This is crazy… I got baptized with this church yesterday, and I woke up today at 3am feeling weird , and saw this video thank you, I’m done with that church
I got baptized today by them, I wasn't being rude I did it for Jesus Christ. They have a book of worship songs singing to mother God. Feels like a hybrid of the Catholic Church
I grew up in the church with Jeremy. Just remember that when Jesus was going to be crucified, many “false witnesses” where brought before him. We should see the same for 2nd coming Christ. Don’t let a guy deceive you. If it’s in the Bible believe it and find the answer there.

They just came to my door in Auckland, New Zealand. Two lovely ladies who sat and talked with me about the bible. As soon as I expressed interest, they rang their 'overseer' to come baptise me in my house. This Korean man who appeared within 10mins (very weird) walked right in and made himself comfortable in my home before even introducing himself to me. Pulled out paper work to 'register' me into the 'Book of Life', got the bucket ready for baptism. I said why do I need to register with paper work? Made me feel very uneasy and although some rang true with me, I am very thankful the Holy Spirit guided me to ask them to leave.
Similar has happened to me but it was my Older sister who was baptized into the church. She called me one day (she was drunk) and told me that they believe Jesus has come for a second time) that alone made me feel real uneasy. Months go by and they come by my house and teach me certain things which I actual found a big interest because I don't know much about the bible. It wasn't until they invited me to their church home and had bible study and the Pastor walked in aswell felt very very pressured to get baptized even when I knew very little about their faith. Decided to do my own research and felt very uneasy about them not teaching me valuable things that they should of told me (because they couldn't share anymore until I was baptized) im actually happy my sister told me about them believing the second coming has already happened because it made me want to find out the truth. Everything with that church or cult seems very secretive and very sly in the way that they move. I'm glad I was led back to Jesus Christ and his truths. We really do have to do our own research. Do our own bible study etc so glad I did! All Glory To God 🙏🏾❤️
Was walking around NYC and was approached by two WMSCOG members. My naïve ass was raised fundamentalist and I thought I could have some fun 'winning' because I knew the Bible forwards and backwards. Minutes later they had me in a private room basically interrogating me and beautiful-minding how Jesus was the Mother on whiteboard and page-flipping so much it made my head spin. The whiteboard looked like a spiderweb and I kept trying to ask them direct questions which they would never answer except with canned answers. Couldn't get them to go off script and around the 1 hour mark I was feeling really uncomfortable and basically had to barge my way out the door and give them the hand in order to leave. Scary experience and taught me a lot about playing around with cults. These people were nice at first, but the general vibe was way off in the room and I felt kind of bullied and like they were trying to program me rather than talk to me.
I had a guy that started confusing me and sad to say for a bit I actually was buying what he was telling me. They take scripture completely out of context to fit their narrative that Jesus already came back and that they are Zion meaning the true church of God. That we have God the mother as well. The scary part is they show you in scripture. They literally just flip back and forth through text taking everything out of context. They don’t read passages. Just verses. Then flip to another verse. This was when I was a new believer. I was still in that milk stage. The guy told me if I didn’t keep the Passover I wasn’t saved. Recently He reached out to me again telling me I had to keep the Passover. This time was different because I grew in my relationship to the Lord. I told him why he was wrong and showing him with scripture. Unfortunately he is blinded. Along with most of the people in that “church”. They believe they are the one true church and everyone practicing anything else isn’t saved. I was like buddy you cannot tell me I’m not saved. God gave me his Holy Spirit
Hi, we had the same experience. I will never forget about God the mother they shared, and the passover. And that Jesus' 2nd coming has done. They shared a lot that confused me.
Its called teaching sermins, ofcourse theres studying on which verses are used as itd be stupid to refference a verse that has different context😹its about direct learning into gods prophecies and laws as thats whats essential for salvation

