Okay so I have a serious question, how much has this affected your ability to feel sensation on it? Apparently circumcision amputates most of the nerves, and severely reduces the amount of "plea sure" you can experience. Is this true at all?
@@jtl-en4yxof course it is true that the foreskin has nerves. Nature made us with foreskin. Circumcision (unless for medical reasons), is a barbaric practice.
To be clear, there is a marked DIFFERENCE between circumcising the UNDELVEOPED penis of an infant/adolescent and circumcising the DEVELOPED penis of an adult or teen who has completed puberty. The common damages of MIC (i.e., meatal stenosis, skin-bridges, horrible/misaligned circ scars (“necrosis”), twisting/curvatures of the penis, nerve pain, damages to the suspensory ligaments, corpus cavernosa and/or spongiosum, painful erections, early onset of E.D., etc.) have become "normalized"; these RARELY occur when circumcision is performed upon the developed penis.
I'm 62 intact and never had an issue with my foreskin , as a young boy , as soon as l was potty trained my mother shied all 3 boys higiene and how to properly clean our privates. It's all about maintenance and good health.
Right there, amazing how some people freak out on the very small chance of any penile disease, we don't go lobbing off other body parts because of a chance of getting a medical problem. Penile problems seem to reverberate from the US Medical Council highly suggesting the surgery as an excuse to make money.
When my older brother was born, my mother didn't speak English, and the doctors circumcised him. Ten years later, when I was born, my mother found an Italian doctor who said to her "Signora, this is a silly and unnecessary American practice, leave your son intact, he will enjoy making love more". God bless that man. Thankfully, I have all my body parts, as billions of other men do worldwide, and I have no "hygienic issues", give me a break, man and forget about this silliness.
They do it while your a baby cause it’s gonna be a bitch and a half to go through when your an adult cause if you get an erection which every male does the stitches will bust everytime and it’s gonna hurt bad asfk
It’s been decades and people are still pushing these myths about the “necessity” of circumcision! It’s a cometic surgery above all, becomes medical for phimosis, etc. It does not reduce std, hpv…
No I'm using common sense. Maybe we need more people to use it! UTIs and STD remain very common in the US. The same place that has high rates of STDs. Similar to many countries in Africa, who have high rates of circumcision yet sub-Saharan Africa has one of the highest rates of STIs & STD.
I got it done at 44 in Thailand. It costed around $800 which is very high. I had Phimosis. The recovery was the worst part. I was in pain for a few weeks! It took me almost a year to feel “normal”. However, I can’t be happier now. The best decision ever. If you have no problem with your foreskin, don’t do it.
A friend of mine actually tore his foreskin (I don't know how because he didn't tell me). But he got treated and it healed, then...he tore it again. Finally he just got circumcised. He's a lot happier. However, I am still an advocate for NOT circumcising unless there is a problem.
@meat3994 Yeah. He never told me, but I think it was because he had a tight foreskin and never pulled it back while masturbating when he was young. So when older he was pulling it back and was probably too vigorous and ...
I agree with that. Maybe he had a rougher intimate act. Foreskin is a super cool thing. In Serbia, these interventions are not charged. This is covered by health insurance. Circumcised penises are even uglier. That is my personal opinion.
@@glennsnare09 It was presumably the frenulum, not the foreskin. Tearing the frenulum (aka, snapping the banjo string) is actually an extremely common issue with uncut guys. Alternately, the guy might have had phimosis which does tend to cause tears in the foreskin. These issues arise with guys who have abnormal or underdeveloped tissues, they aren't an issue with regular guys who developed normally.
I got circumcised at 22 and I regret it. Having foreskin is definitely good. I didn't even have a problem retracting the skin. If i did have a problem like that, there are ways to stretch it.

Mine too. I was butchered as an adult purely because the prick of a consultant refused to give me the completely viable procedure I wanted. He was clearly incompetent because I've been left with no sensation. i can actually stick pins in it and not feel a thing!

