- The debut of one of the most powerful & emotional remixes of Brendan's career, his 'In loving Memory' remix of Coldplays 'The Scientist' - performed on the mainstage at Luminosity Beach Festival in front of a capacity crowd - all in dedication & memory of his beautiful fiance Ellie, whom had recently passed away.
Sharing the moment on stage with him is his brother, Ellies brother & his close friends whom had flown in from Australia for the event.

I lost a really good friend nearly twelve years ago and I never dared to shed a single tear or accept that he was gone. I have refused to work Thursdays ever since as that was the only full day we could catch up, it was like I still thought I had to keep it free because he was coming back. He knew me better than I knew myself at times. He was my fellow trance lover and we would spend hours playing a stupid game where we would play a random 5 second clip and have to name the track. I would record mixes for him for the van and just bounce off of each other. I was/am godfather to his children who I now protect as my own. Enough of the story. I just wanted to let you know that I recently completely broke down and was a complete mess, this was literally while I was in the kitchen doing the pots while listening to some trance on the Echo. I have since locked those feeling away again because I just feel like I cannot cope with them. The reason I am sharing this is because I wanted to say a massive well done for allowing yourself to grieve. You must be going through hell, but instead of acting like you could cope like I have, you have broken down and dealt with your huge loss. I hope you read this Brandon, because I am so jealous that I didn’t and haven’t done that and I wanted you to know that you are not alone. I felt your pain with every beat of this set and the one at SubCulture, your first after losing your soulmate. Keep allowing yourself to be upset and process this horrendous time, please don’t end up like me. Sending all my love and respect to you and I sincerely hope that your beautiful Ellie is at peace. ♥️