I was a member for 8 months after my mom passed. I was hoodwinked because I was grieving......but Jesus, the true king saved me and my children by opening our eyes to the deception of these false teachers. They twist the word of God and to the unlearned it sounds so good, but once you see what the scriptures are really saying, you become mad because you understand the lies you were fed. But I am free today because of the grace and mercy of Jesus. He is the living word and you cannot twist him!!!!! He knew my heart was seeking and rescued me from these vultures with their loud “We love you!!” and fake prayers. Jesus loves me and opened my eyes to the scriptures. There is freedom in Jesus, no chains like the ones you will carry if you follow this evil organization.🌱
Can you tell me what made you think they were twisting? And what did open your eyes can you share with everyone so that everyone can hear out and change Or look out?
My wife joined this organization a couple years into our marriage to say I was against it would be understating my feelings about it drastically. However, she’s drank the Kool aid claims to be very happy there, but now that kids are in discussion, shes said that she will bring them up in that “church” which I am fiercely against, I do not want my kids subject to this. I am considering divorce at this point, it’s by far the hardest thing I have ever considered but I’m faced with the fact that I might need to… :(
They try to break up marriages between a believer and non believer on propose. Then they will try to marry her off to a south korean man, just as they marry off South Korean women to American men in the church. You will notice a lot of seasoned churchgoers have Korean wives. It's not a coincidence. I also hear from former members online that they push women to get abortions, though I cannot confirm this part. If you still love your wife, all good things are hard to get. I would recommend bringing her to truth through the bible, and go online to show her the internal conflicts of the church. How their Christ didn't believe in veils or a god the mother, how the god the mother was divorced, how their Christ actually had a wife and a mistress, and this God the mother is a mistress he had. Also ask her if she can confirm her tithe goes to a third party and is audited, which I highly doubt. I have suspicions of either embezzlement or purposeful distribution of funds to higher up members.
Tell her she can stay friends with them and it's ok to have feelings for her brothers and sisters there, but she cannot let her emotions cloud her judgement. So she needs to accept that the church isn't true, but she can still hang out with her church sisters. Then when she sees the sisters might end up totally rejecting her, she'll doubly confirm the church was false. I suspect that everyone knows it's bs deep down, at least I hope so, but that people like the social circle and sense of purpose and fellowship...So maybe find a good church that does fellowships, and she will end up just as happy. Tell her all of this, but not as a do as I tell you, but as a revealing of a revelation to her.
Actually same thing in my family but it's between me my mother... She is against the fact me taking my small brother to the church.... so we are finally in the CONCLUSION that we will let him decide when he is 18.until then no manipulation or anything let him research and find his own truth.
Thank God for the instances he gives me whenever there's a danger. I nearly got bathism today when I had such a bad feelings that something was not right after they took my picture with the 2 girls that introduced me to their church. I went to a Bible study once and I was basically told if I don't believe exactly what they're telling me that I'm going to hell. Everytime I had in depth questions it would come down to "do you want to go to hell?"

I joined this church like three years ago and left the same year. I asked the girl if God the mother can speak anything else other than Korean and the woman in the church said “that’s the devil putting those thoughts in my mind” and that’s why I left because they didn’t make sense. And the girl from the church texted me a couple of weeks ago to join their pass over. It’s like when you leave they don’t want to let you go and they want you back so THEY don’t feel crazy.

I actually experienced the same thing like u went thru. I been to the church for 3 years until I ask my Christian friend "do u know the 2nd coming Christ already came?" I'm really confused but I've stop going to that church for almost 3 years now but they are still calling me everynow and then . I stop going to this church when I start giving tight to the church. There is a month I didn't give my tight and they want to evaluate me bcoz I didn't give my tight for 1 month.
this church has affected my life a lot, my 15 birthday was spent alone isolated my mom didn’t get me a cake or present, didn’t even tell me happy birthday because my birthday was the same day as the passover for that church
I ran into a Korean guy at my college a few months ago. I told him I was a Christian and he started telling me about God the Mother and that Christ had returned in South Korea. I was so confused, please pray for him!

my cousin has been in this cult for years. She started during university and they eventually made her drop out to work for them. Some of them are beyond leaving.

