Wow--big coincidence. I JUST got inside from an activation this morning where I burned through 3 (three!) 12v 9amp biennio batteries -- for a single CW POTA activation, only 36 QSOs. I turned up to 60 70 and 90 watts a few times so I could work 17m etc. instead of sitting my a** on 20m all the time. I'm activating all weekend, possibly down to -22C here so I'll be back down to 30 watts, 50 only if I have to. I regret not buying a big boy battery. 73 Paul KE9BHN

The bigger 20ah lithium definitely helps a lot! I also personally think that the weight is ok too for POTA.
