It's like paradise on your farm. Peaceful even with all the goats running around. This is what I call a good life. It's amazing how the goats know what to do without anyone telling them. Everything is beautiful. I often wish children were raised on farms so they could enjoy what a good life is. It would bring them closer to God. ❤👍✝
Yes I wish my 2 older boys were raised on the farm. My youngest one was raised here and the oldest is here now.
The farm is looking nice, the goats and the babies are healthy and the chickens are laying well. Praying for your dad and your family. I lost my dad to cancer over 20 years ago. He was 69, and I still miss him. 💖🙏💖

It is so awesome how God devised dogs to watch over the goats and goats to know they’re there to protect them. It’s so sweet, watching the little baby goats eat grass. we can hear the cows a little bit but it’s not much and the grass is beautiful. The goats are in seventh heaven for sure! I am so sorry about your Dad. With his kidneys not functioning, it is so hard seeing them have dementia relating to the poor kidneys. Hallucinations are so part of that issue. Your Mama rocks doing everything she does to care for your Dad. Do you have anyone that would give your Mom respite from care, not just you or Tonya, but give your Mom time away? Home health or even hospice (not just for end of life!!) Even if it is someone from church, so if your Mom just wants to bake a special treat, or go get some groceries, have a special hair/spa day? That is also important for your Mom, as it does take such a toll on her too, and yes all of you. GOD BLESS.
Right now it’s just me and Tonya and my son helping out we are looking into external care as well
Your sound is good, could hear the babies but couldn't hear much of the cows. Sending prayers for your Dad and Mom. I know you all spend a lot of time helping them, but it is very hard being full time caregiver for your spouse. My heart goes out to her and all of you. Been there, done that. 🙏❤🩹

I never could get my three goats to eat grass. They liked hay and feed. They lived to be 14 years old. I got them when they were 3 months old and were so adorable. 2 girls and one boy.
Goats can be picky can’t they?
Dont hear the neighbors to much a little .But hear the baby goats . So tiny an eating grass.Roosthers can get mean but usually think they are protecting their hens. PRAYING FOR YOUR Dad and mom.
What I love is that you stay with your goats enough to know all of what you were telling us. Like watching Oreo’s babies and then watching Oreo talk back to her babies. And I can barely hear those cows mooing in the background.
I will certainly pray for your Dad. And you and your family. I know it’s tough for y’all. My husband died with brain cancer four years ago. I can’t tell you how tough it was for our three sons and me. All my husband worried about was me. He wanted to know that I would be ok when he was gone. He had glioblastoma. A VERY aggressive form of brain cancer. He lost his speech after his first brain surgery and then lost the use of his right arm and leg with his third surgery. After that one he died.

Thank you for sharing your baby goat's with us. I'm ready to start getting goat's, chicken's and rabbits for our farm. Our property sat empty for over 18 months and we're still getting things cleaned up for animals. Once we finish the cleanup then our fencing will need to go up. What do you recommend for fencing? We had to make contact with a guy to come take care of a pack of coyotes. There's about 8-10 running our property. Once they're gone I will definitely feel more comfortable getting animals. We also have a juvenile bobcat that needs to be taken care of. I enjoy so much getting to watch your goat's. My mom was diagnosed about 2 months ago with vascular dementia. It's definitely harder on us to watch them deterating. 🙏 For your Mom and Dad. Much love from our family to your family 💞
Make sure you have LGD’s just there scent alone will help keep other animals away. Make sure you have a good perimeter fence preferably goat fence4x4 square openings that way they can’t get there heads stuck. And then the inside of you property you can use the cheaper fence
@@FowlerFamilyFarm Thank You. Right now there's barb wire fence for a perimeter. I was planning on doing 5-10 area's so I can rotate the goat's from area to area so that the grass will have time to recover between moving them. The chicken's will most likely free range but go into a chicken house at night. I was going to put up a premier one fence for the chicken's so I can move them around to free range until they're use to it. I was also thinking of getting Guineas due to already having a tick and I am on antibiotics already this year. They're extremely bad already. It will cost too much money to treat 15 acre's for ticks. I'm not sure how soon I am going to be able to get animals because it will depend on the guy catching the coyotes. Just so much to do and I really wanted to make sure the infrastructure is in place before getting any animals.
The ticks are already bad this season for sure. Premier one fence is great for goats and chickens.
