I wonder if in the nightmare mode that weapons scale more in it, also they’re so vague with the story DLC, isn’t it just Bloody Ties? That’s not new, I’m hoping it’s something more but it could be involving side quests like Tolga and Fatin
Nightmare mode and vnc tower raid both got post posed again, I'm not surprised and yes the dlc is bloody ties that I don't even count bc it was horrible

Honestly one thing I wish for in dying light 2 is to add something that makes gliding actually like dangerous or something in that big city instead of an easy ticket to get out of situations

The new edition is free my friend
This is not like real new edition. It's like the Enhancements update for DL1 and the new subtitle "Enhanced Edition". Just replace the Enhancements with Firearms, and replace Enhanced Edition with Reloaded Edition. This time, they also made the horrendous DLC named Bloody Ties free though. So the base edition of DL2SH is almost like the deluxe one, but with no some deluxe bonuses.
I'm waiting only for one change in game. Coop progression like in DL 1. Not only for host but for everyone in my lobby. Just that

Can someone explain why they didn't add guns in the first place? If they were that lazy that they couldn't even include guns in the first place, why should we now give them a second chance? Paying a full $60 for an unfinished product without guns in a game genre that has guns...
Agreed, I mean I enjoy the game without them, but I was surprised it took them this long to add them. I’m glad we have them now though
the original concept for the game was to make it more intense and difficult for the players if it were melee-focused. they were following a lot of input and suggestions from fans of the first game, some of the criticism (which I agree with) was that once you got guns it immediately made melee combat obsolete as you could power through anything assuming you had enough ammo. People complained that Guns made the game too easy and that their decision to make the enemies bullet sponges at higher difficulties was not the answer. SO they decided that a solution to the problem was just avoid guns altogether, have them written out of the story, if people want to fight at a range they still have the bow and crossbows as options and you can still craft makeshift blunderbuss.
However, people immediately complained that game is hard without guns. the same people who complained that the DL1 grapple hook was too easy of an escape tool once fully upgraded, also complained that DL2 grapple wasn't as cheap of a game mechanic to just zip them out of danger.
ultimately due to the first game's loyal fan base, techland took so much of their input when making DL2 that in the end they produced a product that was subpar. they compromised on their original vision of a heavy choice-based story narrative. proving that people don't actually know what they want.
for example people also complained that this game is too easy at the hardest difficulty (while their gameplay is literally them using the most broken armor and huffing boosters like a junkie) want to make the game hard? stop boosting! but no, they couldn't stop themselves and kept complaining, so Techland nerfed the boosters and the bastards actually started complaining that the game was hard.
7 days to die and the Dying Light series are the greatest zombie games ever made!

That's like saying the following and bozak and all the other shit they added over 7 plus years to dying light 1 should've been there at launch. And it was already confirmed they don't plan to do anything with Elysium.

lol I’m soft locked in act 1 trying all methods to no avail Im running legion mod for my game but even still in the vanilla before installing the mod I had the same issue can someone tell me more work around cuz doing the online method and reset game methods are not working