@@HowieHoward-ti3dx - Are you doing an "un/official" survey or study - or are you just curious? You've been asking almost every man who says he's been circumsized this question.
I considered having mine done - we immigrated to Canada when I was 9. In the Philippines the procedure is usually done around age 12-13. I didn't get it done 😂 ... Considered it now that I'm in my 30s, but concerned with losing the sensation, like Kramer said 😂😂😂
I'd never get circumcised unless I had to for medical reasons. The foreskin keeps the glans more sensitive as it's not exposed to the air and rubbing against clothing all the time.
I'm 38 and I just got circumcised two weeks ago. The experience I feel will differ greatly for everyone. I watched a lot of these circumcision videos, and tried to brace myself for the recovery period. But what happened really surprised me. I've had absolutely zero pain or bleeding. I've never had to take a pain killer. I still wrap it everyday and am delicate with it, as it's tender, but aside from that there is no discomfort apart from the occasional, brief pinching sensation. I was told lumps might appear where veins begin to 'reroute' - didn't happen. After the procedure I took a nap and later went out to dinner. In the 5 days after surgery, it does throb a little when I walked too much. But I started gym after a week of rest. I wake up with morning wood and that feels... a little tight. But still, no pain. And I promise - I am a wuss when it comes to any kind of pain. Just, there is none. It's been such a breeze. So I guess, YMMV. Just might not be as bad as one is expecting. I am definitely counting my blessings though.
The absence of pain in itself could suggest a problem. I had a c-section and had very, very little surgical site pain. Like, upsurdly little. As soon as I could feel my legs again I was on my feet. Because the nerves were severed. Some sensation did return but there's a marked dulling in sensitivity between the skin around my c-section scar and the rest of my abdomen. My son is 7 years old.
@@franny5295 that’s good to point out! Luckily I don’t think that’s the case for me. Sexual activity feels much better without the foreskin - like 1.3x output.
If circumcision truly prevented STDs wouldn't we be seeing less cases in the US compared to Europe? The US actually has way more cases of sexually transmitted infections

