Class #11 - Installing A Shift Drum On A Harley-Davidson Sportster

Class 11 will show you how to swap out the shift drum from a standard drum to a reverse pattern drum by BAKER Drivetrain. Instead of shifting from 1n23456 you'll shift from 65432n1.

Just spoke with Steve at Baker Drivetrain. He said to use blue loctite on detent bolt and torque to 120-135 inch pounds.

Is this shift drum available for a 1996 5 speed Sportster? If so where can I get 1? & what is part number?

I have a smooth shift kit normal pattern and came with a reverse detent plate can I exchange the plate with you?
