    When I found the herrin EOWS-408 when I was 5-8 years old I freaked out and recorded a walk around video of it 2 years ago

    Does it have a damper?
    If it had then its rarer than a normal one

    Nice! How many Cyclones does Hereford have?

    • @TheCasualSirenEnthusiast
      @TheCasualSirenEnthusiast  2 роки тому +1

      They have 7 cyclones. They are also the last 7 cyclones left in Texas. The one in Canyon was recently replaced with a 508.

      @@TheCasualSirenEnthusiast Nice! Any knowledge on whether any of them are reverse wired? Hopefully they're all wired correctly.

      @@TheCasualSirenEnthusiast Great! Asking because it seems in every system of multiple Cyclones, there's always at least 1 that's reverse wired. Even Bensenville had one that was for the longest time until December of 2020 when Fulton fixed it.

    Was this the one that had no top? Or was that a different one? Cuz I heard that they put a new top on it.

      @@TheCasualSirenEnthusiast No, thats not the one. It is located in the alley on 15th st. and Ave J. Got a recording of it on my channel. My dad grew up there. These were put in in 1981. They all still work great!

      @@kdksiren oh hey KDK! Thanks for the info. Would you happen to know anything about those motors they have?

      @@TheCasualSirenEnthusiast 50 HP. Was told induction motors with capacitor start. When in Hereford, My dad said one stuck on after a test and ran for over an hour in attach mode. It was the one by the Bull Barn by railroad track. No damage to motor. This was in the early 80's. They were ran by phone line then. Could do attack and alert. Now radio controlled and only do alert.

      @@kdksiren I see. I was wondering if the motors were aftermarket or factory? any good pics of it without the top?