Maybe you have better screening and data system as you say but here in the EU healthcare is free in most countries. Compared to the US where you have to pay for going to a doctor here in the European Union it is free so it's logical to say that more people will go to a doctor with an infection than in the US. So those who don't have money for healthcare, won't be reported and won't be in that database. @@Rchigo
This is unfortunately the reality of it....guys who got it done at birth or before having regular sex with their foreskin intact don't realize how much of their pleasure got snipped off to the trash bin. Adult men who get circ'd do it because they have infections or phimosis and cannot enjoy sex. Men with healthy foreskin never, never choose to get rid of it....because we know how much it helps to preserve the penis sensitivity and how many pleasure inducing nerve endings are in the foreskin that gets cut off. Unfortunately, a circumcised penis is still capable of achieving erection and ejaculation, so it still falls into the category of "no sexual function lost", as sexual function means being able to reproduce. However, a massive part of the "sexual enjoyment" has been forever lost.
Ignorant people often conflate MIC/RIC with adult circumcision. To be clear, there is a marked DIFFERENCE between circumcising the UNDELVEOPED penis of an infant/adolescent and circumcising the DEVELOPED penis of an adult. Mess with body parts that are not developed or fully developed and there will be retarded development and arrested functioning.
I got my son circumcised as a baby although he didn't need it ,the doctor was a expert and done thousands,he hardly flinched and showed little discomfort and recovery was very quick,,I only got it done as I myself had problems and had to get it done when I was around 3 and got his done as a precautionary thing,I always felt guilty about it but when I asked him as a yound man if he regretted having it done he said he is happy I did it
I think its funny how people will say kids shouldn't be allowed to change their gender surgically and mutilate children, which I agree with. Although many of those same people are all for mutilating male babies and not letting them decide for them selves at 18yo. Circumcision should be illegal until your 18yo or if its for an actual medical issue.
I was told in my childhood that I was circumcised. My father was not, so all I knew was that mine looked "different" than his. However, when I was older and in the locker room of the school gym or the health club, I ocasionally had friends who would remark "Oh, you're not circumcised huh?" And I always answer "Yes I am". But again, their's also looked very different than mine. I came to learn later than I was in fact circumcised but apparently only the end of the foreskin was cut and a bit on the diagnonal, so looser on the underside. Sometimes referred to as semi-cut. The frenulum, which is a very sensitive part, was left entirely intact. I have seen circumcised penises where the skin is pulled back very taut and the frenulum is entirely gone. Understanding that it is a sensitive spot, I appreciate the person that circumcised me with my future enjoyment in mind. 😂
There is LITTLE chance that a circ'd lad will end up with a circumcision resembling a circumcision resembling another male -- especially considering [1] the "skill" of the circumciser (or lack thereof) and [2] the "healing" process of the wound/s (or absence/interferences thereto, especially considering the circ wound is soaked in pee and poop for a few years afterward). In short, there are MORE variations resulting from male infant/adolescent circumcisions as compared to Intact lads. The common damages of male infant/adolescent circumcision (i.e., meatal stenosis, skin-bridges, horrible or misaligned circumcision scars [offsetting the Raphe], twisting/curving in any direction, early onset of E.D., etc.) have become "normalized" over the years. These risks are virtually absent when Adult circ occurs, and most who have had MIC/RIC will not admit to any of these normalized damages -- due to embarrassment, and some will ostracize others as a coping mechanism.
@@Aeson-np8tr Circumcisions of babies in hospitals are often done by inexperienced interns just to practice an easy surgery. Hardly ideal; they really don't know what they're doing with such a delicate procedure.

In any event, if you've ever watched actual male infant/adolescent circumcisions, the Obstetricians and Pediatricians are NOT "delicate" whatsoever and there are MANY resulting traumas to the suspensory ligaments, corpus cavernosa and/or corpus spongiosum during male infant/adolescent circumcisions [leading to the "normalized damages" I mentioned above] -- and NEVER any follow-ups with the male patients after 20-years or so to see how their penises developed. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the choice. At child birth I was circumcised. When I have an erection my skin is tight therefore during masturbation and sex, using lube is a must. I at least would like to have that sensation of some skin. Also, I feel like I don’t have the nerve sensitivity that I should since i go pretty much numb after extended sessions .
It is true that some sensitivity is lost in your penis, that in fact help you to last longer, which in some cases is good. I think your doctor cut you too short. I was let with little some skin so that I can still play with it and really need to use lubricant. But also, if that is too much of problem for you, there is reconstructive surgery that would help you to recover some foreskin . You should check with an urologist. Good luck man!
When a man chooses this for himself, who cares? The problem is when babies are born inducing them with unnecessary pain is absolutely vile and ridiculous.

Studies show that circumcision as an adult has ZERO effect on cancer rates. At best there MAY be some lesser risk if done at birth, but even that is highly debatable.
Berkley's most recent "study" pertaining to Penile Cancer in America determined that MIC/RIC is irrelevant to penile caner: "The etiology of penile cancer is poorly understood, with neonatal circumcision being one of the few recognized non-demographic risk factors... Neonatal circumcision was inversely associated with invasive carcinoma but not carcinoma in situ (CIS), and the observed association with invasive carcinoma was weakened appreciably when the analysis was restricted to subjects with no history of phimosis. Other factors positively associated with invasive carcinoma or CIS or both were *_injury to the penis, cigarette smoking, physical inactivity and, to a lesser extent, genital warts and other infections or inflammation of the penis._*"