I just had my first exposure to WMSCOG a couple of nights ago. I was at the grocery store and was approached by this young guy (he was in his 20's, which is young compared to me.) He invited me to come and check out his church. I quickly told him that I probably wouldn't make a very good member or visitor because I'm an atheist. But he continued to pitch his thing to try and get me to come to his church. (Of course I find out later when checking on their beliefs, that members are required to bring a certain number of people to the church to also become members.) Funny thing is, when I asked him where his church was, it turns out that used to go to that very church many years ago, back when I was a Christian. It was a Methodist church when I went there though. He started talking about how the second coming of Jesus/God, has already occurred and that He is living somewhere in some other country. Now he didn't mention anything about God the Mother. He did say that the anti-Christ has come and that it's modern Christianity. Basically all other denominations of Christianity other than their own, is influenced by the anti-Christ. It was pretty obvious at this point that he and his church are bat shit crazy. Granted, they're all crazy, but this was more on the level with Westboro Baptist or Scientology level crazy.
This church is currently recruiting heavily at my college. I did a ton of investigating privately as a student on them. Now they won’t leave me alone... follow me around campus and such and it’s getting creepy. I’m just trying to spread the word that they’re bad to other students right now because this is all hitting a boiling point. I started investigating them after I heard they were doing human trafficking and I’m still unsure if they are or not. Just... scary...
They've done the same to me. I think they're targetting young people. Even me as a 20-year-old guy, a student, they gave me the creeps, since I've met them last night after they gave their shares of beliefs. Then, they kept their distance away and they keep staring and observing me from afar. Fortunately, my dad notices them. Thank God, I was raised in a strong Christian-Beliefs family to not fall for these people.
yes we were told to not look on the internet bcz if we do we will die spiritually and bad things will happen to us. this made me so scared that i was even scared to type the name of the church in the search bar. one of the leader told me she tried to search about mother and something about her children was written on the internet she quickly turned it off and never looked again. she said she had anxiety for weeks bcz she ate from the tree of knowledge plus the info that she got about mother made her think about it for weeks and she became confused. she told after that she never looked on the internet. now that i am out of this church i can say that they put so much fear in you that anything you read on the internet haunts you. you think now something bad will happen , now god will kill me etc. the fear they put inside you becomes so toxic that you end up having anxiety.
No one should be made to feel as you sid. I'm sorry the leaders taught things that made you live in fear. The members seem to be abused. It has all the hallmarks of an abusive relationship.

I'm glad there's a new generation exposing. I told Ray and everyone else that came out years ago that non-disclosure agreements are not enforceable ifif they violate your constitutional rights and freedom of speech. I made a UA-cam video on it 9 years ago. if you are to enforce that it would be a constitutional violation and that was exactly the verdict. . It's been a long 10 years and I see people do these films and topics over and over again. it's pretty much a spinning of the wheels and it's too bad that all that information cannot come together into 1 Central hub so people don't have to keep doing this type of work over and over again. They try evangelizing at my university and I went into theology mode and apologetics mode and they banned me from their tent but it frustrates me how they are leading people astray.
I used to go to this church a few years ago and they made me go through a lot. Everything you said is absolutely true. I witnessed a lot of terrible things, and I am so happy I left that church. Someone invited me to visit their location but I don't think I will. The first red flag was learning that they acknowledge God the Mother. Now I understand Wisdom is referred to in a feminine tense but I would not go as far to say God the Mother. That is a dangerous, heretical path to take.
I live in Korea now and I got approached last week at my work place and they came another two times. My Korean is good but in an everyday life usage. On complicated conversations with this kind of vocabulary is difficult for me yet so the first time I was left with flyers to check then I was busy the second time and yesterday I told them very politely I searched your church but it doesn't fit my ideology and my beliefs and I am not interested then they went on to ask me questions and I was insulted saying that if I don't change my ways to theirs they implied I am not going to heaven. I said you are insulting me!!! No Christian should say that, the Bible says not to judge others yet that's all they do. And as I have studied some psychology and attended some seminars for sales , I can see they are using manipulative techniques, just as other people said as I searched them. They kept insisting and said they will bring someone that knows English to explain better!! I will tell them I will call the cops if they come again I've said no repeatedly trying to not be rude but it's enough , at this point it's harassment.
I was a formal member of this church. I’m not sure if any other members had to go through this, but i stop attending church for abit due to personal reasons and I got banned from going back until my faith was true to the church again.

Today was the first day of my spring semester. I was approached by a korean lady who started telling me about the heavenly goddess and used a quote from genesis saying "made in our image" and that our image meant both the heavenly father and mother. She told me they had an elohim bible study at my college. When I asked what time they're study group meets, she said it was appointment only. One on one. This sounded kind of weird to me. We exchanged numbers and I told her I was busy today, but maybe next week. As soon as she left i looked all of this up and started seeing that there where lots of news articles saying beware of the world mission society church of God. Hopefully I dont run into the lady again. Im glad this video was posted or i might have ended up going to meet with her.

