    I picked this up for work. My last one was smaller ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxtD9aJ2m6GU-X1IChQxjn9l31K1A7Kpwj and cuter but the motor burned out within a few months. This one's footprint is a tad bigger but it still doesn't eat up a lot of desk space. Its size and shape blends into the background nicely. This has a good size water container so I don't need to refill more than once a week. I use filtered (not distilled) water because cleaning up after our hard water is tough at work. I like that this has several settings. It's also very quiet. (I have a silence naxi in the next cubicle.) It also hasn't left that terrible while powder, so far, that some humidifiers leave. Been using this for a month or so now and am very happy with my purchase.

    I'm now on my second one in a matter of 6 months. It's doing the same thing as the first one. Occasionally, the per dies one it, the little blue light under the plug on the unit goes out. Unplugging it from the unit does nothing. I actually have to unplug the adapter from the wall to "reset" it. Not too happy for what a person pays for these

    Is it a warm mist humidifier or cool mist one? That's all I really needed to know..

    • @SARTORONTO
      @SARTORONTO 5 років тому

      It's cool. You can only use cold water in it and it comes out cool.

    Upon removing the tank, I have water in side the central where the light is. Is there supposed to be water there??

    • @robbieshaft
      @robbieshaft 3 роки тому

      Yes, there will always be water there as it goes through there before it comes out of the machine

    Sorry in advance if this is a repetitive question, but does the fan turn on while the humidifier is going? Do they work together, or only one at a time? I need a humidifier that can also replace my regular fan. Thank you for answering!

    Great review, any issue with grey dust?

    • @ShellyWutke604
      @ShellyWutke604 6 років тому

      I didn't have any issues with grey dust. I had it on in the same room and I didn't notice any residue on the table below it.

    • @SARTORONTO
      @SARTORONTO 5 років тому

      I don't see "grey dust" anywhere. I believe it all depends on your water and I use tap water.

  • @heynedajoon

    do you used distilled water or regular water?

    • @ShellyWutke604
      @ShellyWutke604 7 років тому +1

      I used water from my water cooler. I imagine if you use water from your tap it could build up on the sides of the reservoir and leave a scale.

    • @SARTORONTO
      @SARTORONTO 5 років тому

      You can use tap water.

      I’m guessing the humidity level in your area/house is already high, it has sensors on board that check humidity levels

    the arduous task of weekly cleaning the Dyson humidifier has conveniently been left out. Pain in the butt !

    • @SARTORONTO
      @SARTORONTO 5 років тому

      The mist will smell musky if water is left sitting in the tank when not in use for a day. It's inconvenient but easy to clean. Also, the water in the tank does not last 18 hours in my room when it is very dry.

    Is it true you can only use distilled water?

      linop412 yes

    • @DaCake2
      @DaCake2 4 роки тому

      @@kimjongun5879 Is there any humidifier that you dont need to do that? I would think if you are using it everyday, you would need to store a lot of water? Sounds like a pain.

    • @kimjongun5879
      @kimjongun5879 4 роки тому

      linop412 almost all humidifier need distilled water if not there will be Mineral deposit in the water tank

    • @DaCake2
      @DaCake2 4 роки тому

      Ryan Tay After a ton of research I found that technically you can use tap water, but if the water is hard, it can leave white residue (mineral deposit) inside, but it’s easy to clean and not harmful unless you have asthma or another lung condition. I have one and always used tap water with no problems. That’s why I was curious, but I figured maybe it was cause mine is a smaller unit?
