Thanks PhilC, just the video I was looking for.
Thank you @MrFirstMiddleLast for the great question that spurred its creation :)
Excellent suspense music just in time for me to fall asleep.
@tzodearf2596 Cheers! 😇💤😵💫 Sweet dreams!
Molto interessante
That’s awesome!!!😎

another question, Can you transfer the midi file in a DAW? Are the arranger tracks contained into this file.mid?
Great question @tafallablas. Thanks. It does not convert very well. Bass and drums and embellishments are missing. Very insufficient sound. I have a video about your question coming soon. Keep checking and you will see how poor it sounds when moved to the DAW.
The video will be here: ua-cam.com/video/gvtMx-2RNB4/v-deo.html
Hey Phill, how have you connected the hockey’s to your DAW?
Via the USB Cable out socket.
Hi and thanks for this videos. Does the go keys 5 has a metronome for the recording function?
Yessir! It does have a metronome for recording!
what amazes me is that these boards CANNOT output digital audio over USB, which would make it extremely easy to create a WAV etc of the music you're making...
@@beefquiche With Go Keys 3 and 5, you can transmit USB audio directly to applications like OBS and DAWs. It is cleaner than the analog outputs. Or do you mean saving directly to USB stick?
@@phillc I was hoping to get a WAV file directly outta the keyb into the PC (or dumped onto a USB thumb drive).
I was also hoping to be able to run the USB output into the DAC of a sound system
how many sounds can you layer in these keyboard?
2 sounds is the max. One lower and one upper.
It's not multitimbral, right?
Multitimbral means an electronic musical instrument can produce multiple different sounds (or timbres) simultaneously. Imagine a keyboard that can play a piano sound with your left hand and a flute sound with your right hand at the same time. That's multitimbral! ..........SO Yes, in that definition, the Roland GO:KEYS 5 is a multitimbral keyboard. This means it can produce multiple sounds simultaneously, allowing you to layer different instruments or create complex arrangements. It has a polyphony of 128 voices, which means it can play up to 128 notes at once. It is not advertised as such though. NOTE: You cannot transmit multiple Midi channels at a time from GO:KEYS 5.
@@phillc Multitimbral by your latest definition is how most musicians define the word 😉, the ability to TRANSFER on multiple channels at the same time and thereby be a possible full track sound module or splitable to several keyboards.
