Using a skull to trigger an arrow trap, truly brilliant, I wonder how nobody figured that out before the genius that is Northernlion enlightened us all to the high level play of Spelunky.
Please don't stop making spelunky videos. I really enjoy watching you improve at the video games you LP. Spelunky is by far my favorite series that you are currently producing. Thanks for the awesome, witty content NL!

When NL seductively introduced himself as Lance Boils the jazzy main theme of Game Dev Tycoon came on. I thought NL edited it in it was that well times.
By the way, a spider, on it's way down from a plane, would string a web out and float down. This is one of the main methods of travel for spiders; they catch drift from the wind and string a web that takes them several miles. I doubt a spider would die if thrown from a plane. Unless, of course, you are to say that it is trapped in a box, as such, and wouldn't have the ability to fly. Then i'd assume death. :)
"Lance Boyle" was actually the name of the announcer in the old racing game Megarace.
FunFact: Spiders and Ants can survive terminal velocity falls - you CAN drop a spider from a plane and it will live.

Dracula Fetus animation starts at 00:32. Northernlion predicted it himself.
Amusingly, Lance Boyle was the name of the host of the cutscenes for an old DOS game called Megarace.
If I remember correctly, spiders are small enough that their terminal velocity is low enough for them to survive a lot of falls. However, the shards from the pot would probably tear it up.
NL is obviously a Canadian. He added so many freaking qualifiers and "Don't mean to offend anyone/call anyone bad names" to that youtube psychology rant.

Northernlion,in relation to the spider out of the plane, I watched an interesting piece on the physics of insects, and you can actually chuck them across rooms and out of buildings and they don't really suffer fatalities because of their masses. Thrilling I know
Nice job as usual NL. Spelunky may not be your strongest game, but it's always nice to see someone's skills evolve each time they play...That, and this shit is hilarious!

So happy to see another Spelunky video! I was worried you had been scared off of the series by your recent run of bad luck. I don't know about the rest of these guys but I am here for amusing commentary and entertaining gameplay, not necessarily top tier Spelunky play. Anyone who is bothered by mistakes to the point that it actually ruffles their feathers should probably take a chill pill. It's still just a game!
Whether you fail or win, your spelunky vids really entertain me 8D

Your Spelunky play is definitely coming along. Making better decisions is a good thing. You dont have to be foxman but he's got some good tactics that come from a LOT of practice and failures. I watch you both and I love this series XD you should update it a little more

The water may be worth ninety nine gobbledygooks but sure as hell not worth one hundred.
I can only imagine Snake Indiana Jones to be something that would just be constantly screaming in front of a mirror forever.

because Isaac is on the pc and intentionally made to be 420, while Spelunky is on the 360 meaning it is 720 and can also be 1080.
Am I the only person who likes that NL doesn't tell you to like and sub at the end of every video?

I would love it if you and Foxman play together again! Those spelunky vids were some of the funniest ones you've ever made, and that's no small feat considering all your videos are funny. I'd totally understand if you didn't though, you might make Kate jealous.

Jesus Christ people. Just enjoy the video, yes he makes mistakes, but jesus christ you are taking it way to seriously. Northernlion is great great for his commentary, rants, tangents and personality.
And lets not forget, this is the man who beat darksouls with less than 5 deaths and Super Meat boy + all dark worlds and Cotton Alley. I have faith in you Northernlion. You are destined for great things, Pull your shit together.

NL, stop being so negative. When I watch an episode of your Spelunky series, I experience 2 things:
-Thoroughly enjoyable and humorous commentary
-Worry that it's going to be the last episode
People love this series, no one cares if you're not as good as foxman. Don't live in his shadow! From now on, I'm favoriting all of your Spelunky videos. NL go to the worm in the jungle you have to throw a damsel on one of the pink things and before the damsel gets up and panics jump on the pink thingy
That's not how it works... maybe for you it was a coincidence but if u break atleast one it fullfills one of the conditions for a goblin army to attack... but not spawn immediately.
