    Remember Denken's original plan of the whole group ganging up on replica Frieren? A lot of people would have died from those attacks. 😅

    On September 28th in Japan, it was officially announced that Season 2 is in production. The animation will be done by Madhouse, just like Season 1.

    10:40 Yep, Methode was fighting Fern and evidently held her own. The woman is a beast in combat and "has many skills" as she puts it (including being mana sensitive enough to detect the clone Fern sneaking up on her, note how her eyes glance back when the clone is about to snipe her in an earlier scene).

      @skydrake1833 The 30ish year old mage from a demon hunting clan of mages could only just hold her own against the 18 year old Fern who only uses basic offensive and defensive magic is overestimate? What she gotta do to earn your approval? Create a new Zoltraak adaptation that can pierce the defenses of an unknown Demon on par with the strongest Sage of Destruction that went on to almost defeat Frieren? I betcha you want her to do it before she turns 20 too

    Ok so funny thing about what happened here 9:50
    During the part where Sein was in the party, they encountered a monster using a Curse, and they couldn't detect curses as magic because the spell was too advanced for mages to understand. Curses are magic too, but they're so foreign to other magics that they're not even "visible" in the same way.
    The attack Frieren's mimic just used wasn't detectable by Fern, which means it's very likely it was using a curse.
    This would mean Frieren knows curses.

    Wait... You didn't know what the word "attrition" meant? Contrary to me, you're native English speaking though, no?

    • @CarmenIvette
      @CarmenIvette  2 місяці тому

      Yes and I know it’s CRAZY but I don’t know EVERY English word that exists 😂

    • @AniMageNeBy
      @AniMageNeBy 2 місяці тому +3

      @@CarmenIvette I was just wondering, since it's not all *that* of an exotic word. I'm non-native English speaking, and I knew it right away. So I thought maybe you weren't native English neither, because that would explain it the best.
      It's like... if I would be a native German, that you would know a German word spoken in casual German speech, which I wouldn't recognize at all. That would be quite unbelievable. Should I then think it's your knowledge of German that is so astonishingly good, or mine that is surprisingly weak?
      But hey, one doesn't know what one doesn't know. And at least you researched it, so kudos to you for that. Another word you know, from now on. ;-)

      @CarmenIvette  Місяць тому +1

    • @ryanlarkin9783
      @ryanlarkin9783 Місяць тому

      I'm 40 and a native English speaker and the word has only been used in conversation maybe 5 times in my life and only when talking about something scientific. It's not a common word at all.

    • @AniMageNeBy
      @AniMageNeBy Місяць тому

      @@ryanlarkin9783 Attrition has nothing to do with science, at least not inherently. I think you're mistaken with some other word. Also: reading and hearing it outside a "casual talk" during "conversation" should also suffice.
      And no it is pretty common. Well, depends on your definition of "common", but it's not an exotic word. Take the war of Ukraine and Russia, for instance: every media - including in the West - calls it a "war of attrition". And that's been going on for more than a year. Under what rock must one live to never have encountered this? Do people not watch the news or read about what happens in the world?
      I mean... are you now saying that someone like me - a non-native English speaker that learned only the basics in school, and the rest self-thought - knows more words than a native-English speaker? That's pretty unlikely, unless the standard of those specific native English speakers are *really* low. I mean... try to imagine the reverse. You - as a non-French speaker - tell me a word in French that I don't know about, but you picked up as a matter of course, somehow. Go ahead. I'm curious.