Even before the Internet, there was "advice" available about aftercare and resulting occurrences/pain... Then again, they tell cystoscopy, catheter and kidney-stents patients that there's little pain associated with those procedures. I am 63 an got circumcised a few months ago. I went to a urologist for a prostate exam and he discovered that a phimosis was starting to develop, therefore he recommended a circumcision. I got it done, and aside from the temporary inconvenience of having to stay at home avoiding any heavy work and the night erections that would wake me up at night because of the stiches, I would say it was not a mayor inconvenience. It has not affected my libido and in fact I think it has been somewhat enhanced believe it or not. It took a litle over a month to get completely healed. I don't think it was too much of a big deal.
Surely, you are not comparing the circumcision of a developed adult penis to the circumcision of an undeveloped infant/adolescent penis; and, surely, you are not comparing the sensitivity of a newly circ'd 63 y/o penis to the 20 y/o who was circ'd at birth. 🤦♂ You would have to wait until you are 83 in order to compare to a 20 y/o who was circ'd at birth; at that point, what's the point of comparing.
@@Aeson-np8tr I am certain that a circumsized adult does not remember the possible psychological and/or physical trauma he might have gone trough when he was a baby. I'm a medic, and I'd like to say that if you have a very tight foreskin (e.g. it hurts on masturbation or during sex and splits often) - then yeah, get a circumcision done. But rather than a traditional circumcision, think about a partial circumcision. Why? The foreskin contains Meissner's corpuscles, which are nerve endings involved in fine-touch sensitivity. They are most concentrated in the "ridged band", where the inner and outer foreskin layers meet, and least concentrated in the smooth inner layer of the foreskin. So you see, the foreskin is a specialised tissue that is packed with nerves and stretch receptors that give you intense pleasure and joy during sex/masturbation. The other parts of the penis have nerve receptors too, but they are most concentrated in the foreskin - and that is what you will be removing. A lot of people use scaremongering to get you to have a foreskin removed - like repeated urinary infections (actually, urinary infections are generally rare in men). Others will over-emphasise the risk of penile cancer (which is a very uncommon cancer) - and whilst there is a greater risk with tight foreskins, it does NOT mean that if you have tight foreskin you're definitely going to get it. As for Peyronie's disease - what is said in this video is, I'm afraid, wrong. Peyronie's and Phimosis (the medical name for tight foreskin) are two SEPARATE conditions. Yes, some people have both, but one does not cause the other - they are not related. Peronie's is basically a bend in the penis (usually the shaft) caused by scar tissue on one side of the penis. The cause is not clearly known, but most doctors will say it's caused by trauma or injury (like vigorous sexual activity). And finally, about hygiene - many people with tight foreskins can pull their foreskins back when their dicks are limp. If that's the case with you - no problem - just pull it back in the shower, and clean it every day - like everyone else with non-tight foreskins. Do this - then, no problem with hygiene. Don't forget to pull it forward over the head though (never leave the foreskin retracted back - it can strangle the penis for those with tight foreskins). But if yours is very tight that you can't even get it back even when limp, yes, then hygiene may be an issue and worthwhile considering circumcision. But remember, if you can see the whole length of the slit you pee out of when you pull the foreskin back - you may just need a partial circumcision and a full one if you can't. I hope that helps some of you. I just know quite a few patients who regretted the circumcision because of the lessening of intense sexual feeling in some. And of course, some people like the look of circumcised penises but there are equally a lot of people who also prefer those with skin and think it looks nicer! Thanks to Pete for being open and honest about his experience and of course, brave for sharing sensitive stuff.
Dude, mothers have these discussions with other mothers and non-mother female friends/co-workers about the "statuses" of their sons' and partners' penises ALL THE TIME... Why should this be considered a "sensitive" or taboo topic for males to discuss openly as well?
Actually, there's an alternative to circumcision. Rather than remove it, can go for prepuceplasty where your foreskin is preserved. It cuts the tight ring in the foreskin and stitched back differently to heal. You'll be able to pull back your foreskin easily for cleaning and sex after that
I got my for the same reason phomsis last week, but the pain is really bad it’s day 6 . I return to work tomorrow kinda nervous about it. I would not do it if it wasn’t a medical emergency because of the pain I think this would have prevented if had it done then I was a baby. The European mentality about is wrong it’s saying people should not be vaccinated it prevents serious pain and discomfort later in life.
Meta-analysis of 46 studies found that circumcision has no or minimal adverse effect on sexual function, sensation, or pleasure, with some finding improvements. A consensus from physiological and histological studies was that the glans and underside of the shaft, not the foreskin, are involved in neurological pathways mediating erogenous sensation. Brian J Morris et al. Sex Med. 2020 Dec.
While the conditions you list are certainly medical issues, there is absolutely no truth in the "personal hygiene" issue. In countries where circumcision is unusual, parents teach children to pull the foreskin back and clean the area in the shower or bath. Growing up in the UK, I never met anyone who had a personal hygiene issue with their foreskin that didn't also have phimosis. Phimosis may need circumcision, but can also be corrected using stretching exercises. Once the foreskin can be fully retracted from the glans, the phimosis is considered resolved. Peyronie's Disease, as you note, is not related to the foreskin, but to plaque that occurs as a result of an injury. The risk of penile cancer is somewhat heightened in men who have unresolved phimosis, but not in men who have a retractable foreskin and practice normal hygiene. A much bigger risk is HPV, which can be prevented now with a vaccine in pre-teen youth. From the American Cancer Society: "Penile cancer is rare in North America and Europe. It's diagnosed in fewer than 1 man in 100,000 each year and accounts for fewer than 1% of cancers in men in the United States. ". It is more common in Asia, South America and Africa where hygiene is less well maintained.

