Incredibly helpful video! I was able to completely rewire the wire harness and everything worked perfectly! Saved me $1100! Awesome job, and thanks for sharing your techniques!

Thank you for this video I couldn't figure out how to take it apart. My high beam shutter wires were all broken and I need them to pass inspection despite never using high beams. I think they outsourced the wiring design to an insane asylum for these. Cheap brittle heat sensitive wiring and wire it like a 10th owner stereo install AND add some hidden torx screws? Love BMWs but this was ridiculous lol

Thank you so much! I got lucky and used silver solder near the ballast on one side a few years ago. The other side has breaks all through the line and I wasn’t brave enough to try this on my own. I will try this soon thanks your video.

Hello my friend thank you so much for the detailed work you did also the video incredible to detail. I followed your direction and now doing exactly that.. 2004 BMW 330 CI Bi-Xenon Headlight Left and Right. . I hope once I finish and done it will work. I will let you know sir.
Very expensive head light crazy 1500 dollars and no accessories with it plus the labour cost. imagine that. its worth to try takes time though but I have the time. thank you again . Pele.

Best video out there, I'm doing this right now and I'm just trying to gather all the parts for this project. Do you know what size wire gauge is needed, it looks like 2 sizes. What size shrink tubing did you use?

Amazon have this brand which most comment is one of the best for this type of scenario ( heat resistant, bends, and tin copper). I believe from what I been researching, 20 gauge is the wire you use for main headlight and 16/18 gauge will be use for the high beam.
I’m in the process of hoping to just splice new wires versus this whole complete job.

How were you able to get the light assembly out of the casing?

Do you know what push bar you had on your impala and where I can get one?

The kit was a Go Rhino 5080 Push Bumper for Chevrolet Impala, 2000-2005. In 2012 it took a bunch of searching to find one as the W-body impalas were only made until 2005 so Go Rhino had long stopped making them. Not sure where to find one these days other than police car rehab shops that might have them in their scrap pile.
