I wonder if that was the night his vocal cords blew out. It was said it he knew something was wrong during one of the shows (possibly this one?) but plowed through it anyway. Hoping Steven gets well soon!!
Looking for the most recent UA-cam postings of live Aerosmith doing ‘Dream On’. Can Mr. Tyler, at the age of 75, still hit those notes? Age is viscously fighting him, but Steven is viscously fighting back. Yup, he still can hit those notes! And when he hits 80, I’m sure he won’t disappoint.
I would like to wish Steven, my most favorite vocalist and person, a speedy successful recovery of his vocal cords, so that he gets stronger and finishes performing all his shows, I pray to God that he will help him recover successfully and his cords will be in perfect order, as well as his health ... I would like to tell Steven that we are with him and that we love him with all our hearts and souls... This song is my favorite, and this song was the first one I heard for the first time, I fell in love with this best in the world of a vocalist and a person..🎤💯💯💯🎼🎵🎶💯💯💯❤❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏

@StevenTyler887 Hi Steven...we came from Montclair Heights NJ to see the show. Actually, we sorta could know each other. We both went to Roosevelt and You and the Chain Reaction played my best friends Prom there at Roosevelt Also, my brother went there, he was a grade or two ahead of you. Anyway, I used to hang out at Nathan's on Central, the Fore and Aft in White Plains. The Candlelight. So we might have met. Knowing your vocal cords are all healed! You were GREAT, so were your guys...ROCK ON!!!
Sad day in ROCK History, but the music will live on forever and ever and ever and ever and ever....I bet they have more unreleased music that might make daylight perhaps in the future.
Trust me, they have enough unreleased music to release an album once every year for at least 20 years. Not to mention the fact that from like 1988 onwards, almost every show is professionally recorded. If they retired in 2000, they would still have a ton of unreleased stuff.
Nice job! It's hard to overstate how great this show was. I have seen Aerosmith dozens of times and this one one of the most amazing shows ever. Hard to believe they are all in their 70s. The Crowes also did a great job and the crowd was off the hook, haven't seen such and excited crowd in a very long time.
es increible que Steven haya escrito esta cancion cuando tenia 17 años y hasta hoy sigue vigente, nunca pasara de moda, es un tremendo tema......sueña, sueña hasta que tu sueño se haga realidad........que grande por Dios
just read about Steven's vocal cord damage so went here to listen to his vocal. He's never *ucking sounded better. . more control, better intonation, power, emotion, expression than I've EVER heard in Dream On performed live. so . . . not sure about the veracity of the vocal damage story, but for me, Steven Tyler is on his game better than ever. And this is a hard song to sing. . always has been. Amazing (someone needs to tune the guitars though. . . roadies?)
You can cry now. . .and during the show. . .and cry some more when you see the video clips of your show. . .it is just that tear worthy. . .soooo good!!! xoxo
My first concert was Aerosmith and Ted Nugent opened for them. I believe it was 1984 or 86, I cant remember exactly. Seen them a bunch of times after that and they never disappointed. What a career theyve all had and its sad they are done.😢
It’s awesome how it looks like he swapped the scream at the end of the 3rd dream on for a much less aggressive falsetto Ooo starting with the scream the. Changing to the O sound, way to adapt for the health of your voice
It's a shame what happened with his vocal chord shortly into the tour, because I was blown away when I heard him sing a line in the same voice he originally sang it in all those years ago. I know everyone caught that.
I love Steven's voice, even with his health and age. In my opinion, Steven, if he didn't get addicted to drugs, i think he could reach the age of Paul McCartney.
I think when he was doing dream on on that part when he hits the high notes that’s where it got damaged! Man I am scared after his recovery he may not be able to do it anymore! Look what happened to Elton John in 1986! Because of excessive use off his voice he no longer can hit those high notes like he used to!
I'm a huge RUSH Fan and areosmith would never give them time for a sound check . Geddy made sure they never treated any opening acts disrespectful. areosmith treated them like crap . They will never measure up to RUSH
Axel rose will never be able to sing at 75 😂😂😂😂 Areosmith will always be greatest of all times… he sings with his own voice and does not try to scream it… no voice could ever handle the stress of screaming lyrics for several years.. why Steven Tyler succeeds for as long as he wants to sing and will never be booed of the stage
he is 75 and playing in original tone. he did perfect screams till age 70. how are robert plant, klaus meine, paul stanley and other 70 year old doing? they all suck
@@NicoCabjj I was at opening night he needed the teleprompter all night even had the words and keys to play on a piece of paper for Dream on. Back up singer helped him out all night
@@Json547 because I sat right next to the stage 3rd row 2nd level monitors everywhere and I was watching the backup singer/keyboard guy sing almost half of every song with him. They didn’t shine the light on him a lot as well
@@JoshSimpson47 It wasn't the backup singer, although they may have been singing something that 100% Steven's tone. What happened is that "dream on, dream on" is still him live but on the "a-a-a-a-a" part they changed to playback of his own pre-recorded voice. I see this because he doesn't open his mouth well enough on that a-a-a part as who used to, what is needed to do the note. Although it's not the original recorded version either, so they probably pre-recorded it before the tour. No judgement though, he is 76 and sing everything live, for the rest of the show and before.
It's actually sad. This was once a great band, but the truth is everything in the 70s was brilliant and everything after that when they made their come back was nothing short of commercial crap that they didn't even write
I can't get over how good he sounds!
Whoa, this 75 year old man can still rock out singing one of the most difficult songs ever written for the male voice.
Is it just me or does Steven sound at the top of his game.
