Looking at the JAC pack closely, we see the front has a large opening pocket that can be used to store additional gear such as tools and magazines. The top of the JAC pack also has attachment points for bungee retention to keep all the gear inside the pouch secured.
The front of the JAC pack also has a large loop area to attach any patches or identifiers on the rear of your pack. The lower portion under the loop field also has five rows of laser cut molle that you can use to attach additional pouches, GP pouches, or placards to the bottom portion of the pack.
Moving to the bottom, there are also two molle slots that can be used to connect in a tourniquet, sleeping bag, or any other gear that can be attached via lanyards. The side pack bungee also connects in at the bottom of the JAC pack, allowing the user to cinch down the pack to keep all of the contents secured.
The zippers on the side also go down fully to flay the bag open but the bungees offer a natural stopping point so the bag just opens normally from the top. But you can also easily overpower the bungee to open the zipper fully, allowing you to flay the pack completely open. This allows someone using the pack as a medical pouch to have the bag open fully and have full access to all of their medical equipment.
Moving to the rear of the pack, we see a full tegris rear panel that adds a high level of rigidity to the pack while not adding any sort of significant weight. The tegris panel also has a series of slots and keyways that are used for both the fixed and removable configuration.
When you purchase the JAC pack from Javlin Concepts, you have multiple purchasing options such as color and connection methods. You can choose to have the JAC pack in the fixed, removable, or both configurations.
The fixed configuration attaches the JAC pack to your rear plate carrier bag in a standard legacy configuration. In this method, the JAC pack offers teammates a way to access additional gear but the wearer themselves would be unable to access the gear without removing the plate carrier.
The removable configuration offers a way to expand the functionality of the user in a dramatic way from both the single soldier or civilian use perspective. The rear pack is now easily removable by disconnecting the waist and shoulder straps, allowing the user to restock or have full access to all of your additional gear in the rear pack.
The Javlin Concepts A-Jac or B-Jac with the JAC pack in the fixed configuration offers versatility and foresight in terms of functionality that you just don’t see anywhere else.
I highly recommend this pack and the entire Javlin Concepts suite of gear.

The production value of your videos is improving exponentially. I like the B roll of the website. Just started the video. I personally enjoy long videos. Some people do not. So thanks for an extended video.
thanks for all the input as always!

Bought Javelin Concepts plate carrier based on your prior video. I've had for about a month. So far, it's really nice
That jac pack really does some cool stuff to it!
your videos are getting better and better all the time.
Lol appreciate it. I certainly have fun with it
You know I love me some removable packs. I actually think I could modify the shoulder pads on my carrier to accept those clips relatively easily. I’ll draw up some plans.
I really love how the placement of the buckles ensures the straps won’t work their way into your neck. I’ve had that happen with the Flatpack and Hitchhike. I could probably even make the mod work with the Flatpack I already have.
You’re getting my creative juices flowing Walsh. I’m going to have to prototype.
OooOoo well I'm interested. keep me posted!
-Walsh
Informative as usual walsh, you should also take a look at the Arbor Arms Tradesman Pack, it's bigger and can be configured to a specific mission requirement
The whole purposes Javlin’s is small to be as minimalistic as possible. All nonessentials are stripped down, but it can still hold hydration, food, mags, and extra gear.
If you’re wanting to go big, use a different company
I’m not sure I can trust someone without a “trustworthy” sign.
Truuuuth booogs on that one!

I Love how easy this ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxvAj3godqGAIP5rApM1laH767JGtPG1-h carrier is to adjust from my friend to me taking turns holding the baby! It provides great support on my back too! This has definitely made shopping easier! I always get asked where I get it too!
why does the baby have no arms or legs? I think you may be carry rocks but didn't realize it.
I think this post was satire about shooting at Babies? I don't know. it's very stupid.

