Some folks love Hand stacking sandcastles as you don't really need any tools and it is very enjoyable making sand pancakes
This works better on a beach where the sand is not good enough to form in a bucket
we use it in amateur competitions to add more towers, walls, even whole villages!

I'm super excited to try this with my friends at the beach this weekend! How long do you have to wait the water to drain before you can start carving?
Where is your beach? And A. As soon as the water has drained, if when you carve its still sloppy, just wait a couple of minutes, or simply watch carving the hand stacked tower video! Or if you are on the texas coast modify a bucket as we did in our bucket prep vieos..results will better if you form the sand - promise
@@SandcastleAndy So would the bucket method work in Ocean City, Maryland? I assume the sand is different since you specifically mentioned being on the Texas coast to use a bucket, so I just want to be sure. Going later in the summer, so my daughter and I have been watching all your videos and prepping. 🙂
