Love mine too! I have a couple issues though. They put things on this boat that are unusable. Thank you for the paddle storage idea because those holders on the seat are meant for rods which makes no sense. Also, why do they have gear tracks underneath the seat? They are useless!! I’m also not that happy with the rudder. It’s hard for me to compare because this is my first Kayak with a rudder but it seems that it should turn a lot better. Other than those few things, I absolutely love this boat. I fish a lot of shallow water, and this boat paddles really well, which was important to me. ✌️
I actually used the gear tracks under the seat to attach my seat risers! Overall. it's a pretty sweet ride for the type of fishing I primarily do. Glad you like it as well!
How dose it handle in extremely choppy water? I take my Kuda 12.5 on large lakes like lake Michigan and Geneva where the wave can constantly come over the front. Would the water be flowing into the middle leg well or be pushed off the the sides.
The average male weights 200 lbs and I am another 15 lbs above that. He many pounds of gear and accessories are you hauling? You stated that you are only 180 lbs and other average weight anglers are stating that water is coming up through the scupper holes which is a very serious problem. It's important that water can drain out of a kayak on it's own otherwise it is useless to a large portion of the market. I am glad you brought this fact to light because I was considering this for my next kayak.
Just bought a P127. Took it to small lake first time with kayak and Garmin Echomap 7". Had so much fun! Didn't fish 🐟, just looked. But WOW! Was looking for first kayak. Thank you for the video. Helped make the decision. Tite lines!
i bougth my ss 127 in january 2022 now i am thinkintg that is should have saved up a bit more and goten the p 127. Love the ss nothing wrong with it and i fish mostly shalow and weedy waters were a pedal drive would get clogged up but still would be grate to have the peddal drive option for those days wehn i need to cover distances on open water. I know i can make a bow or a stern mount for my ss but then i woudl have to carry the whole motor and battery setup again and thats why i switched from a boat to a kayaka to not have to do that anymore :D . Would like to see an ss 127 vs p 127 comparison video one time :D or even a long term review on the p 127 ther are not a lot of those out there.
I just love my 2022 Slayer Max 10! Only 2 things I would change on it as it comes from the factory. #1 A keel guard #2 a raised, metal steering control like the aftermarket one being sold. I would add "seat risers" to the list but since that compromises stability I totally understand why it's not feasible.
Sorry I have 2 different Hobies in mind due to i need to rooftop unless I invest in a hitch package and a trailer. Bonafide is probably best on the market right now
I just want a kayak that i can cast a buzz bait that want turn the dang thing a 180 degrees every time! My life time is killing me! 😂 I want a peddle drive so bad but 2000$ ugh a 700$ paddle will have to do later 😭
@@lowlifeangler well that’s just it I have a anchor, when your trying to cover water, and using moving baits , boy the lifetime can’t handle it 😂🤣 I have to constantly keep the yak straight. That’s why I believe a peddle dive will be my best option. And a 11’ or 12’ yak will not turn as easily casting moving baits.
I need to get my butt in this boat and try it out!

@@wendellfishing Without getting lengthy, why did you choose your Bonified over a Native Slayer Max 12? I've always been curious.

I saw the unique method for storing your kayaks in the garage, Can you create a video reviewing that.
No real reason to review... it works the same today as it did the last minute of the video. No issues.
Currently looking for the same sans pedal drive. Will add Xi3 and possible stern motor. Think it’s a great kayak.
Thanks Liz! I also hear that Lake Guntersville has some really good nets if you can catch one off the bottom.
@@wendellfishing Hahahaha 😂😂
I bought 1 when it came out the rudder sucked took a football field I called Bonafide they said no upgrade on rudder took 4 months to sell
What did you end up with?

I'm a fan for sure!
Nice review but after on water demo, I’ll keep my Native Slayer 12.5. It fits me and turns much better after the Berley upgrades.
As someone who owns a Native Slayer 10.... You got yourself a nice Yak!

Try an anchor trolley system

So the video titles about 3 kayaks is only about 1?
Collab.. the other two are linked
Its weight is probably turning some buyers off. Hopefully they'll put that PDL on a lighter kayak.
Hopefully they will come out with any 2nd kayak with a PDL!
When the p127 2 years ago didn’t like the rudder turning range was a football field
