2024 Biden 'Options' Ad

The Biden-Harris 2024 campaign also released its first ad addressing Vance’s place on the Republican ticket. The one-minute video features Hadley Duvall, a woman from Kentucky who became pregnant at 12 years old after being raped by her stepfather.
“Trump and JD Vance don’t care about women. They don’t care about girls in this situation,” Duvall says in the ad. “They will continue to take our rights away.”
Vance, who has called to "end abortion" in the past, told CNN in December that Republicans must “accept that people do not want blanket abortion bans.”

Trump clearly said it's up to the state government to decide about abortion, especially how sooner or later an abortion is done! People blame Trump for all the wrong reasons!

How is this consoling? Kentucky bans all abortions. There are no exceptions for rape, incest, or extremely malformed fetuses. This means girls like Duvall would have to carry a pregnancy to the end and be responsible for a child they didn't consent to have. Trump keeps flip-flopping because he knows most Americans oppose the overturning of Roe v. Wade. But at one time, he did support a near-total abortion ban, so his shtick about "leave it to the states" is bound to change at the flip of a dime.

There was never a "right" to abortion, specified in the US Constitution, either by the original text or by amendment.
The SCOTUS only clarified that there isn't. Therefore it is a State by State issue.
