All three companies have their own cutting edge technologies and come out with great products, but I believe the Go:Keys 5 presently blows away anything else in the $500 price range for an all around general purpose keyboard. Dedicated synths are another category, even though it has synth sounds.
Many thanks for the great video, which explains/answers a lot of questions. Could the Go Keys 3 or 5 integrated in a DAW for automization e.g. call up presets/styles and variations of styles from the DAW? Is it possible to play the Go Keys via Midi from another Midi-Keyboard?
Thank you! 1. No. Go Keys can be used as a single channel Midi keyboard to play instruments from VSTs/DAW but no as a full controller as you describe. 2. Also, you cannot play GO:KEYS from another keyboard via Midi.
@@phillc So, there is no automization workflow via DAW or Midi to quick call up e.g. favourite presets and styles? Are the Funk, Soul styles be also part of other "bigger" Roland keyboards? Or are the styles especially made for GO:KEYS?
Agreed. It sounds that way because I am passionate about what I believe in and what is blowing my mind. It is not sales talk or lies, just the truth. I have no shares with Roland.
Can I also download from the Cloud without a subscription and without the Roland wireless connector usb thingy?
I think some of the content can be downloaded to a DAW but I am not entirely sure how to. That's a Roland question.
I'm not sure about the details of access to the Cloud. You don't need the dongle, but it just makes it much easier, faster and efficient.

@@jjacob25101 I feel so too.
You cannot connect to the cloud from GO:KEYS 3 or 5 without the Dongle. Not sure about the other Roland Keyboards.

@@Peter-qg2oh No automation to my knowledge! Some keyboards do have those styles but not entirely sure which ones.
Is it possible to record layers of different instruments and vocals over each other on the go keys 5?
sounds too much like salestalk.
