Totally agree- I bought a gift set on Fragrancenet, sprayed it, freaked out because it was totally weird- then let it sit for a few minutes and then it turned into something beautiful. The violet is heavy but I love it. ❤️

I love this fragrance. Love the bottle too. But ima old head hip hop fan so graffiti and urban design appeal to me. If you know anything about hip hop you know who the Neptunes are. So I had the 10ml when it 1st came out and didn’t like it initially. I was in my (example) 1 million/sweet “panty dropper” stage. Eventually my taste matured and I came to love simple citrus, vetiver/woody fragrances. So with trying this over the years I came to love it, recognizing how good it smells. It may take a little fragrance maturing to appreciate it.
Saw this video pop up last week but then disappear before I could watch it. Knowing AC only reviews quality I ordered a 10ml at 99p, arrived today, love it, went to get some more now subject to a 300% increase. The influence of the main Fella. Excellent review, I get a touch of Tuxedo as well, cracking value.

This is a great fragrance very addictive. I don't get the narcisco or Fahrenheit comparisons though ,violet leaf is in Fahrenheit and violet flower is in girl , Fahrenheit doesn't smell sweet . I think every fragrance is synthetic these days, synthetic ingredients can smell like natural ingredients so no point in describing a fragrance as synthetic.

You are wrong with the opening, it is highly beautiful if you smell it softly and start frtom a distance, dont just super sniff it from skin range! But I bought the scent from your video, and God, do I love it. I just ordered 2 more bottles.
Spot on review my man. He definitely wanted his own take on Fahrenheit or Aqua Fahrenheit. It's an inexpensive way to try a Comme des garcons synthetic composition but done well.
Just got a 10ml of it, the only one I could find, and it kind of gives off an almond slightly appley thing. And mixed with the vetiver it only enhances its bitter effect of it. But its pleasant. Can you recommend anything that is like this, but not sweet at all? just bitter? and not powdery as well. Just bittery woody ? Maybe slightly floral? Any ideas? EDIT: No, now I completely love it. Yes, I found some dryer vetiver and such but wow, this is a magnificent scent.

Yep, this one went straight to the bargain bin because 1) that goofy-looking bottle, 2) the name suggest it's more for the ladies, 3) it's more masculine and definitely not the usual women's floral-fruity, 4) it's not going to appeal to the average dude. Of course, as you mentioned, it's a very interesting out-of-the-box Comme des Garcons niche quality perfume...that is insanely cheap. It opens a bit rough around the edges, but after a few minutes Girl transitions into an interesting woody, flowery, earthy scent that is very dry. I am not a fan of powdery fragrances, however 'Girl' was not overly-powdery to my nose and the Iris was well-done. Conversely, I didn't detect any vetiver in this one. To my nose the resulting blend in drydown is a pleasant, warm, creamy cedarwood (smelled like a cedery sandalwood) with some violet and earthy patchouli rounding out the background. Excellent review. I haven't a few backup bottles...they're cheap, cheap, cheap and a great way to get an inexpensive perfume from Comme des Garcons. Cheers!
Got this from your recommendation. When i first sprayed from the bottle was so pungent and weird smelling. Left for few days and came back to it. Gorgeous. Not the first time this has happened with fragrances? Is this normal? Iris in this beautiful, not powdery or lipstick it's a very different type of iris. Then the fun really starts after about 2 hours on my skin!

The only fragrance i've bought 4 full bottles of. It's love/hate, but quality is way above it's price point. Most TK Maxx have 50ml for £11.99 at the moment, or less than £20 on eBay for 100ml.

Mate i live in Thailand and i have tons of winter frags hahaha! You should wear this kind of frags for evenings/nights only with a smart dosage and application and it should be fine...

Seen these as cheap as £13 including 10ml travel atomiser. It's ridiculous but in all actuality its a nice fragrance after 10 minutes.

You don't get Vetiver ? All i get is a Vetiver and Violet dominant scent in the middle and late stages.
