- The Camas school district administration building conference room was filled to COVID-19 capacity as parents spent more than their allotted time addressing major concerns and frustrations with school board policies during the pandemic.

How can schools think this is a good idea??? It’s teaching hate and it’s total BS!!!! Parents need to demand this out!

The lies about Columbus committing genocide? About the "big switch" and the "southern strategy"? That FDR saved us from the Great Depression? There are plenty of lies told in our school systems. And our country doesn't have a racist past. The Democrat Party has a racist past, one they've never acknowledged or apologized for. The truth is that this is the freeest, most tolerant, most opportunity-laden country ever on the Earth, and that we made some mistakes but so does every country. Telling our children that we have some systemically racist country built on rape genocide and colonialism, that they need to accept responsibility for something they never did, to feel guilty about their skin color, THAT is the big lie. That takes courage. If it makes any parent feel better, every video I have seen like this, it starts with one parent standing up, then multiple do. Some admitting they weren’t going my to say anything, but seeing someone else’s courage gave them the courage to stand up.
Keep in mind, this whole, parent teacher conference meetings, will most likely stop one day if this extremism continues (which why wouldn’t it), the time to stand is now.

There are some experiences that can't t be duplicated. Not sure I'm seeing quality socialization going on unless maybe at Summer camp led activities which are probably not as academic! Just learning to navigate a system involving other groups of people is valuable!

The fact the board is more focused on the clock than the person speaking or the issues spoken speaks volumes.
They only are when they don't like what's being said. It's a convenient excuse. It's also a Marxist tactic to intimidate by requiring them to say personal information first. Marxists tend to focus on attacking one target as a group to instill fear in the majority. Once they take over completely, like in China, they do it much more and attack groups.
Depends on timing and what needs to be done at the meeting. Public comments can be a real pain if you have people taking too long or need to conduct business while still wanting to end the meeting before midnight.

What needs to happen is that parents should be able to ask questions of the board and force the board to engage.
These parents are restoring my faith in this generation. I was beginning to think no one could reason anymore. My prayers are with all you parents. I have children with children and they too are facing the deceptiveness of school boards and the unions. I was a school board member long ago and even then I could see the flow of thought in public schools. My daughter has chosen to home school. I am proud of her.

2 of those school board members have been on their laptops the majority of the time ,NOT listening to the speakers/parents at all. It’s truly disgusting! I as a parent would have called them out publicly & asked them, “Are you not interested in the slightest of what we parents have to say, because neither one of you have looked up from your laptops to acknowledge us?!” 🤬

I am a teacher who was forced to take “equity” training. My county implemented CRT curriculum in 2016. I spoke out and now have a letter of reprimand in my file. I was transferred to a new school. Teachers are too afraid to speak up. That is unfortunate, since every teacher should advocate for the wellbeing of their students.

This is a great idea, I’m going to do this from now!! When the school wants to speak with me. I am going to set my watch and say you got 3 mins. Give them the same curtesy they give parents. Must be wonderful to tell your boss, how long they can speak to you!!
The answer is simple. TAKE THE KIDS OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOL. Just because it's a complicated process does not mean it's an excuse. That is how you end this.

I was homeschooled for a year and a half, but then went to public school. It was hilarious how bad public schools are compared to my mother. My little brother has autism, so my mother was too stressed and decided to put me in public school to help focus her energy on my brother which I don’t think is bad, he had a hard time and I’m happy she did that. He was homeschooled for a lot of his life, but due to the laws in place at the time still had to attend a HORRIFIC school district that messed him up big time. Never gave him opportunity. We didn’t want charity, we wanted a chance. Nothing… I started a program as a student to prepare special needs kids for standardized exams and my brother took one, did very well! He’s about to start college at a state school, and wants to become a banker and he wants to travel the world he always says 😂 but anyways I got off topic. Homeschooled kids are rare but they appreciate their families and especially the mothers who do that. My GF was homeschooled all throughout her academics, she graduated two years early and is a college junior (this September) at 18. I’m 19 and about to be a junior. Homeschooling is effective, efficient, and with a mother who loves her child it can be a comfortable place to learn. So as a son who appreciates his mother for her time with me and my brother, thanks for what you did, I hope more people do it, and I’m sure your children love you for it 😊 there’s a great saying in my culture “the mother is always the child’s first and best teacher, because she loves them enough to give them her wisdom, and is wise enough to take the time of day to love them”.
Thank you for your courage and for standing up for what is right. We are now in a true battle of good versus evil and you better believe this.

School boards across the country are all identical. They listen politely and move forward with "the plan" regardless of the public's input.
These school board members actually paid attention And watched and listened ... That's not usually the case

School board members come from the community and are voted in by the community.

Don't let them intimidate you, they have no authority over you and they work for you. If they will not listen look into using public common law hearings to make them pay for the trespasses they committed against you and your family. I had trouble hearing the parents' speech because they were either talking too fast or had the microphone too close to their mouth. I did hear and enjoy the speech Titiana Ibraham gave in front of her school board. I was cheering her on in my own home. I am so encouraged that parents are stepping forward and expressing their anger at the Marxist curriculum in the public schools. Bravo!

I recently moved away from Southwest Washington to another state because of heavy-handed restrictions such as this. As the saying goes, "My rights don't end where your fear begin."

After 28 years in Portland we moved to Boise to get away from CRT indoctrination and more. Our daughter is a middle school teacher and could not morally teach this. The last year she taught in Oregon she was forced to teach CRT and said the look on the middle school kids faces was crushing. It is wrong. Thank-you Idaho.

Watch out! Liberals can not deal with the messes they have made out of states like California and are flooding into pristine red states like Idaho. Once they have changed enough of the demographic it’s on to Congress. Be vigilant and be proactive!
I am sad to say that we fell asleep at the watch. Foolish and immature people took over our educational system while we looked the other way. It will take a great concerted effort to change things now. I pray to God that we do make that effort and save the very wonderful country that is the United States.
Bring back the pledge of alliegance, prayer, marksmanship classes, and the American flag to public schools.
This is where you start at the local level doesn't matter if you're a parent or not it affects us all!
Thank you, parents, for standing up to this attempted reemergence of racism. We need to stop this before it gets too entangled into the curriculum being taught to our children, and future generations. I work for a local school district, so I know how much of this is being discussed by leadership staff behind the scenes. It's terribly unsettling.

Homeschool, but continue to fight them at these meetings, we can't have these children taught this stuff and then bring it into society.
It's simple people... I worked for school districts for 25 plus years and the only thing they care is the A.D.A. average daily attendance. DON'T SEND YOUR KIDS TO SCHOOL AS A PEACEFUL PROTESTS THUS SIGNALING "A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE" OVER THE LEADERSHIP. Also request in droves a inter district permit to take your kid(s) to other district. Hit them in the pocket book.

My school board is trying to criminally charge a bunch of mom's and dad's who spoke out and interrupted our school board meeting. It's a complete joke. They refused to listen and they seem to have forgotten that they work for us!

I am always amazed at school boards who have lost their heads with a little bit of PUWER and then want to bully parents and children. They should be removed and replaced with people who listen to and act upon the wishes od the parents they are supposed to represent.
