Hi Charles, if it's a wine from Medoc (Margaux, Pauillac, St-Estephe, Saint-Julien) then yes, if it says Grand Cru Classé then it should be from 1855. Now if it's a different classification like St-Emilion or Graves, then it's not going to be the 1855 classification since those weren't classified in 1855. Hope this helps.

The wine label says “Grand Cru Classe” without EN 1855. Is it the same as Grand Cru Classe EN 1855 on the label?
