I have a new hero !!! Great playing (first and foremost), excellent technique, stellar showmanship (even before his sticks started flying), and really FUN FUN FUN !! His ONLY slight misstep wasn’t in dropping his stick… and then dropped again… it was simply in not having a few backups around the kit. A stellar performance… and great camera angle for those flips eh??????? 100% across the board.
Okay...I pay very close attention to the music world...so how is this the first time I have seen/heard Mr. Urso!? I was privileged to see the great Buddy Rich, live, many years ago, and meet him after his set. This gentleman is very comparable...Wow!
The amount of spin he gets on the drum sticks when not even throwing higher or as high as his shoulders is absolutely amazing (and keeping the tempo while doing it). If anyone has the ability to slow this down and count the amount of spin the stick is making in one throw I would really like to know. To me he is the total package = you could enjoy the stick spends you could enjoy the playing BUT you get both with this man. I suggest to any one having access to drum sticks to give the low height fast spin a try = remember the stick can't go higher then your shoulders and it has to do a fast spin in the air. I haven't gotten it down yet and Im already $55.00 in the hole = $35.00 for a candy dish and $20.00 for a picture frame.

Right? I was confused that I have never heard of this guy. We...can clearly tell who his favorite drummer was...lol...but he does it justice. He has his own flair....and his touch on the kit is genuinely fantastic.... my god can he swing... love it. Made my day seeing this.

I’m always amazed at how these masters make it look so easy, until you give it a try. You can tell he is really enjoying himself. You can even turn the volume down, and STILL enjoy watching him play. Amazing!

Looks like 3 rotations from his left hand... 5 on the right. When he throws from his right the sick does go higher than shohlders