(And _no,_ I am not talking about using a laser instead of a surgical knife or circumcision device.) Why then I am not confident that your physician(s) had satisfactory understanding -- or even knowledge -- of these?
The problem with that is by the time you are old enough to make that decision, circumcision has become a much more painful and riskier procedure. That's why boy babies are circumcised right after birth. The procedure then is much easier and problems from it are very low. Sure, you don't get to make the choice, but how many things in life happen without your consent?
@@shyman99 I assume your question is rhetorical. I have never heard your enumerated consequences before. And as a 62 year old cut man, that has not happened to me. The consequences of not getting circumcised are a number of nasty infections unless you keep yourself absolutely clean.

I've been trying foreskin restoration for the past few years. Slow process but some progress at least.

It should not be done on every baby boys, it's their private part, they should have consent to their private parts, every boy has the right to live with an intact, non-mutilated penis!!
If you are in need of or considering getting it done, I urge you to look into a procedure called "preputioplasty". Basically it solves the issue with a tightness and lets you keep your skin too.
You haven't mentioned the most important costs. The loss of sensitivity is the biggest one. And it's irreversable even if you get your forskin recreated, the glans sensitivity will never get back. And it will affect your sexual life, as you will need more stimulation and more time to get orgasm. The other cost depends on who performed your circumcission. It is not always a plastic surgeon. A regular surgeon will not care if they leave you with a large scar near the base of the glans and skin overgrowing your glans. So you may consider another surgery after being circumcised. Depending on what kind of circumcission you had, you may experience more or less pain around your scar due to skin tightening and tugging during sexual intercourse. You may consider using condoms, but they will decrease your experience even more. I had my circumcission done because of phimosis, but I wasn't informed by my doctor about different ways of treatment. But with my present knowledge and experience, I would have never agreed to circumcission and tried any possible option to remove my phimosis without being scarred for life.
I have phimosis as a late teen guy. I’m going to let the doctors know and that I want to get laser circumcised on may 3rd. I have hypersensitivity too so I’m pretty nervous. Any advice man?
@@MiniDiwi Well, don't let them do it. If I knew what circumision is before my surgery, I would never have agreed. Force your doctors so that they tell about the alternative, non-invasive ways of treating phimosis. It may be expensive, but should be way cheaper than plastic surgery after sloppy circumsion (not to mention finding a surgeon capable of such surgery). Circumcision in case of phimosis is the easy way out. If it is the only thing your doctors have to say, than I advise you get away from them. If the only treatment they know is removal, then it doesn't speak well of them. Also don't let them give you any bullshit that it's the only way or it's better with hygene: it's 21st century and everyone has a shower once a day, there are cosmetics only for men. Imagine they want to cut off your ear only because your ear canal is overgrown. Would you let them do it? For people like them male body has no value. They don't care how you're going to look like, how you're going to feel, will you have additional problems in you sex life. They just want to get it done. Don't let them do it. Look for doctors knowing other ways.