This is amazing (and a little hilarious)... Here's why I think so: Way back when (2013), I bought a pack from a company that used to go by the name of Ares Armor, and that pack was called The 12 Pack. I had modified it to be removable, similar to this one. A couple differences were that I put additional QASM buckles on either side of the cummerbund so I didn't have an additional belt and buckle out front to pinch me when squatting. Also, I had found that the shoulder straps from the pack would sometimes slide off either side of the shoulder straps on my carrier, a real pain when it went neckside. So I sewn in some hook material on one strap and loop on the other. And here's the best part. After checking out an ancient article found on Emdom's site about Military Morons, I decided to make a sling myself that integrated into the plate carrier really similar to the one you "teasered" at the end. I guess I'm writing a novel here...long story short, I used that sling for years, but recently gave it up, cuz...yknow, it's a single point sling. Glad to see some company streamlining something like this with modern materials. I do hope that these guys offer a full zip open clamshell option though. Thanks again for the great vids, guys? Or... idk if there's a team or if each member is doing all the recording and editing for themselves 🤷♂️
Haha an editing team?? I wish. We do all the editing on our own videos.
Thanks for sharing your story about the previous gear you used!

Nice detailed review.
You mentioned it and they actually have Jac pack adapters on their site now for the removable shoulder part. Your plate bags just need loop velcro on the bottom of shoulder straps.
yea but it should be noted that some carrier straps have some different angles and it may do weird stuff.
I'd certainly be willing to try it for this pack setup though!
-Walsh
I got this as a Christmas gift from Javlin’s owner’s brother, and dang I love it! I feel like it’s the perfect size.
I'm a big fan too. I even moved my whole duty setup to this carrier.
I love Javelin’s pac. It is well made and well thought out.
I did the same thing with the Haley flatpack+ and piggyback straps. I cannabilised the chest attachment buckles to hold the bottom straps onto the pack. Ive run it for a year and like it. The only thing I didn't like was the cost and extra parts I had to get to make it work.
yea I did a hitch hike set up too on that video. It works but it gets a little cluttered. I eventually removed it from my SPC for a simpler setup.
-Walsh
This is very similar to the Haley strategic flat pack and flat pack plus, and the arbor arms tradesmen pack. I use the flat pack plus as my in between my mystery ranch pack and no pack at all. I modified my mystery ranch 80 L pack to fit a Haley strategic flatpack plus on top in the same position as the mystery ranch proprietary day pack. The tradesmen is very expensive and I do want to get my hands on one eventually because of the quality. The plat pack plus is cheaper by 100 and some dollars, but you need to reinforce the eyelids on the top shoulder pads and the waste strap, as well as run an extra stitch along the main pouch zipper if you’re going to overload it. The tradesmen pack is also very nice and can be turned into just a standard style backpack as well as the flat pack can as well. After seeing this one it is kind of small but if small is all you need then go for it.
Looks really well built
Wow, multi-use & removable back-pak attached 2 plate carrier. Gr8 concept 2 attached 4 bigger bak-pak on longer mission, or prepare different bakpak 4 different mission. Thx 4 sharing on Utube.
Got me an idea how to configure my pack. Thanks!
So based on your review of the GBRS assault belt. the belt sucks but the shirts are quality? Love that you don't shill like most. Your review on the belt had me rethink my purchase and wound up trading it in to get a subsecond belt.
The GBRS shirts do seem nice. I have a hoodie that's nice quality but ... I don't want it lol

