10 years ago I hadn't made it through my 2nd year of A-levels owing to being in hospital with anorexia.
10 years later, from a position of full recovery, I can say I'm #GoingToCambridge for a PhD in Philosophy at the College I'd looked around back in 2007. Hope everyone got the grades they wanted!

Hello Ibz first of all I was so inspired by u and I really thank you
I was born in Korea, in a poor family and I never attended a fancy international school like other foreign students
Even until like 4 years ago, I could not even understand "How are you doing" because my English was very bad. But, I really pushed myself to an edge. Sometimes I really wanted to quit and stop doing all the academic shit but thats when I watched your videos and encouraged to restart
In my AS level, I got AAB which is not bad at all but I really wanted to get an A in Economics but I couldnt. Also, my Economics teacher has always underestimated me, not giving a support. This was especially hard for me. He gave me the predicted grade of B in Economics
And guess what
I got 4 A* in Maths, Further Maths, Geography, Economics
When I was having a hard time, your videos were great help

I got AAA (in bio, chem and maths) and am doing medicine at Leicester (it's only God, I'm seriously so relieved and happy). I love you so so much Ibz! This vid warmed my heart so much :)
I got ABB which I'm pretty proud of considering the fact that I was hospitalised a month before exams began. It basically ruined my whole study plan I had and resulted in me being so stressed during exams. But seeing that I got my results that I wanted I'm just so elated. (I also woke up late today and ended up nearly missing my chance to get my A Levels lmaoooo)
You’re such an inspiration !! I got CDU, I got rejected by my firm university, but got an unconditional one from my insurance choice, but I’ll have to do a foundation year, but it all worked out for me! My insurance choice as the one I originally wanted to go to, it’s ranked higher than my firm, and the accommodation is way less expensive + very close to the uni, and I loved the atmosphere there. I can’t wait to bounce back and work my butt off and show everyone including myself that I’m not messing. You’ve been such a big motivation and support. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

IBZZZZ I MISSED MY OFFER FOR MY FIRM ! I needed A in English and an A or B in philosophy or sociology. So I opened the results and got A in English ( yay that's my degree) A in philosophy, and a C in sociology so I was rejected!!! I was gutted but also buzzing with my two As and just wanted to tell you since you are a hugeeeee part of my Alevel process !!! I got into a good insurance uni so it shows good things can come out of it xx I hope everyone else done good 🎉🎉🎉

FOM Flavour Hi! I guess just don’t put too much pressure on yourself and try to enjoy everything you’re learning from the beginning, I found i remembered it better that way. I did this by watching UA-cam videos/ documentaries about topics we were studying as we went along because I found it much more interesting that way, plus you can pick up on some key facts you may have missed otherwise. Then just keep on top of your notes, make sure you keep to all deadlines and probably most importantly respond to any feedback or improvements your teachers give you - don’t be afraid to rewrite essays/ test answers over and over until they’re perfect! Hope that helps, and I hope you enjoy sixth form. It’ll be hard at times, but if you make sure you’re happy there then the grades will follow, I’m sure!

I got B, C, E but I had an unconditional offer so it’s all good. Throughout sixth form I had a huge health crisis (lupus) and was in hospital most of the time and had to have chemo meaning I missed nearly all my lessons and had to do all the work/teaching myself, so I’m so proud of what I managed to achieve tbh
I got Distinction, D, E and you know what after everything I faced during my 2 years at sixth form, I am so so proud of myself! This may not seem very good to many people, but I still managed to get into my Insurance choice uni after all the interviews I had to face and many people in school and outside of school telling me that I would never be able to do it, YOUR GAL ONLY WENT AND SMASHED IT. Also I was 2 marks off a C in psych, which is so so annoying!! Thanks for the videos, they've made me laugh when I've been at my lowest and showed me that i was capable of anything if i put my mind to it :)
Retook 4 of my maths exams and went from a D to an A*. Now doing BioChemistry at Bristol. Ibz you actually saved me from not giving up and actually doing something with my life during this gap year. I got AAB after being predicted BBC by my teachers, they told me I wouldn’t get offers from any of the unis I liked. Unfortunately I listened and ended up not applying but I found a uni I love with lower entry requirements. I turned up to school yesterday, found out my results and had my head of year trying to persuade me to go through adjustment to get a place as a Russell group so the school would get the credit. It was the best feeling saying they I would rather go to Hull, a uni that I loved and felt truly welcomed at, and I didn’t care about its reputation. I’ve been given a grant from the university because of my much higher performance and it feels amazing to prove my teachers wrong after they refused to predict the grades I needed

Saidah Iman thank you so much’ and nope, my sociology was a linear course, so the marks I had didn’t count towards my final grade. I just ordered my exam scripts, and did a lot of essay planning and breaking down concepts, sociologists, studies etc to make revision easier. I also had to practise on time so I can complete my papers on time
