- Chloe Agnew is a singer, songwriter and actress from Dublin, Ireland, now living and working in Los Angeles. At the age of 14, she gained fame for her integral part as the youngest and one of the original members of the internationally acclaimed music group Celtic Women. In 2013, Chloe embarked on a solo career. Today, Chloe performs “Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears” (comp: Brendan Graham; arr: Phillip Pacier; adapt: M. Riley). She is accompanied by Eric Rigler, on Uilleann Pipes and Irish tin whistles, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.

Her voice is like an angel and she is so beautiful.
One of my two favorite Celtic Women. She has literally grown up before our eyes. It seems like she has been performing forever yet she is only in her early-mid 30s. Her voice has deepened over the years. A mature voice now. Beautiful.

I miss Chloe being on the CW group because it lost so much without her. The last time I saw the tour with her, she came into the audience and I didn’t know it. A spot light came on right on top of me, and when my eyes adjusted and I looked to my right, she was standing next to me in the aisle. To say I was star struck is an understatement. She sat on the lap of the guy in front of me while she was singing. I don’t know what I would’ve done if that had been me! 🤩

Celtic Woman 2.0 is also pretty good. But, yeah, I miss the originals.

I have had to listen to this song again as I realise it was not only about Ireland it was about that great immigration island Ellis in New York harbour. My three times great grandfather would, I believe, passed through it. Thanks Chloe.
Oops, looks like I am 30 years too early. My ancestors would have passed through Castle Gardens in lower Manhattan. Still they would have had the same hopes and dreams and tears as young Annie and her two younger brothers!

Such a beautiful voice. Wish I could meet her in person. Her music touches me extremely deep. I recommend everyone to really listen to her. She is a angel walking on earth.

@@macaelatice-loma1048 I've been to several of her performances and had a meet and greet with her after four of them(so far). Believe me, she is not only beautiful but is sweet and loving (lots of hugs) and enjoys meeting her Chlovers. P.S. The only problem I have with the early videos of her is how she trimmed that gorgeous long blond hair as she got older.
@@johncombs2990 oh man those hugs are amazing i met her 4 times aswell small world man! yea she did have real long hair but i think it was too much of it for her and her hairstylist to fix her hair for every concert or special event if it was kept that long.

i know right Chloe has been my idol way back in 2005 when celtic woman began its just not the same with out her soft voice and fun personality :) By the way Chloe has a younger sister Naomi so her mamma has two daughters to proud of :)
I have watched a lot of CDs of her and watch her grow up and love her voice .I could listen to her all day. Keep it up .

Chloe I was wondering what happened to you. Last I saw a little of you in Ireland. I am from the States so I didn't see you a whole lot. I missed your golden voice. Truly a beautiful woman with in and out. As far as I am concerned you aught to stay right here and make that career go thru the roof.
Actually, she did. When Chloe left Celtic Woman her and her boyfriend Dermont Kiernan , who was one of the background singers for the group, moved to Los Angeles. She now operates out of there and performs around the U.S and Ireland. I myself saw her perform six times in two years at various venues around the Midwest and had meet and greets with her after five of them.

I really wish that she would follow a more traditional pop music style. She has a voice that is worth a million bucks. There is a much bigger veiwing for a more regular song. There is so much more then this very old sort of music.

I believe she has said in a Lisa Kelly livestream during 2020 that she has a spiritual background where she believes in the spiritual realm and her ancestors looking down from a version of heaven or an alternate reality but I don't feel that she operates from a biblical background. She said she doesn't feel like we all have to be on the same page, just whatever works for us and brings us happiness. I want so badly for her to be a believer so she can come with us to paradise. Please be praying for her with me if you're still seeing this!

I mean it’s weird sounding! She does ok on some songs but for the most part I don’t care for her voice. She is definitely not the best singer in Celtic Women. I actually don’t even know if she sings with them anymore but, whatever. That’s besides the point! Lol. I just don’t like her version! I’m not sure what her name is but, there is another girl in Celtic Women that does it and it’s absolutely magical! You should listen to it seriously! You’ll be blown away! If you think this is good you don’t know what you are missing! I absolutely love this song!!! I was just disappointed to hear her butcher it!
@Star Gazer I am not From Ireland but, my dad’s side of the family is Irish. I am very proud of my Irish heritage and love Singing, playing and listening to Irish music more than anything! But, I don’t care for Chloe’s version of this song at all. I couldn’t understand what you meant at the last part of your comment but, if you ever get a chance you should listen to Celtic Women do this song you should it’s spectacular!
@Star Gazer If you don’t mind me asking are you from Ireland? I think it would be truly spectacular to visit there one day! I have friends from there, that now live in the US. and friends that have visited there and I hear that it is a truly amazing country!
