    I can not wait for CDPR to release official modding tools for Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. Hopefully we get them this year before player count starts dropping too much. Just imagine story expansions and map expansions for CP2077 similar to some of the amazing quest and world mods we have for Skyrim... That would be the dream and keep CP2077 relevant for many years to come. :)

      I have my doubts about Redkit for CP2077. I would LOVE to see that, but something tells me that we'll probably have to wait halfway towards Orion to get them. Maybe because it took so long for the Witcher 3 version... but YES, PLEASE!!!

    My eyes were screaming at how delicious the game looks in your video. True eye candy. I have an 14900k with 4090 both aio liquid cooled, hopefully it can handle it. Request you to make a collection on Nexus mods if possible. Love their one click install thing. I want YOUR cyberpunk pls

    • @NomadSoulNC
      @NomadSoulNC  8 місяців тому +2

      I have thought about this, also to make a video about how exactly to install everything and set it all up to make the game look exactly like that.
      At the moment my time is very limited and I‘d rather invest it into new videos or virtual photography than supporting all the problem-solving requests that come with such a modpack. Because you see a lot of the mods used are not compatible with 1-click installers or mod managers sadly. And also they in some instances modify the same gamefiles - options.json for example is a particularly often modified file which, if overwritten, deletes the changes made by other mods which breaks those. So you absolutely have to edit some files by hand.
      I could set that all up and make the edits and put everything into a very large zip archive which you would just have to unpack over your installation. But this would be a dozen gigabytes in size and I don‘t know if I‘m allowed to use and redistribute other peoples mods like that.
      We‘ll see, maybe I‘ll do something like it in the future if I have time and am allowed to.

    I wonder what's the power draw of such a system at such high fidelity.

    • @NomadSoulNC
      @NomadSoulNC  8 місяців тому +3

      The CPU and the GPU are the heaviest power consumers in there.
      The I9 sucks up to 360Watt when maxed out which happens rarely in gaming. So I'd say about 200 - 250 Watts from that.
      The GPU however is a beast and uses up to 450Watts when fully utilized.
      The rest of the system should be somewhere around 100Watts which makes a total of 750 - 800 Watts in gaming.
      I didn't measure those numbers, I looked them up and sometimes it's hard to get consistent data on this. Some say the RTX 4090 can use up to 600 Watts which I think is nonsense. I have a 1200 Watts powerbrick in there and it hasn't failed yet.
      But whatever, it uses a lot of power. So if you're one to save money DON'T buy such a system! :-D And in the summer the whole room gets fucking hot when playing for a couple of hours!

Perhaps one where a contagion was released that turned anyone, even with the slightest chrome wear into a cyberpsycho, creating a fun and scary horde mode (or something like this). Also maybe completing where CDPR left off with the Militech building. Maybe even build functional interiors for the Medical facility as well. 🙏

    • @NomadSoulNC
      @NomadSoulNC  5 місяців тому +1

      Even with a 3060 one can make good-looking content! Sometimes a few mods to give just a bit of visual nuance are enough to stand out. Slap a subtle reshade on it and sometimes you can't tell that it's "just" a 3060.
      Will check out your stuff later. Keep up whatever you're doing, the community can only benefit from more chooms!

  • @Azhureus
    @Azhureus 7 місяців тому +1

    You can run this types of mods on RTX 3050 even. It is not that hard if you know how to mod the game. But it looks amazing, good job.

    • @NomadSoulNC
      @NomadSoulNC  7 місяців тому +2

      True but to run them in 4K with that framerate you need a pretty beefy system. My VRAM sometimes goes well beyond 16GB of use so with a 3050 I'd have to make some downgrades. But yes, a 3050 could run this in a specced-down version.
      Obviously if you're willing to play in 1440p or even 1080p the requirements get less and less.

    • @NomadSoulNC
      @NomadSoulNC  7 місяців тому +1

      You have to spawn in the character head via Appearance Menu Mod when going into 3rd person (look into documentation, this is mentioned somewhere). When showing the character I usually use photomode and then activate otis camera tools. In that case there‘s no problem with the head.

      You mean Frans Boumas camera tools? He writes the software that injects additional cameras and options into the game. Without this I wouldn't be able to do those camera shots. So he did in fact create the third-party software.
      It's the same as someone writing a program for Windows. They did not create Windows but the program interacting with it. And asking money for countless hours of programming and bug-fixing is absolutely ok imho.

    • @NomadSoulNC
      @NomadSoulNC  7 місяців тому +4

      @@justyahz796 I'm not quite sure I get your point and I have a feeling that there is a misunderstanding.
      You don't pay me anything in watching these videos.
      You also don't pay anything using the mods that I used in my video and which are listed freely in the Google-document (look into the description, there's a link to it). You can use all those mods for free.
      The only thing that costs money in this whole scenario are the camera tools by Frans Bouma. You do not need those to play the game or to make it look like in my video. You only need them if you want to make videos like the ones I did! They offer a way to have a much more advanced camera-system than what you can have in the vanilla game. This thing allows camera shots like the flying drone-like footage, you can not otherwise do this.
      So for a normal gamer there is no investment involved besides the base-game, just for those people like me that want to make these kinds of videos or level-up their photomode-renders. And I think it's okay for me to pay those few Euros for a software that took the developer probably hundreds if not thousands of hours to develop and perfect to the point that it allows me making clips like these.
