- Tijdens de Tyros5 demodagen in het weekend van 7-8 december 2013 bij Keyboard-centrum Eindhoven was Michel Voncken te gast voor een spetterende show. Daarmee was het zijn premiere in Nederland. Dit is deel 3 van de demovideo's.
Uiteraard is het geluid van de video niet te vergelijken met de live Tyros. Dus kom bij ons in Eindhoven luisteren en zelf spelen op dit nieuwe topkeyboard van Yamaha.
Michel is a genius. I love when he plays on Tyros. Thats music is alive.

I never learnt dutch, but I know some German, thus I managed to understand the description and some words the tester told. Anyway, his performance speaks by itself, and gives me the will to purchase the Tyros 5. Groetjes uit Portugal, uitstekend.

Wat een prachtige demo weer van Michel, jammer dat het publiek er weer doorheen moet praten in plaats van de luisteren.
echt schade, dass die bei der Demo ständig Quatschen. wäre mir zu unruhig. Sollen doch rausgehen, dann brauchen die auch nicht so gegen die Musik ambrüllen....

There is also deel 1 and deel 2 with for the rest same title. together the three parts form the overaal demo session. so maybe you think that Michel had to be yapping the organworld, watch the other parts :)

Yes, you can also enjoy part 1 and 2. Michel was humoristic and gave very good demo. Looking to your name if you are French, do you know the youtubes of Sud-Claviers. Might also be good tip :)

De tyros vind ik een schitterend keyboard, Dat Is Een Hartenwens Van Mij. Ik speel nu met een orgel van yam met twee klavieren en een voet pedaal. Hij Is al 40 jaar oud en doet het nog steeds! Het Is een erf stuk..

Hallo Anton, Ja, stimmt. Mit Compactcamera, ja ebenzo mit Canon 7D kan man nicht gute Tonqualität bekommen. Und für professionale camera hab ich keine budget. Am besten geht man nach den Winkel um Live zu horen.

Nowadays I play more and more church organ (Hauptwerk). I assume it is one of the audio styles but I didn't sofar recognize it. Maybe the tempo is changed which makes it harder to recognize.
Fred Mellink Thanks for your answer. Yeap, I found out it is the preset Latin audio style called Bomba 1 with an aprox. 27% tempo reduction, using III intro and I’d say The B main variation.

Den Tyros 5 kaufe ich nicht, denn es ist ja bereits ersichtlich, dass ich mit meinem Tyros 3 gute Musik machen kann.
Was hat die Tyros mit dem Übergewicht zu tu?

I do not understand why people are so stupid to buy this keyboard! For the same money u can buy software with much higher quality that this synthesizers with 25 or more years old engine (AWM2) which is basicaly a low resolution sampler which was not ground breaking even in that times of introductory.
Do you have a link? As far as I know there is no software capable of doing what the Tyros5 is capable of.
Maarten Bijster Does Native Instruments Komplete Ultimate cannot cover all u need in Tyros? Ofcause there are much better solutions then Komplete but u need to search for them separately. But i have no idea what u need for your music. For example if u need VA cheak Uhe Diva, Ace or Fxpansion Dcam Synth Squad.
If u need strings maby VSL. If u need piano cheak Piano Teq or Imperfect Samples. if u need good recording DAW cheak Studio One and so on.
P.s. Yes with software and computer you need more time and more work to set up and find best software you need then with keybord like Tyros where awrything is in one box but if you are so lazy to do that i have no idea how u can be a great musician with that laziness!
If you're looking solely for the greatest instrument sounds, you are right. The sound from VST's is incredible. You even have choirs that can sing your lyrics!
The Tyros line however (and all keyboards for that matter) are build with live playing in mind. When I quickly want to play something, I don't want to record the drums, bass, rhythm guitar and piano on separate tracks first, then add effects, reverb, some compression and do a mixdown. (You *can* do that if you want, see my YT channel.) I want to play *now* and a keyboard is great for that. Of course, keyboards are also great for one (wo)man bands.
If you think that's "lazy", then I guess you've never played a keyboard. It's a deep instrument. It quickly gives results, and to make it really sing you need a lot of practice.

Maarten Bijster I see you point. But i do not see what is the problem to use VSTs live. Also if i have inspiration my Mac Pro late 2013 model ( the cylinder one) is always in sleep mode so it turns within 1 second. Then i enter my password. And load DAW 2-3 seconds ( Studio One) and here i go.
P.s. And yes that's what matters mostly for me is the sound. If i have better sound i would handle some hassles but to give better sound because my main goal is to make the best to people who will listen my music and i will take some abuse if i need to.

If you want to have the best sounds, know how to arrange (I don't), know how to make an ensemble of sounds to groove (I don't) know how to mix, and don't need to react in real-time, then VST's might be all you need. (Although the SA2 voices are great.) I would love to hear some of your music, but I didn't find it on your channel. Your cat is cute, though! :-)
Michel Voncken is a great keyboard-player - a fine man for YAMAHA - but why getting so fat - and how is he looking to day in 2018 ? It's a shame ……………..
The last time I saw him, he lost approx. half his weight.
