  • Looking for the best M1 MacBook Air Accessories? Some of the accessories I use with my M1 MacBook Air have literally changed the way I’ve been able to use this laptop. The #MacBook Air is one of my favorite laptops to come out in 2020. It’s small, it’s light, it’s powerful, it has a great display, keyboard and trackpad.
But once I saw how powerful the #apple M1 chip is even without the fan you get with the MacBook Pro, I realized it’s an absolute beast and I could get it to do pretty much everything I need. .
Today I’m going to show you my absolute favorite accessories for the #m1MacBookAir, I tested a lot of accessories and I’ll tell you why I chose to use these specific ones. And one of these accessories in a roundabout way made the rest of them free.

What's up everyone?! I hope you liked this list of M1 MacBook Air accessories. What was your favorite item? Do you have anything else that you think I should include in a part 2? Finally, which configuration is right for you?
Would love to know what you think. Is this laptop that you would use and why or why not. If you’re currently using something else, please share your experience with me. I am grateful in advance 🙏

Is there a downside if you use a usb-c to Hdmi cable instead of an adaptor? I want to buy an external monitor for my m1 MacBook Pro and I would like to know if its better to go for an adaptor (type c to hdmi) or for a cable for that specific reason.

Just bought the Samsung T7 for my M1 MacBook Pro and wow, it’s super quick! I only had enough to upgrade one feature on laptop so went for the RAM due to video and photo editing. I thought I could get external storage and I’ve got 1TB for £134 and it’s a bargain! Thank you so much for your help! 👍🏼

Thank you once again for your great video! Your recommendations/suggestions are spot on! I have the M1 MacBook Air, 8CPU, 512SSD. One thing you didn't address was your recommendation for an external back up. Currently I have a Time Machine external back up device. But just as my old, (ancient), MacBook Air from 2013, the Time Machine external backup is more or less the same age, (so it's ancient as well!). Can I continue to use the 2013 - 2014 Time Machine external back up device? Should I get an updated Time Machine external back up or is there another product you would recommend? If so, which one would you recommend? Thanks for the great advice from your videos and from your replies.

Great Job and lots of great info as I consider the 13" MacBook Pro M1. I'm a video editor with 45yr experience and currently have a MacBook Pro mid 2015 with 2 external monitors, this is necessary for me because of multi-cam events with dozens of bins and thousands of clips plus I have old eye balls. I've talked with Apple and discovered that the M1 MacBook Pro supports just 1 external monitor but in your video I see a second external monitor. You mention a Dual Display Interface but I don't see it listed below, or what am I missing? Can you point me to this device, perhaps you have another video to better explain how this works with new M1 MacBook. I was thinking of a huge 48" curved edit monitor, with connections compatible with my older Thunderbolt and USB drives, the type monitor I could divide up the screen and maybe a sidecar iPad for scopes, etc. Thanks for any advice.

I just ordered a Dell 34" Ultrawide that is 3440x1440. I have heard that there are problems with either text being too small at this resolution or having to use less resolution for readability. From what I have seen on your channel and some others I won’t be disappointed with the performance of the 8gb mini unless I am doing heavy work or more than you do which is not likely to happen. I found an 8gb/1TB Mac mini from apple refurbished for $30 more than the 512gb Mac mini and felt it was a decent price. I currently own a 2015 Macbook Air, and I'm seriously considering buying the M1 Macbook Air. I'm concerned about the many issues some people have been having though, and in particular the fact that it it randomly shouts down. Are these issues widespread? Should I hold off a little while longer, or just go for it please?

    Hi
    Great video!
I just receive my MacBook Pro M1.
I use 2 external monitors on the old MacBook Pro via hdmi, now I discover the M1 don’t accept 2 external monitors, only one!!
Any idea how to connect bouth monitors and what kind of duck station or hub allowed?
    Thanks!

I completely agree with your comment about buy it nicer by it twice. I’ve had that happen by trying to skip out using carpet instead of tile on my home and several other things read try to save a few hundred dollars and then unhappy in the end. Anyway thank you for the video it was a great video. I do have a small 100 W charger that has all the same ports but is much smaller than the one you featured. I’ll try and find a link for you and leave it in another comment. It uses Gann technology which is probably why it’s smaller. It’s really well-built and very solid however. I do have a couple of questions. I would love to know what monitor that I can buy to use with a Mac mini that will have the same resolution as the MacBook Pro monitors? In other words I would like to buy a MacBook mini instead of the apples all in one computer but I don’t want to give up the screen resolution and I don’t know what to buy. Thank you

Hello! Do you think a case is necessary to protect the MacBook? I prefer they way it looks without it, but does it scratch easily? I just bought my Mac and I don’t even wanna unbox it cause I don’t have the accessories to protect it. 😁 Thanks!!!

  • @alexisrodriguez7127

I really don’t like those small hubs because they take a thunderbolt port and replace it with usb c. That’s why even though there 4x more expensive I would suggest anyone who is looking for a hub go with one that has a thunderbolt upstream and at least 1 thunderbolt downstream. This will allow you to connect a monitor so you can use it as a desk top. Also look into a stand so your set up is clean when in desk top mode, vertical ones are popular. It also comes with the advantage of having way more ports like display port, hdmi, and loads of usb A. Additionally for ssd i recommend people diy their own ssd since it’s cheaper than getting a high performance ssd.

Been a min since I responded to one of your videos. The new content is very similar to what I will be releasing but you are a pro! Hahaha
I got iPad Pro, M1 Macbook Pro on the way. Just finished an iPhone 12 Pro Max first impression to be released Thursday etc
I may sell my iMac Pro before those new iMacs come out so I can get SOME return in advance before those things come out and CRUSH these older iMac Pro’s. Apple really killed it with these new “base models” lol

Hi, as I'm looking at a hub I'm concerned that the 2 port hub will put excessive physical/mechanical strain on the MacBook ports if the hub itself is connected to many things.. like hdmi and usb cables..
Does the hub sit flash to the table once inserted into the mac or is it hanging from it?
