I agree, with tank controls up is always forward so the camera never messes you over. I don’t think they are good controls but for fixed cameras they’re a must.
@Thunder Life I remember in Devil May Cry 1 (the original) they did try to implement that in a way. If you pressed left on the analog and the camera changed you would keep moving forward in that direction even though left is not left any more. Forgot if there was a small time limit so you had time to readjust or as long as you didn't move from the direction you were pointing it let you keep going in said direction. That would have been better to add to the analog of RE Remake 1 on ps3/4 and re0 on the same systems. As it stands right now when there is a lot of camera moving (as more more than 1, lol. My tolerance is low) I use Tank. I've practiced with this for so many years Tank controls are second nature to me. When in a room with a monster and the camera won't move I can sometimes use analog. Makes it easier to dodge them. Especially the zombies.
@Thunder Life Well having more options is usually not a bad thing. So I would agree on that. Considering Capcom did Devil May Cry as well I was surprised it was not implemented. Oh well.

The dumb enemies, the dumber singing emo, rebecca forgetting everything and being surprised with everything in resi 1 when Chris find her, and the stupid puzzles in the middle of a manor/lab🤦♂️ Thank God for Ty key strength that guides us thru this playthrough
I'd love to see you play through Resident Evil 1 Throthgar I seen you played it but didn't beat it on the channel. Hopefully you'll get to it before Resident evil 3
My biggest complaint about this game other than the shitty fixed camera is the lack of resources. I don't care that this survival horror. Any game that forces you to always run past enemies ( considering there aren't many enemies to begin with) so you can preserve ammo to survive. Look I'm not saying that Resi 0 has to be like Resi 4. I don't have to have infinite ammo weapons, but that doesn't mean ammo should be so scarce either. There always should be enough ammo to kill all enemies, especially with shitty controls.
Operating on wrong information? Ordered them to attack a clearly peaceful village? Please tell me there's more plot to this backstory because that is fucking atrocious.
RE4 is a near perfect action/shooter game tho. If you fuck up it's you're own fault. You can't blame the game mechanics. If you suck at RE4, you just suck. Period. So... The rage probably won't be prevelant. Also, as it's a masterpiece of gaming greatness, it's hard to shit talk it. Cause.... Like what, you're gonna shit talk what exactly. It's perfect. I guess you could say that it somewhat feels anticlimatic at the end. But... That's probably because of played it about 6 times through and through lol. But yeah.... RE4 is a nearly flawless game. Not much to bitch about.
@@TheFly212 The whole saving the president's daughter story bit felt very 80's action flick instead of horror. The story in general was filled with a buttload of tropes to the point of parody. Also the insta-death quick time events were pure trial and error, making them annoying af.
@@WildDogGamerBoy The story was suppose to be campy and cheezy as fuck. Zombies in general are a dumb genre. That's the problem with the walking dead tv show... It takes itself to seriously. RE4 embraces the camp and cheeze of the whole thing and rolls with it. As far as instant deaths and QTE's... Eh, I mean if you don't suck ass you won't get insta death, and the QTE's are pretty cool. QTE's got annoying not because of RE4 but because every dumb fuck dev and game were doing them by the late 2000s. Even games like CoD, Battlefield and HALO started doing them.... So.. Yeah.

I enjoyed re0 remake but I cant get used to the re1 remake. I just hate all the control types. Not as good as the re2 remake
