This video shows you how to install an engine knock sensor on your 2007-2013 Acura MDX. A knock sensor monitors your vehicle’s engine for unusual pulsations caused by things such as engine knock. If a sensor is damaged or malfunctioning, the engine may run poorly, inefficiently, or only in a low speed safe mode, and may also trigger diagnostic codes.

Great video my 2 questions are what was the point from the beginning of video to 3:20 is it necessary and how long real time lapse does this take, and I guess I’ve heard about replacing the harness or connection to the knock sensor is that necessary also
