More about secondary motion being the volition of the planet and primary motion being... (?) “where they’re dragged to”.
In a useful manner for our charts, what is the existential meaning of this dichotomy (being pulled in alternate directions). What does this actually mean for the volition of the planets in our charts?

I am so disappointed the audio is so bad, no can do. But the one thing that I did get sort of amazed me. I did not realize, for some crazy reason, that bars and saloons fell into the 5th house. How perfect for a long-term recovering alcoholic (long time drinking, long time in recovery now). Would love to see you do a new one!

you'll see emphasis on the 5th house in charts of ppl who party a lot, so it follows that you'll see it with addiction issues sometimes. that's because the 5th house rules fun. not all addictions are about fun, but alcoholism usually starts that way. there are of course other ways the 5th house can show up, but i have noticed it in the charts of people who's priority is the party... often at the cost of things like work, personal growth, and health.

On the issue that “planets in succedent houses are not looking at the cadent house but rather turned away from the angular house” that seems like a feature of a Fixed house.
