I’ve started my life with Christ a few months ago, when I was starting I was on fire but because of the earthly distractions my fire isn’t the same anymore I keep on repeating the same sin, I am full of guilt for hurting God, Jesus and specially the Holy spirit heard the Holy spirit but I didn’t obey it, I am asking for prayers, pls pray for me God has given me so much grace I do want to come to the point where God will close the door for me, I do not want to lose my spiritual life, pray for me if you would I would be glad if you mention my nickname cel thank you.
I went through the same when I was saved. Remember this is a marathon, not a race. God refines you in Christ. You are working on it, while God is working on you. God is patient with you. Keep with repentance. Jesus will heal you.
Close yourself or remove yourself from any old people, habits, situations, places that draw you back to those sinful issues. Prayer and Fasting help a lot. There may need to be some deliverance and healing needed in those broken areas of your soul. Repent daily and desperately seek Jesus and his atoning blood. Speak the Word of God back to those thoughts, issues, situations and people. Last but not least, BELIEVE that you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.

This probably won’t get read by anyone but I just want to share that every time I sin I have extremely low self esteem and all my confidence just deteriorates immediately after sinning against God and it seems like it’s uncontrollable I need advice :(
Unfortunately I’m not in any position to give you advice, but I’ll pray for you! I hope you find your answers. Edit: actually that is my advice. Pray to God about it. I’m sorry I can’t be more help than that.
Repent daily. Forgive daily. Close those doors that allows your sins to easily beset you( friends, family, places, things that keep reminding you of your old self). Meditate on God's Word Day and Night. Place Psalm 51 on your heart. Praise and worship

I have noticed that over time I need to put my trust on Jesus more and more the more I sin because my sin acts as a reality check that I am in need of a savior! Of course, I don't use his mercy to sin because the holy spirit convicts me to an extent and it always leads me to want to do the will of GOD.

There is no condemnation in Christ and, as you stated, if you are Spirit filled, then you will love God and want to follow His commandments. It’s important you learn how to place your identity in Christ. Self-esteem should never be placed in yourself. Sin started with a self-focus, and we overcome sin by denying ourselves and relying on God. It’s a never-ending battle, but what matters is the correct heart posture for when you do sin. As mature Christians, we should not be intentionally sinning. If you are, you need to repent and ask God to help you depend on Him in these areas. The entire point of the Bible isn’t about you, it’s about glorifying God, and we do that by depending on Him. God bless. SM

I've gone through a lot as a young man, I've been sexual abused, I'm addicted to porn, I have anxiety. If anyone could answer why is good allowing me to go down the wrong the path and how can god help me change my life.
Jesus came to save the broken--the ones who know there need for a savior! Luke 7:36-50 paints a beautiful picture of this, I hope it's of help to you. Jesus forgives us much so we can love him much "Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven--as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little love little." It's the BROKEN who know there need for saving, not the self-righteous (i.e. the ones who THINK of themselves as righteous.) Jesus said "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." (Luke 5:31)
It's the devil telling you that who you are as a person is who he wants you to be. It's a lie. As a believer of Christ you are given righteousness and sainthood. Love who God has made you and the fact that your identity is one of someone on a path to perfection. Hate the sinful nature of your flesh.

If you can't figure out how to trust God then you will certainly end up hating yourself and your enemies. Hate is the natural response to an overwhelming threat. This is a serious problem because you can't even be saved unless God gives you his spirit. So the unchosen are completely doomed and should just give up....so they should just hate themselves.
If I’m supposed to treat others the way I want to be treated… then should I express that hate that I have for their sin but also the care I have for their redemption (to that person)?
Oh yuck! Terrible teaching here! We have new hearts of flesh. Sin doesn't come from our new hearts. The cross actually worked believers. You are a new creation. Sin may reside in the flesh, but you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. For anyone who believes in Jesus as their Savior, lives in the Spirit. Do NOT buy into the old testament thinking of "i have a wicked heart". We have a new heart! Our heart desires are now towards righteousness, not sin. Please everyone! Know who you are in Christ. You do not have a sinful heart as a believer! Peace fam.
