It comes from a lack of putting the ideas into practice and recognizing how it doesn’t work.
The lies work well enough for most women for them to never question why they are in the same position over and over again
Men generally have harsher repercussions for believing lies.

Yeah but rap/hip hop culture leads to the chick with the tattoos letting herself get pimped out by her boyfriend and years later she claiming she was sex trafficked. I listened to rap back when it was still counter culture in the early 1990s. I had black friends in Chicago who grew up in middle class families start to play with guns. I realized one day as a white guy "what the fuck am I doing?" I have some friends committing slow suicide and the music I'm listening to is not uplifting. I came to the realization that rap was going to be a terrible negative on society and so I went back to my old music and lifestyle. Unfortunately I underestimated it's cultural impact and it's been a complete shitshow ever since. Nobody can make a serious argument that it has been a positive for anyone other than the rappers who get rich off lost and confused white youth.

New studies show that hormonal birth control greatly reduces the prefrontal cortex activity, reducing multiple important functions but especially decision making. Which explains a lot.
Having traveled to multiple countries in SE Asia that have basically made hormonal birth control illegal, the difference in Western women and women there is quite obvious. The young women I met specifically in the Philippines while at a wedding were very aware of what is going on in the West and do not want to become Western women. Refreshing. And it's a reason why many men are going to SE Asia to find women.

I love watching a young woman saying that they want to settle down in their thirties or forties and start a family, and then call someone in their thirties or forties old and out of touch. When I was a kid my father was a hero and a genius, when I was a teenager he suddenly got so stupid I was ashamed to admit he was my father, in my twenties he must have started reading because he started getting smarter, in my thirties he got so smart that any big life decisions I made I asked him for advice. Now, I am almost 60 and I ask myself what would he do if he was still here? These ladies are young and have been told they are free to do anything they want, which is true. But,,,,, nobody tells them in the real world there are consequence.

there is a period where dad is a hero, then he becomes embarrassing and doesn't know anything.
then the awkward "maybe he did know something because i can't explain why some of the stuff he said makes sense now".

It was funny how the right blue shirt woman asked when She was in the college, and when she answered 2012 was year when she graduated, 12 years from this year. And she was instantly "So it has been a while you have been in college"...
That show her inexperience and uneducation, because 12 years is nothing in time what Universities are.
If we would be talking about 30-40 years, then there is a point. But 12 years is that you have "just been there".
You still read mostly same books, you have same courses, you basically are listening same professors even in fairly good possibility.
And then how she tried to shut Her up with "I haven't heard any of this from my professors". Like what? You think that professors are all knowing, all mighty humans that will tell you truth and right information from everything? That they will inform you from everything?
That is what makes whole academic side so nasty, that there is so much conflict and politics going on that you don't ever know in the University that how much you don't learn.
It is when you step out and you start reading more what opposition say and what different thinkers think and say... When you start actually learn how little you know when you are in University.

Pre-feminism, women were treated far better than they are today. The women felt they had it worse since they could not vote, and the family was very important with men being the bread winner, and the women taking care of the home and the children. Feminism taught women they had to be bread winners just like men, and from that the family and thus children and the women sank in how they were viewed and treated.

    • @amylee6038
      @amylee6038 5 місяців тому +5

No. The majority of women were against having the vote because prior to the suffrage movement the man had to be a property owner. It was not a universal franchise for men. Generally that meant one vote per family. So the women correctly saw it as an attack on the family. Granting the vote to women greatly expanded the vote for men since you could no longer restrict it to propertied men.

Before Christianity the rich and powerful could do whatever they wanted. In the Roman Empire orgies and treating common women horrible was just a way of life. And the powerful women often exploited common women even more than the men did. Christianity insisted that women act decent and godly. The things is, it also insisted that men do the same. And that is what feminists refuse to acknowledge. There would still always be degenerates but without a religious moral framework (specifically Christian) there is no way for a woman to be treated well and not be oppressed. Because this ain't it. The sexual revolution and feminism has been a disaster for everyone.

have you ever picked up a history book? Women were not treated badly? Women in the 19th century were put in asylum by their own husbands just because they want divorce, or want to be independent, or have ambitions. And the worst part is, most of them were given lobotomies. Does that sound like a pleasant treatment to you?
and the argument that feminism is not needed anymore in this day and age. well, while that may be true for the most part in a 1st world country, do you even know how common child marriages are in certain countries to this day? more than millions of underage girls are being forced into an arranged marriage. and even for muslim women, some dont even have the choice to wear or not wear a hijab. just because feminism is portrayed negatively by some extremist women, doesnt mean it's not needed anymore.

It's true, tho. I am from Eastern Europe. There's a famous saying here "beat your wife everyday, if you don't know why, she certainly does". Old women in my village told me their men beat them without cause. It was custom to beat your wife to keep her in check and in fear. This happened everywhere before feminism. It is well documented.
Also, men (and humans in general) are far more likely to exhibit abusive behaviours that aren't illegal. It wasn't illegal to beat your wife within an inch of her life as long as you didn't kill her. In fact the law pertaining DV explicitly permitted certain forms of physical violence if men were the perpetrators. Women were not legally permitted to hit their husbands.
So... this is all history, laws that were in the books, provable reality. Does that mean all men were committing DV? No. But a majority of them engaged in some form of physical or psychological violence because it was permitted and there was no feminism to educate them to act better.

I was a college student from 1997-2001. This is exactly when a HUGE push to the "women can have sex like men" BS started, and a lot of it began with the tv show "Sex and the City". A lot of people don't realize how that show single-handedly changed the psyche of a lot of young women. It not only pushed casual sex, but it pushed wanting designer labels and expensive things above anything else. I remember noticing at that time how young women went from buying a normal black leather purse from the mall to suddenly needing Dior and Louis Vuitton dangling from their shoulders. Then social media came on the rise only a few years later and it was all about baller lifestyles--and screw the happy marriage with kids. And here we are.