Former member here, every thing you said is 100% fatcs. I was there at the church when they got the queens award, they 100% said that they are the only church to receive the queens award, they even put a big plaque right infront of the entrance showing off.
Thanku Jeremy for these facts. There's been 4 -5 instances of these people, young girls or ladies who stop me on the roads when I'm going to pick my son from school. Trying to convince me about this "mother". I told them, please go and preach to someone who is not a believer, I'm a Christian and I dont need the gospel. There are many non believers out there. But they say that they need only me. What should I reply to them when they approach me next time. I want an answer that can even make them think again.

Simply ask them why their founder, who they believe is god and 2nd coming christ, wrote a book denying the existence of god the mother... and ask why they believe in mother when she is divorced (quote the verse in the bible that states god hates divorce) they will leave you alone after that haha. If they deny the book, tell them to google "the "Problems With New Jerusalem, The Bride, and Women's Veils" since the wmscog does acknowledge the book (but dont make it available for members to read and most members dont know it even exists for obvious reasons)
@@anithaabraham9788 all members of the Church know that book the found had written. We all knew what really happened. They think that this past history is not being taught to us. We know everything and we are still here. I am starting to think Jeremy Burgos is not even a member. Usually, only new members doesn't know this yet.
Ron B members did not know about this book prior to 2013. And they only told us about it because someone leaked the existence of it online in English. And even then, the WMSCOG only shows like a few paragraphs from the entire book, no one in the WMSCOG is encouraged to read it. I highly encourage reading it in it’s entirety. Jeremy was 100% a member, anyone who listens to him talk in these videos knows that, no matter how much you try to discredit him. It only shows poor reflection on you and the WMSCOG when you question that.
@@kels729 i actually had conversation with few people who have left the church. the only pattern the i see in all of your behaviors is that you keep on talking about some events and some books. as a member who only believes the Bible, it is kind of weird for you guys to encourage us from leaving the church this way forgetting that the foundation of our faith is the bible teachings. the only thing that people who speak against us doesn't do is speaking against the 50 sermons and breaking it down, proving it wrong. i haven't seen anyone do that during my experience for more than a decade. i only keep on seeing that book, that verse, that divorce, and so on and so forth. i am not surprised though. because who can destroy a perfect truth? who can destroy this fortified fortress of Zion? you know what, we will keep on finding our brothers and sisters and soon establish 70,000 Zions. we reached our 7,000 branch goals, we are moving forward faster than ever.
A couple days ago, this missionary was asking if I believe in God, and I told him I’m a Christian, then he invited me to join the “Christian” group in college, to learn more about the Bible; I went to see how the group is, and I was the only one in the group?! So the missionary started talking about things like the sabbath and Christmas paganism, Passover festivals, and that’s actually correct, I was agreeing with it, but then in the end of the study he starts talking about the Korean Christ, at first I didn’t understand, since he said it was a Christian group and, as Christians we know there are thousands of self proclaimed “Christs” , he asked if I believed in it and I told him I was gonna do some research on it, and he immediately told me not to look on the internet, and I explained to him that my dad is a theology professor and I’d ask him about it, the man really told me not to believe in my dad and do what is right, to baptize. When I told him I was already baptized he said we need to get baptized twice. I felt bad that he truly believe on these things, he seems to be a good person, he truly believes he’s doing the right thing :(

Once when I disproved a couple who came to preach from Church of God, and about Korean Christ, when leaving they threatened me in my own home! How can they be good. They want you brother. Be careful. I am a Christian and knowing the core beliefs is important. How they stopped you from doing any research is a sign that they don't want you to know the truth. They will brainwash you if the get the chance in any way possible...