Yes, because they should be allowed to make the choice for themselves as an adult. It's their body and their penis. Therefore it's their choice to be circumcised or not.
I'm a medically trained technician who earlier in my career, assisted physicians in infant circumcisions. Those procedures on infants were rather straight forward and (typically from what limited experience I had in assisting), didn't include the use of scalpels or cutting of the foreskin. Of course this depends on the patient and there are, or course, more aggressive medical procedures for those atypical situations (phimosis for example) where cutting may be medically necessary. The typical, normal, or more common, procedure on infants that have yet to develop fully, involves the use of a bell-shaped 'cone' of varying sizes that's picked out accordingly, and fitted over the head (glans) of the penis. The foreskin is pulled over afterwards, allowing the foreskin to extend out to the normally relaxed position over this 'bell'. The bell is constructed from hard plastic with a channel or ridge along the rim of the dome. This rim 'channel' (much like those on the rims of plastic plant pots from your nursery) is where the physician ties a 'string' of suturing material tightly around the foreskin and in the ridge/channel, thereby constricting and creating a stricture blocking the blood flow in the foreskin tissue. Much like when your arm or leg 'goes to sleep' and feels numb, that restricting of the blood flow going into the foreskin tissue, results in necrosis (or tissue death) where it eventually falls away, leaving the healed 'scar ring' that most circumcised guys have stared at their whole lives (and probably given a lot of thought to). All this by way of a question... Just curious whether this type procedure is used on fully developed adults who've elected to undergo circumcision at a much older age. I'm assuming given your description, the procedure you underwent was more medically aggressive? Thank you for sharing such a personal experience to help others... Cheers! 🍻
I am 21, and My foreskin only opens up to head but below that it’s attached like a permanent glue. And the country where I live it’s pretty embarrassing to talk about and I suffered a lot of mental health issues and also I have career defining exam in next year February but I finally told my father and in few weeks I am going to see a urologist
Michael, the "cutting" (or removal) of the foreskin is admittedly done by varied methods ("clamping" also inflicts immeasurable pain), most anesthetics are not given proper time to work prior to the procedure (15-20 minutes), you omitted the ripping of the foreskin from the glans and there is no other wound that is soaked in urine/feces for weeks/months. Evidence of "Necrosis" is often revealed upon a healed circ'd penis (the dark circ-line)... The common damages of MIC (i.e., meatal stenosis, skin-bridges, horrible/misaligned circ scars, twisting/curvatures, nerve pain, damages to the suspensory ligaments, corpus cavernosa and/or spongiosum, painful erections, early onset of E.D., etc.) have become "normalized"; and, Urologists are 4x more likely to see circ'd patients related to the damages of MIC/RIC than they are likely to see Intact male patients for medical reasons. Since 1996, the American Academy of Pediatrics' FULL reports, inclusive of its 2012 full report, reaffirmed in 2018, has been suggesting/recommending that MALE INFANTS AND CHILDREN BE LEFT INTACT so that THEY (the male person possessing the subject penis) can make the decision when/after THEY reach adulthood (age 18) and THEY can sign the surgery consent form themselves. HIS BODY = HIS DECISION.

