- This macrame wall hanging palm tree of life is a little bit more advanced than some of my other macrame DIYs …BUT…as long as you are confident with your vertical double half hitch knots, you totally got this in the bag 💪🏻

1 - 10 inch (25.4cm) diameter metal hoop
- green thread
- measuring tape

For the Palm Leaves:
4 - 60 inch (152.4cm) 3.35mm single strand cotton rope, green DIP Dyed 100% Cotton Single Strand Rope - Ropeshop.ca
32 - 35 inch (89cm) 3.35mm single strand cotton rope, green
32 - 16 inch (40.6cm) 3.35mm single strand cotton rope, green
- hot glue
For the tree trunk and roots:
10 - 100 inch (254cm) butchers twine, white Bakers Twine - Ropeshop.ca
1 - 150 inch (381cm) jute
- hot glue
For the bottom fringe:
16 - 60 inch (152.4cm) 3.35mm single strand cotton rope, green
1 - 75 inch (190.5cm) 3.35mm single strand cotton rope, green

I love this! I am wanting to make this for a family member that lives in Palm Springs! Thank you for doing this. I think the blue to represent water would also have looked nice. I do like the green, it keeps the focus where it should be. I think I might try a golden brown to represent the sandy earth.