I know of people who were not uninformed who also were taken in by this group. Their victims are of all ages, intelligence, and background. One guy I know of was a protestant pastor's son. This group has a slick, prepared, presentation and method of manipulation. Anyone could be fooled. And terrified to leave once they are in it.
I was evangelized by a member of that church, teaching about God the Mother. The other people who were with me were baptized after some minutes of talk, aside from me. I have been to a lot of religions, I also worked in sales. The guy who preached to me sounded so charismatic but it gave me a feel I was talking to a salesperson, the way he built rapport and asked questions to open a conversation. When I said no to all of his encouragement to get baptized on that day, his veneer calm/charisma was broken. It seemed he was a salesperson who failed to close a sale.
They almost got me this week! I live in Mount Pocono PA , they lied to me about where they lived! And then told me they live 2 hours away and to meet at the church without them! And we never talked about a church initially! It was just supposed to be Bible study ! Woooowww.
I wish things weren’t so hostile between those who attend and those who don’t. I’m a former member and I left after high school when my dad was kicked out for questions because I realized I just wasn’t happy. I don’t have gripes with the group though, I do not see them as a cult nor do I see all of their teachings as bull. Personally the only thing that I never agreed with was non Bible related activity like the sinning for every activity that wasn’t prayer, seeking perfection but openly admitting you weren’t perfect which meant you were sinning, feeling like I wasn’t me anymore, just a pawn in the holy war. Finally I left because when you’re in the children’s group at this church we were often told how sinful we were for doing normal things like watching tv, playing games, listening to rap, or hanging out with friends. I was in marching band in high school and we had competitions on sabbath days so I missed a few due to those and was asked “So you’re really going to choose band over salvation”. The members there are my brothers and sisters I just felt that I didn’t belong there anymore. I hope all of this fighting and slandering from both sides can just end.

Weird! Because my step-kids are members of that church and my step-daughter swears, listen to rap, listen to Doja Cat and all sorts of music. And my step-son is a fan of gore like gears of war and GTA and still goes to services 😂 did their rules changed when y'all were members back then?

i'm glad you left them and at 15 going through that i bet that was tough and what's crazy I was speaking to someone from that church last saturday i was walking home from being in church out of state i dropped off the car and as i'm walking i see like four people in suits standing me i'm just trying to go home and as i'm walking one of the people in the suits was running to catch up to me i hear him from the side i ignored but then i turned around dude was like do you have a few minutes i said yeah and he started talking about god the mother using galatains 4:26 in my mind i'm like what did he say then i asked him what religion are you and he said no religion then he talked about the verse when it talks about god created men and women in his image to justify god the mother then he asked for my number for bible study and bible study is a good thing then before he left he said how the message should be preached and he asked how come you don't hear about god the mother i said because there's false prophets teaching nowadays we can't believe whatever is said his facial expression changed so fast then i got home did some research and i discovered that he was part of the world society mission church of god now i could see why he didn't mention the name and after that i realized it would be a waste of time doing bible study with him and his friends i haven't responded to any texts or his calls some people are stubborn and jesus always addressed god as father that's all we need to know and if i get called about bibile study with the person i will keep on ignoring him
A Korean woman knocked on my door, and I met with their pastor to discuss my belief of God and whether it fits in their doctrine. I was kind of shocked to learn that a woman claims to be God and is here on Earth already. The pastor didn't talk about WW3 with me and all, but WW3 could happen any day now with the Ukraine-Russia conflict going on now. So I don't think WW3 is far-fetch as per your video, or even the possibility we could be in revelations or something.
I was in the church in 2012. They were talking as if 2012 was the end of the world. Every time a war breaks out anywhere they claimed that it "could" be WW3. The always pitched that "Father is so close" as well

Edit: sorry this is so long haha A woman from this church tried to recruit me too! I was walking outside of my university (in England) where she was waiting outside and asked to show me a ‘presentation’ about god the mother, I’m quite a shy and awkward person so I said okay and spent about 5-10 listening to her go through this binder explaining these ideas. She was very kind and soft spoken and I ended up giving her my phone number after she persisted. However, she was very persistent on meeting me two days later at a specific time outside my uni building to take me to church, and told me to bring my friend when I used my friend as an excuse to say I was busy. I’m glad I researched the church now though, she still has my number but hasn’t contacted since the last time (a few days after we spoke, which is now 5 months ago). Although a few weeks later after that day, a few other people were outside my school again handing out leaflets and asking to give a presentation and they only let me go when I said I already spoke to their friend and give them her name. Ahhh I’m glad I never met that woman and went to church, I was close to going because I felt rude not going after she asked so much

I'm member of wmscog since 2017 and 2018 ,,,I always go to church every Saturday...to praise and worship..as it written in the bible the fourth commandments is to remember the sabbath and made it holy... All teaching is came from the bible..until 2018 I never go to church...because one who invite me ask me to sorry to about the false teachings of the church and one of the reason I never continue to go church every Saturday.....is there wrong about this Church????? It’s been around 10 years since I’ve left this church, I remember the teaching of Melchizedek and they told us he was a Buddhist. Thankfully my sister and dad left this church.. and during that year (2011) the members I grew up with in the church all started having doubts.. 1 by 1 members of the congregation I was apart of were walking away. (Jordan was on of the members I grew up with in the church). I thank God so many of us opened our eyes. It makes me sad to think of the members that stayed.. and all the new members that are still joining this church.

