As a tradie, we try to make our vans look like anything but a tradie van..... A trade van parked up on the street at night is basically begging thieves to steal your tools....🤦♂
My partner started in a Holden panel van rabbit traps yabbie picking fruits, today he tell me people are to soft and want comfort, when I met him he had a old truck and he bolted down caravan on the back tow motorcycle trailer,he say they were the days.now live he live in a house.
No1, make the bed big enough. No2 Don't cut holes in the roof. No3 Have enough power to do everything from the inside. Without proper sleep you aren't a happy person. A leaking roof above the bed will stuff up your day. Having to stay inside all day without my X Box, Microwave and electric kettle is unthinkable. I live in both a 25ft caravan and a Toyota Hi Ace van. Not both at the same time but either or ither depending on how I'm felling. Both in New Zealand and Australia. If I won Lotto tomorrow I would buy a new Van. Get rid of the anchor around your neck { the house } and start enjoying life
this is what i always ask, im in australia, so i guess i would have to give my cousins address for my mail like registration and insurance etc... but if she says no well im screwed, i guess you can change all your bills to EMAIL only, that way all your bills get emailed to you
Hello we are full time van lifers. I just wish people would carry a toilet!!!!!we see so many vans whom do not. Come on people a toilet portable under your bed and there are dump points all over Australia to empty and hose out.
I enjoy just taking a dump on the ground like we were designed to do. What’s more natural and environmentally friendly than that? You lot sound a little too precious
✨CHERISH EVERY MOMENT✨💚🤝💚

You are completely right, carrying a toilet is so comfortable. We always encourage vanlifers to be respectful and clean with the environment.
If you stay in caravan parks all the time, why would you need one.
And why would it worry anyone else if you carry a toilet. I see folks stop at toilets in parks etc, pubs have them.

You lot sound a little too precious
