just saying, not knowing. Encountered a very nicely preserved/restored Sonnet the other day. I wouldn't have known what it was except for your videos. Thanks, excellent camera work and dialog!

Paul, you got me interested in trail trucking. I own 2 now! What batteries do you like to run?
:)
No wonder your arms were burning.
How many batteries did it take to get out to the kayaks?
Usually one would have been enough but I had run the truck earlier that day.