What a weird thing to hear. In Malaysia, the cost for adult laser circumcision is only 59 pounds, with the normal/traditional method it will cost around 93 pounds but with stapler, it costs around 289 pounds. The stapler costs around 16 pound to order so clinics will order in bulk, and they come in several sizes so they have to determine your size, bla bla, and that’s why it’s the most expensive option. Oh, all the prices I mentioned already included consultation and medication. That you’d get charged 900++ pounds in the UK is just wild, using the traditional cutting method even.
Anatomy, Histology, & Physiology demonstrate prepuce foreskin is inundated with neurovascular tracts (courses of nerves & blood vessels) continuous with the rest of genitals & body. Prepuce foreskin has abundant (1) specialized sensory nerve endings from neurons that transmit tactile & other autonomic sensory information, & (2) blood vessels (arteries, capillaries, & veins) with nitric oxide producing endothelium glycocalyx. Penis erection mechanisms including visual, genital tactile, facial & other bodily tactile & stimulations are all mediated by parasympathetic autonomic sensory neurotransmissions. Sensory neurotransmissions are not all consciously felt or perceived, & those consciously perceived & sensed, may or may not be pleasurable. For example, prepuce foreskin sensors include proprioception, so males have corporal awareness of prepuce foreskin position. Genital tactile reflex erection mechanisms are mediated via sensory input by multiple types of specialized nerve endings, including Meisner’s, & most penis sensory nerve endings are concentrated in prepuce foreskin. Similarly, the most concentrated area of sensory nerve endings in arms & hands is in skin of fingertips. Visual erotic stimulated erection mechanism is irrelevant to circumcision, & becomes less prominent as men age. Genital touch sensory reflex mechanisms become gradually & progressively more important for parasympathetic sexual function, erections, as men age. Because these sensory mechanisms are autonomic, they are not necessarily felt as pleasurable, or even noticed or perceived sensations. A significant portion of genital tactile sensory reflexive erection mechanisms is permanently cut off with circumcision, an irrefutable physiological fact. Because people don't necessarily consciously feel or perceive autonomic sensations, males may not detect or notice loss of such sensations even if their penis was circumcised in adulthood. Lack of conscious notice or perception does not diminish or negate significance of nerve ending sensory detection & neuro-transmission of autonomic sensory information. Also, permanent loss of moist mucosal glans head & inner prepuce surfaces removes sensory capability with permanent air & clothing exposure & dryness. The nitric oxide production capacity of prepuce foreskin blood vessels is irreversibly removed when the prepuce is cut off. Decreased nitric oxide producing vasculature often gradually becomes significant as men age. Circumcision induced deficit of nitric oxide producing vasculature can become noticeable erectile dysfunction (ED), but not always, depending on the individual. In part, because United States has of the greatest prevalences for circumcised penises of advanced industrialized countries, United States is the greatest consumer of ED drugs (Viagra, Cialis) & devices (penis pumps), including all Europe, where circumcision is uncommon. Nitric oxide from penis blood vessels initiates, maintains & intensifies penis erection. Foreskin arteries, capillaries & veins produce & release nitric oxide into penis circulation with sexual activity. Many males with intact (uncut) penises can attain erections & some can achieve orgasmic climax & ejaculation solely via prepuce foreskin stimulation alone. During sexual activity, motion stimulated foreskin blood vessel endothelium releases nitric oxide into proximally moving blood. Abundant study reports & medical advice does not negate natural anatomy, histology & physiology. All neurons, specialized nerve endings, & nitric oxide producing arteries, capillaries, & veins, & sensory mucosal mucosal interface with sex partners all contribute to parasympathetic erection capabilities, & are eliminated with circumcision. Removing these components of parasympathetic erection contributors is not usually significant in younger men. Missing foreskin components can become penis erection deficits as men age. Adequate sensory neurotransmission & nitric oxide production & release is required for parasympathetic male sexual functioning. Males whose penis was circumcised as infants have no reference point required to make an experience based comparison about sensitivity. Those whose penis was circumcised as adults do not necessarily notice circumcision induced sensory deficits because autonomic sensations are not usually consciously perceived. Orgasmic sexual climactic & ejaculatory responses are facilitated & mediated by sympathetic neurologic pathways, & not parasympathetic. Most "research" studies & medical advice address & report only sympathetic response mechanisms including sexual satisfaction & climactic orgasmic intensity. Medical industry does not address, discuss, or report how circumcision may effect parasympathetic autonomic sexual mechanisms as males age.