I talked to some members on the streets of Manchester England yesterday, I asked them some thought provoking questions/ideas. They reminded me of the conversations I've had with Jehovah's witnesses and how they too say they get everything from the bible and how they imply that they are gods only true followers

I don't know if anyone reads this but I was told and I qoute I need to be somewhere private and quite. I'm a college student who lives in maine and my cars heat barely works. Well I sat in my car for like idk 2 or 3 hours in probably 10° weather. I honestly only stay in the church cuz they know where I live but as soon as I graduate I am done. Quick side note they told my girlfriend who is suffering from depression who also can't drive cuz she has poor eyesight that she was gonna go to hell since she couldn't drive to church. Like wtf who says that to someone. But seriously don't tell them where u live or anything you will regret it I know I do. There are days where I'm in class and they come just to look for me to ask if I wanna do a bible study. And whenever u ask about anything they get all defensive and hurt. There not all horrible people but they do horrible things to any and al people that they indoctrinate not preach to but indoctrinate. This is coming from an 18 year old who has been told that I shouldn't see my girlfriend or my family cuz the church leader up here broke up with his girlfriend to follow "christ" and who doesn't talk to his family cuz they don't believe what he believes. It's all messed up. So just do yourself a favor and ignore them, no matter what they say.
Hi, can I ask why you and your girlfriend don’t just leave if you recognize all this issues with them? I know they know where you live, but they won’t harm you physically or anything. They have no right over you and your life. You can simply tell them that you have realized you don’t want to be a part of their church anymore and if they ask you can say you do not want to talk about why if that would feel more comfortable. Ask them not to call or come to your house. If they do come to your house, you can call the police and tell them you are being harassed by members of a cult group. Just some thoughts. I just don’t think you should feel like you have to stay in this church just because they know where you live.

HI I HAD SOMEWHAT SIMILAR SITUATION AS YOURS. i would suggest you to change your number and stop contacting them .. when someone from the church does not respond they usually visit them. so when they come to visit you respectfully return their books and belongings and hand them a note about why you don't want to come back without talking to them ( if its hard for you to do so , ask someone to do on your behalf ) just cutt off the ties. they try really hard to bring you back. its better not to listen to them. just cut off the ties

Unfortunately this has been going on for many years and obviously they have done quite a good job at hiding their true identity. Partly because they have only been overseas since 1996 and there wasn't anything on the internet about them in English back then. If you are on the Korean internet it would be a different story. There's tons of dirt on this group the problem is it's all in another language. I will also tell you this the WMS controls the entire Google search in regards to their own church.
Had my first encounter with recruiters from this church today. They only target young men and women, starting soft with passages from scripture that are easy to understand. After they see you nod your head enough they whip out the South Korean guy and “God the mother” and expect you to swallow that as well. I had enough at this point and told them I wanted to do my own research. They heavily discouraged me from searching the internet, and offered to meet with me in my home, which I denied. The recruiters were young men too, I pray they can see through this charade and get out.

These people were insisting that I become baptized first that then I will be able to understand the truth...heck no. Never. I've been baptized already under the name of Jesus. The apostle preached and the people opted to be converted. What do they get everytime someone they bring gets baptized? As of oct 26,2019 they are still claiming to be the only church to have won the award..when they told me this I said to myself " who cares about the queen awards?"

