Of course, nothing can really replace Rudd on drums in AC/DC, but I do have a soft spot for Chris Slade. While Rudd has that cool, bored, idgaf-attitude. Slade looks like he's having the best day of his life, every day. And there's just something lovely about seeing someone that's just having a great time.
I love him, i would like to have that consistency while playing. Indeed his basslines are "simple" but keeping that is the hard part is amazing. i really respecto him.

I think that Brian Johnson doesn’t get the credit he deserves. He was the greatest thing at the time to happen to AC DC since the demise of Bon Scott. His voice is the perfect fit for the band. They couldn’t have done better. His music speaks for its self.

I totally agree. Especially with the Live at Donington concert which I think they were at their best. With Brain Jonson's voice being able to be get so high and and raw and I also prefer Chris Slade's drum sound over the other drummers from later and before.

@luca prodan same. Undisputed #1 at the top of my favorite band list. I honestly think they’ve had arguably the best players at several instruments and 2 of the best singers as well. They’re the GOAT of rock in my opinion. Future generations will likely attempt to duplicate this and tons of other ACDC songs when they run out of ideas, as many modern musicians have attempted to duplicate exceptional works of art by the original artists and they almost always butcher it. People try it all the time bcuz they can’t come up with their own ideas for songs. I’ve only seen 1 musician/band improve on performance of a song they purchased the rights to sing and do it better than the original artist. That was Through The Grapevine (or whatever the exact title is) by Marvin Gaye. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought the CCR version blew Marvin Gaye’s version out of the water, and that’s saying a lot bcuz the Marvin Gaye version was already incredible.

Im 22 years old kid from Brazil, and maybe im the last generation here to know this incredible band called ACDC. The kid younger than me dont know anything about Rock n Roll music, they listen to BTS, the korean boys. 😭 This is very sad, but i will keep the rock alive with me, in the rest of my life. Thank a lot to the friend that show me this band in 2000s. AC/DC will live forever.

@luca prodan same. Undisputed #1 at the top of my favorite band list. I honestly think they’ve had arguably the best players at several instruments and 2 of the best singers as well. They’re the GOAT of rock in my opinion. Future generations will likely attempt to duplicate this and tons of other ACDC songs when they run out of ideas, as many modern musicians have attempted to duplicate exceptional works of art by the original artists and they almost always butcher it. People try it all the time bcuz they can’t come up with their own ideas for songs. I’ve only seen 1 musician/band improve on performance of a song they purchased the rights to sing and do it better than the original artist. That was Through The Grapevine (or whatever the exact title is) by Marvin Gaye. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought the CCR version blew Marvin Gaye’s version out of the water, and that’s saying a lot bcuz the Marvin Gaye version was already incredible.

I was a bit taken aback when this drummer played a fill. That’s not what I listen to AC/DC for.
Chris is like a drum machine. Phil is far better suited to the ACDC sound.

Bon hella lyric great song the live version with is a great performance Brian kicked ass so did Angus rock and roll at it best no body ever played live music for real rock and rollers
Im 22 years old kid from Brazil, and maybe im the last generation here to know this incredible band called ACDC. The kid younger than me dont know anything about Rock n Roll music, they listen to BTS, the korean boys. 😭 This is very sad, but i will keep the rock alive with me, in the rest of my life. Thank a lot to the friend that show me this band in 2000s. AC/DC will live forever.
