Yeah, Gary. Ive been flying at my neighborhood parks all winter- and there really was no one else there when it was cold out. Now, those fields are just jammed up with dog walkers and lolli-gaggers, all hours of every day of the week. And weekends?? Forget it. Lol. Nearest AMA fields are an hour away from me, too. Ive been flying the wings off my Micro Draco, in the fields and parking lots behind my office-which is a short walk from our home. But, its definitely become more challenging to find a convenient place to safely fly planes like my eflight 1.2m T28 or my FMS MAULE.
So, i get where youre coming from, with the flying location woes.
Nice to have these Micros handy, tho. Theyre pretty tough, too. My little Draco has a couple hundred flights on it. And more than couple less-than-perfect landings. It's still looming and flying great! The UMX Airtractor is another tough little bugger, that ive been beating up in tight flying spots. Its just takes it and keeps on flyin.

Fully agree with you Gary! The Detroit Miss is a wonderful UMX, flying exactly like the Voodoo, but better visibility. It flies slow, it flies fast like an arrow, tracks incredibly well and always quiet! And like you demoed: even STOL capable 😂
BTW: gear is the same as well and indeed the Voodoo handles ground just as good. It just depends which (> 0.5mm) „rock“ you hit, i.e. completely random and defined by the runway. What an awesome bird!

Great flying. I have always loved watching your flights. I'm not an acrobatic pilot but you seem to do quite well.

I have been out of the RC planes for a little while... why are you loosing the church parking lot? Thanks.
It is 15 minutes from my home. The clubs are all at least an hour away. Makes flying daily hard.
@@IJustGotHere Hey GG, I am not understanding why you indicated that you would not be flying at the church in the near future. It seems to me that being close to home is a great thing! Did the church say you could NOT fly there after a certain date or is it being sold or? Can you please elaborate as the reason you will not keep flying at the church. Thanks for the fast reply.
