- breaking down a soft maple yard tree with a tigercat buncher. NOTE This was after doing a 10 acre clearing job and was waiting for the float to show up so he took those 2 maples down for us. Leave a like or comment and check out my other videos.
it warms my heart to see big logging equipment working down town .😎 can u image how many people freaked out when they drove by and seen that sweet video stay safe get logs
People do not normely get too see these machine at work as they live in the deepest thickest forests. And you certantly dont get too see the god like skills of skills of the operator!
We are hand cutters so we don't get to see them often either. Thanks for watching!
@@SkidderKev ide love too oparate one . However here in the uk its health and safty mad! You need a ticket for everything!!!!!! Which cost big £££ Even a ladder the most simplest thing too use in the world!!!
They aren't to fussy here with being certified but does help. Some bigger companies do require it.
This might be the first skidder kev video I ever watched. Had to watch it again.
Haha must of popped back up in your feed.
Rare sight but definitely the fastest way to take down a tree!
HOLY SHIT!!! that's just too cool. Now that's something you don't see everyday, a tiger cat in town knocking off trees....NICE!!!@!
no you don't see that often. gotta keep making room for more houses.
Now that is how you trim a tree!
anybody else get this in a suggested video? Its from 7 yrs ago. Either way i liked it. Thats how you take down a big tree!
Cool to see it in town working. Probably the fastest and safest way to take down that tree!
ya it saved us a ton of time and he got it done before the float showed up.
Gotta be the safety tree removal inside a city ever.
I’m sure it was a tough call 660 Stihl or tigercat, you chose wisely.
Work smarter not harder! Thanks for watching
I wonder how many people are breaking that stay 500ft away rule :)
A lot! I ran out of fingers and toes to count them all haha
That’s the first time I’ve seen a feller buncher used like that! Cool
ya me too. saved a ton of time for us. also for some reason your first comment got removed. not sure why.
@@SkidderKev weird. I have set up this account for my firewood business maybe once I made the account a channel it got rid of the old post? Oh well I sure do enjoy seeing the big equipment running.
pretty cool . thought he was in trouble for a min
I don't know why that tree had to go but for one it's nice to have the right equipment, and for another I'm pretty sure wood like that is worth using for something.
It did get sent to the sawmill to he turned into lumber and the limbs turned into firewood. Thanks for watch!
That was quick!
Yup. It make quick work of it and got us home in time for a late supper!
May as well have left the lowbed idling alongside because that little job`s done in 10 minutes. Safe clean way to do the job, but totally overkill.
sure is a safe clean and fast way to do it. He just finished doing a 10acre clearing job and was waiting for the float to show up, so since he was there waiting he took 2 trees down for us.
@@SkidderKev thats how we cleared all the trees in the seniors yards using a feller buncher wich it alot safer then a chain saw and tree goes wrong direction and onto the seniors home wich why it was a smart thinking and no building damage
Wow, what a time saver !!!
Sure is, plus this was at the end of the day and had to be on the ground that day.
@@SkidderKev feller bunchers sures handy for tree work around buildings no worrying have trees fall on to the roofs wich why we came up smart idea use the feller buncher in the seniors yard
Great way to do tree work
I think so!
Very cool video. That's one way to do it.
Thanks! Saved us alot of work.
@@SkidderKev that like we done with our feller buncher to clear trees around the senors home wich it was smart and safer way then hand held chainsaw plus trees wouldnt fall on to there senors home wich we had smart idea
The tree said "Just take a little off the top..." I have never seen someone do that with such a machine, who needs a cherry picker? ha ha
Saved us lots of time doing it this way. You are really get through my videos. This one is a oldie
@@SkidderKev Yeah, new to your channel and checking out some of your other videos, thanks for posting.
Thanks for following along!
awesome job. im very impressed
Randy Carreiro thanks a lot. Always nice when you can get a machine to help you out.
What kind of tree is that? Those things usually go through a tree like a hot knife through butter. This tree almost stalled the blade multiple times.
It was a maple tree. It's not our machine but I think it could use some new teeth.
What kind of tree was it??
Silver maple
slight overkill
Is this on Major Mackenzie?
no it was on simcoe st
shame to see them cutting down such a big old tree not many left that big with the way they cut wood now a days that tree must be at least a couple hundred years old
Rookie
What Model?
I don't remember the model number sorry
@@SkidderKevOkey❤
you need new teeth mate
That guy need to take a few lessons.
