Haytham Al Ashqar recounts losing his arm while playing football with his friends near his home in Al Jadeed refugee camp in Al Nusairat when two Israeli airstrikes hit the camp. While his friends were killed in the attack, Haytham survived but lost his arm.
Haytham hopes to travel abroad for treatment and to receive a prosthetic arm which will enable him to resume his hobbies.

Tears fell when this child said his missing hand was in heaven. It's very hard to imagine innocent and pure children having to experience this horror, seeing his friend die before his own eyes while playing football, and at the same time he also lost his hand...
His faith, resilience and positive attitude is just incredible. esp with his age.
