My god your right, he escaped the box but we never saw him return.
And as we saw he can hide in enclosed spaces like the box because he distorts them, so he could literally hide anywhere like under the bed but because it's distorted you wouldn't see him

The thumbnail is pretty damn close. That's my favorite short horror film. Love the part where they're coming at him from up stairs and in the basement. Seeing the hand about to shut the light off? 😱
No, it's not just you. Similar idea, different story and different peeper. This guy was creepy. In "The Other Side of the Box", that guy was downright scary.

That guy reminded me of “the box” short film lol and the poster scared me when he first went into the room
It's pretty good, though as a personal choice, it would have been best if the entity never blinked nor showed the bottom half of its face. That way you remove as much of its humanity as possible while still resembling human. Remember what H.P. Lovecraft said in his essay Super Natural Horror in Literature - "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown". Cheers.
I agree. the entity turning off the lights at the end would have been enough... maybe even afterwards for a few seconds have the eyes reflect light (or glow?) like when the girl first saw it 🔥
but at the same time the blinking when the guy first saw it made me feel like it was eager to get to him 😨

Great job guys! Dude was creepy, but once he teleported to Jake's room he was much more terrifying! Cus now its not just a creepy naked dude its an entity of sorts that looks like a creepy naked dude! Loved it :)

The Mr. Bean poster was an AMAZING use of foreshadowing imo. I’d love to think that at one point it WAS the monster and that you can’t tell because of how dark it was.

I actually saw something like this on Paranormal Caught on Camera on the Travel Channel. There is a face very similar to this one in the exact same position peeking out from the door at the very top of this guy's bedroom!

Had sleep paralysis because of this video, k to her apartment because she think she saw somebody in there we didn’t watch the whole thing, but there was a really scary part where somebody’s like head is peeking around the door. and I had a dream last night not even really a dream, so I was sleeping and I was face down but for some reason I thought I was watching the video when I fell asleep and I could still hear it through my earbud, and I thought the video was playing but I was on the part where the guy was in the apartment and I could just hear something running around and it felt like it was running around my room, so I was trying to get up to turn the video off but I couldn’t move and it didn’t last as long as the last one did but I could just feel like I can’t move I didn’t even think of sleep paralysis and I still thought it was a video the whole time but I just heard like this thing scurrying around my room and stopping right next to my head every so often until I can finally get up and I realized I wasn’t watching the video

Why did no one stop to think that the intruder in the girl's room might have a spare card to get in? They just assume because he's not there now that he won't be able to get back in wtf. Also she went to bed waaay too easily, if I saw a face like that in my room I wouldn't be able to sleep that night no matter where I was. They both treat an intruder going into your room like such a trivial thing so weird.
