What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety relief, stress relief, insomnia relief, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more.

No it doesn't - it's just your usual dystopian situation. How's this this even address war? The after effects of war are never romanticised - they combat is, which this game does not focus upon.

I am not trying to sound aggravated in my response, if i come across that way i am sorry! But the game is not dystopian, its actually based off of the siege of Sarajevo that happened during the Bosnian-Herzegovina conflict, and the siege still holds the record i think for the longest modern siege ever. which is why it seems so dystopian, that's what happens when you've been placed under siege for what i believe was 1,400 some odd days. I feel that modern society views war as something to have glory to be found in, and i don't support that ideal. you are right, only the combat is romanticized, but its done so much people only think of war as combat, they never think of the toll it takes on civilians. Having personal friends and relatives who where there during the siege, i was just super pumped for the game, and am even more pumped that one of my favorite users on UA-cam, ER, decided to do a LP. Once again, i do not want you to think i am mad or anything!! I really do not want any bad vibes on ER's comment section.
The style of this game, based on the first few minutes that I've watched, seems really cool! I've always been interested in what the actual process is for designing a video game, and this one seems pretty detailed! Can't wait to watch the rest! =)

I may have a video suggestion. Can you maybe set up some kind of toy store when we as the customer walks in. Then you show all kinds of toys, like lego's. You can tap the lego blocks together. It would be so relaxing!

This game is a "time sink" in the best way possible, I have put way too much time into it. I really hope E. R. keeps it in his rotation because it is prime material for an ASMR let's play and is just a terrific and eye opening game.

This game was made because of the Bosnian Civil War in Sarajevo, if I'm not mistaken.
My main scavenger Pavle died trying to steal supplies, I'm so mad they didn't add a WASD screen scrolling mechanic so you don't have to keep draggin' it trying to escape an angry house-owner with a pipe. Now all I have is Katia, Bruno, and the college girl who can only cheer people up (my crew was already happy with Pavle). Sorry to rant about games on an ASMR video but this really pissed me off, gonna set it down for a bit and decide whether I want to restart or continue without my boy Pavle :(

For me, it`s the Decay-Syndrome because at State of Decay I did that a like a million times. Didn't care if I was near the end or not...

This isn't post-apocalyptic. It's based on the war in Syria over the past decade. I've played the boardgame version of this & found it deeply affecting. We were quite somber when our last character died. It's as much an experience as a game. I would def play it again if I ever get the chance. I first learned about it on BoardGameGeek where someone was recommending it as the best game they've found for giving the most realistic experience of modern war.
Just wanted to add that in the boardgame, we had 4 players, but players don't play a particular character. All players make decisions for all characters.
Just an idea but you could do a play through of dishonored as Corvus, he might enjoy it.

U should play telltale games walking dead seasons 1 and 2. theyre perfect for asmr and they also got really good ratings.

Yes it was like that civilians trying to survive. My uncle fought in the Serbian side as a Russian volunteer and he witnessed this events.
Actually the game is set in a fictional war but the developers said that they were inspired by the Bosnian war (mostly Siege of Sarajevo)

I got this game a couple days ago, and I've gotta say, I'm really liking it so far. However, if you're looking for a game to sit down and relax to, this might not be the best choice, as this game does not pull any punches whatsoever. I don't think I've been this depressed playing a video game since Papers, Please =/

Ack! @16:54, I can't believe you were dropping components instead of wood! There is HELLSA wood everywhere among the rubble! But as more people scavenge, components will be harder to find. Anything MANUFACTURED, like duct tape, would be immensely useful. (Also, if a door is boarded up, I'd be hesitant to tear off the boards the way you did at the beginning. That's using a lot of energy & burning calories to undo work that might help delay intruders from entering later. See if you can find out what's on the other side of the door some other way first.) Sorry to be so bossy. I just have a mind that really goes into gear in situations that require a lot of resourcefulness.

Good game but soooo slooooow, it takes me about two hours to get to what I consider a "decent" level, to become established and sustainable you have to invest at least 4 to 6 hours.
That isn't really slow at all. I guess today's games are just incredibly fast paced compared to what games used to be like. Strategy and role playing games used to mean a large time investment.

Shhh, this man puts together amazing videos, personally the F sound and the clicking of the CK sound are relaxing and are much desired in the ASMR community, if you don't like it then quietly move to another channel