Okay so I have a serious question, how much has this affected your ability to feel sensation on it? Apparently circumcision amputates most of the nerves, and severely reduces the amount of "plea sure" you can experience. Is this true at all?
false. 101% false, next question.@@jtl-en4yx

Sounds like you had an easier time than me, I was uncomfortable for about a week.

Notwithstanding, MIC/RIC has reduced to 54% since 1996 -- the American Academy of Pediatrics' FULL reports, inclusive of its 2012 full report, reaffirmed in 2018, has been suggesting/recommending that MALE INFANTS AND CHILDREN BE LEFT INTACT so that THEY (the male person possessing the subject penis) can make the decision when/after THEY reach adulthood (age 18) and THEY can sign the surgery consent form themselves.

I got circumcised nearly 7 years ago at the age of 42 because of my tight foreskin.
It costs me nothing here in germany because it's a medical issue and it's covered by Krankenkasse (medical insurance).
The only thing I regret is, that I didn't made it earlier.
I had this procedure when I was 23. If my parents had shown me how to retract the skin when I was young, I probably didn't need it but as I got older the skin didn't retract on its own so when I had intimate relations, like the skin didn't shrink , it split and bled and it ended intimate relations and it was painful.
The foreskin is actually attached to the tip of the glans generally until puberty starts, so pulling it back when you're young isn't an option.

I dated a guy who get circumcised when he was 23. He said it was so painful everytime he had to pee for almost two weeks. He said when he got a stiffy it caused the stitches to snap, he told me that if he had known how painful it really was he would never have done it. I was lucky, I got my snip snip at birth.
Even before the Internet, there was "advice" available about aftercare and resulting occurrences/pain... Then again, they tell cystoscopy, catheter and kidney-stents patients that there's little pain associated with those procedures. At 23, his brain is {presumably} developed and he should have been (1) able to sign the consent form himself, (2) able to process what was going on and (3) given pain meds.

Urologists are 4x more likely to see circ'd patients related to the damages of MIC/RIC than they are likely to see Intact male patients for medical reasons.
The recovery hurts like living hell
Definitely not pleasant

Circumcision doesn’t necessarily need to remove the foreskin. You have the option of having a “dorsal slit.”

The problem with that is by the time you are old enough to make that decision, circumcision has become a much more painful and riskier procedure. Why did you HAVE to get circumcised?
Which type of circumcision causes the least scar pain?
@@tupinambaferreira347 I'd say no circumcision. But if you really need it done, just leave as much of the foresking as possible.
I live on a ranch. Hmm. Perhaps I should get my male dog, cow, pigs, and goats circumcised too. Makes sense, doesn't it?
Today I learnt that a lot of guys are extremely vocal against circumcision 😂
Yes, because they should be allowed to make the choice for themselves as an adult. It's their body and their penis. Therefore it's their choice to be circumcised or not.
Idk how that’s surprising. Surgically altering your bits, especially since most are newborns, is pretty wild
Cheers! 🍻

In Malaysia, the cost for adult laser circumcision is only 59 pounds, with the normal/traditional method it will cost around 93 pounds but with stapler, it costs around 289 pounds. so which means My German Friend is Uncircumcised? 😂😅