@@ThinLineDefenseCo Yeah i kind of veered from spending any more money on them, Most of their "technology" is derivative of the Ferro Bison tegris and Eagle Industries reverse hook n loop. plus or minus minor deviations. I know TLD already made a revies on the FCPC v5 but i was hoping you would show us where it ranks on your list of to PCs.
I actually haven't played with that one! I need to add it to the list
Looks like the removable option would work well with the Haley Thorax similar to their piggy back straps
Instructions? Well it is about time. I think I'm going to need to figure out how to connect this to my K19.
And uh...... removable all day and twice on Sunday.
I don’t know… You like this better than the AMAP III?
If you run the top 2 buckles of the AMAP (shoulder buckles) and add the waist strap from this, don’t you have the best of both?? 🤔🤷🏻♂️ I don’t have either bag, so I’ll defer to you, lol.
So 11b, fixed packs are really only good for breachers, no one else likes them almost everyone in a feildcraft/bush/woods environment prefers a assualt pack
It’s a smaller Arbor Arms Tradesman Pack
EOD Fish has a review on it, I really like the design of both AA and JC
OooO I hadn't seen that one but love the Arbor Arms guys too
@@ThinLineDefenseCo I love my tradesmen pack, but I would seriously consider using the smaller pack for simple day operations
@@austin6417 yeah the tradesmen is a big large
Those two packs are quite different.
What would be your recommended bladder for this? I was looking at source tactical, but idk if it'll fit.
Looks it able to attach to MCR, howevver does the lower strap block the war belt?
I have an AC1 carrier! Do you think I can run this pack on it? If not can you recommend a flat pack like this for it! Thank in advance!
Can this attach to any carrier or does it have to be the same company? Thanks
Amazing video
If they made the shoulder straps long enough you could flip the female buckles that are normally used for front placards on a plate carrier and then connect the pack straps to those. Then switch your front placard to g hooks and slip that into the webbing.
Maybe agilite will do that 🤔. Free idea. No patent on my end just please make it.
Oh look....defense mechanisms did just that
I like the Jac pack a little better than the Agilite AMAP III...
My haley flatpack plus comes off my PC the same way and it will carry more
I can’t find the Jac Pack on the website. Is it discontinued?😢
I believe so. They're doing a rework on it from what I understand
Sold!!!’
Why can't the removable version be used with a different plate carrier?
well it CAN....it's just that the connection method on the shoulder straps need the straps in a certain position and design. Some carriers would work...and some wouldn't. It would be a lot of guess work to find out what would work though.
-Walsh
How does the Jac pack compare to the Agilite AMAP III? Which complete PC & Pack combo do you prefer between Agilite's and Javelin's?
oOoOO super hard question. The amap III is a fullsize pack that can attach to a carrier. I use that one day to day and would likely just sling it over my carrier
the Jac pack is a truely expandable system for carrying more on your carrier in an amazing ecosystem.
both are fantastic but fill two slightly different roles. If you want a pack for the carrier... jak pack... if you want a pack you can use but then sometimes throw it on a carrier... amap III
it also really depends which base you have. if you have Javlin, get the jak pack... agilite k19? get the amap
the ecosystems just play well within themselves
hope that helps!
-walsh
Thanks!! Appreciate the feedback. I'm starting from scratch, so both setups look great. Ultimately, the Agilite setup is much cheaper, so I'll probably go that way since I am on a tight budget.
3st I've been waiting for this video
When did Joe Rogen start a tactical channel?
Are there not PC shoulder buckles that would fit, sold elsewhere? :( :(
Javlin sells bjac adapters that .... could work. It would depend on your setup. But I hope we see a way to integrate shoulder buckles into more carriers.
-Walsh
@@ThinLineDefenseCo Hmm may work. I have the MEPC and dont want to switch ecosystems just for a bag. But I deff dig this bag
Anyone know the dimensions?
You keep talking about "civilian" uses. You mean like "emergency" beer?
hahah you get it. And I should have done some test fit.
-Walsh
1nd!
Don't mean to disrespect, but it looks awefully complicated to just take a pack/back from the back of a PC, I use a smersh and I only need a couple of webbing straps, two metal hooks and attach them to a couple of D-rings to get the bag, put it in front of me and turn it to access the content. I don't even need to detach it if I don't want to. A third long webbing strap and I can increase the retention to my body. It works with any PC or similar pack like haley's one
Interesting! I'll have to take a look at it. And it's pretty simple I just went over allllll the details even though it may not wholly apply to you. I'll check that one out, thanks for the suggestion!
-Walsh
@@ThinLineDefenseCo ua-cam.com/video/AtSuZk1Kzsw/v-deo.html you can check this video, it's just an explanation on how to set up the whole Smersh, but from the second on the link, you can see how he manages to get the pack in front of him, doing the same is just a matter of finding a way to attach the hooks in the same way to any molle platform, D-rings, paracord, shock-cord... it's up to the user, I can do the same with a Haley flat backpack and with a longer webbing you can tight it to your body and release it in an instant if you use any buckle
Agilite all day long peeps!!!!!!!!!
