a quick google research will tell you 18x8.5 +40 offset is the ideal flush fitment without rubbing issues for the gr86
But what if somebody has a widebody that nobody has a spec to? Then what? Did you see how much problems people had for this nee gen?
The problem is that only accounts for the wheel itself. Considering people run anything from stock size tires to tires that look ridiculously too wide on a 228HP car, that tool cannot tell you much of anything other than what offset will make the rim flush. It wont tell you if your tires will rub the fender, or the suspension. It does not account for ride height or anything else.
You want to keep tires relatively the same size as stock anyways diameter wise or else your speedometer isn’t accurate.
@@Baka_Brigade That is only part true. You can increase the width as much as you want. You just cant change the diameter of the tire if you want your speedometer accurate.

Interesting. Basically it shows you how your offset would look on your car. Offset is the most confusing to most people. But this tool doesn’t show u how big ur tires look.