Then when I asked about that picture years later, they claim there was never such a picture used by their Church. Now I know that picture was probably photoshoped just like they fabricate their news articles
I was actually in this church for almost 4 years and through seeing videos testimonies of other people now i do get why they were the way they are so untrustworthy right now im going through therapy for all that they put me through specially losing my mom so tragically and all they did was tell me was its ok if you work hard she will be ok, not help in any way with my trauma but suppresed at the end of my journey with them i started to realize really they are a bunch of liars and this group now they made AZES is supposed to be a volunteer group of uni students but i knew them all from the east coast its like 10% are uni students majority dropped out of college which to me is ridiculous
My heart breaks for you. I’m so sorry. My husband lost his grandma and they said the same. Also he was discouraged to join funeral and missed it. Also I was told that even if my child dies I should keep working hard and not give up. My child is just a spiritual being and stop focusing on the physical. The leader kept telling members that so I’m assuming something happened somewhere with a parent and child. That’s usually what happens when they start emphasizing on something. It’s so sad. my grand pa was severely ill and i had to take him to the hospital but it was a sat( sabbath) , even though i attended the morning and afternoon worship i was told no you have to keep the evening worship as well ...i prayed that day '' i really want to keep the sabbath but i have to take my grand pa to hosp'' but they looked at me like i was someone of a lesser faith , in the end i decided to stay and told my grandpa i cannot take you today. members said ohhh you did a good job , dont feel bad. spiritually u did a good thing... to this day i feel terrible for what i did.
Ok, so I was approached by these two women at the mall. And we exchanged numbers after several months have passed they reached out again and i went to their church. The veil as they worship was different. The fact that men and women were separated was different too. They said it was for no distraction bc at the end of the day we have bad thoughts.. As a 22 year old I felt as if I wasn’t allowed to even look lol. They want me to ask questions so they can provide proof from the Bible. It’s hard for me to believe what they are saying. They mentioned how it’s not right to put our thoughts to interpret the Bible. But I asked you believe in the Holy Spirit correct and she said yes but you cannot have your own thought which confused me even more.

I was apart of this church up until a month ago I never fully believe it I was very skeptical of everything that was going on and I finally decided to leave.

i had a woman come up to me and my best friend yesterday and invite me to this. she was talking to us about “god the mother and god the father”. it was pretty confusing and weird but i knew immediately we were being invited to a cult because i had seen a video about it. i’m really glad that we weren’t tricked into it. also, i might post the video that i took when that woman was talking to me, so if your interested you can see if i posted it.
My fiancé is a member. I had to keep pestering him to find out more because for some reason he did not want to be fully transparent about it. We’ve been together for 2 years. I wish I knew what to say to plant seeds in his mind and make him think/question what he follows. One time his church was having an event and I asked to go but he said if I went, I would not be able to hang with him because the church frowns upon commingling and I would have to be with the sisters the entire time. He also said he never talks to sisters at the church because of this frowned upon commingling idea. Recently he gave me an ultimatum that if I didn’t join his religion, he did not want to be together anymore. He said he felt like he couldn’t give me time because the church consumed so much of his time and he was having guilt over this. He started crying when we were about to end as if he had no control over this decision. I asked him if the church ever tells him not to associate with people outside the church. But from this video, clearly that is something they teach. I told him I would never follow something I don’t fully believe in and he made the decision to stay in the relationship but now I don’t know if I want to. I’m torn. We are both step-parents so we have our children to consider also that will be affected by the breakup. I wish I knew more so I could plant seeds in him to get him thinking
Is he a new member? I’m sorry to hear about your situation, but all of what you stated does happen. Unfortunately they do teach that those who are not a part of the church are spiritually dead and don’t have the hope for salvation. If things are not the best right now, he’s only going to get more sucked in as he advances… and you need to think about your kids, if you want your kids having the anxiety and fear that the world is going to end at any moment. To be honest, they do teach those closest to you, Satan will use to stray you away from the church, especially if you don’t believe. I’m sorry to hear about what’s going on but you need to do what’s best for you and your kids. Sit down with him and talk about his beliefs and values. Watch the videos across great light to see other members testimonies and Jordan has done a great job breaking down their teachings in the staff of Moses series. That way you understand what they teach and how they affect people, and you can bring it up when the timing is right or ask him questions that may get him thinking for himself as opposed to the control thinking the wmscog does to people.
Thank you for being so informative! He’s been going to his church for around 6 years in now. I am pretty strong in my faith so a lot of the things he revealed to me about his faith later in our relationship, I just could not accept as a part of my belief. Of course, everyone's situation is different, but I joined the Church because it was an answer to my prayers & my faith has only grown stronger. Hello my name is princess project i too was attacked by the wmscog located in Colorado springs. I had them treat me so ungodly and then they turned around and pressed charges on me. I whole heatedly believe in God the mother and god the father, i believe that the wold is corrupt and some people revert back to behaviors of the world whether they go to church or not. They claimed that worship on a different day than Saturday is not acceptable to God. Like it's a sin to worship Jesus on a different day. Jesus wouldn't just want us to remember him once a year. We're supposed to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith. Also Jesus was the passover lamb. So the blood the doorpost was a sign of what Jesus himself was going to do when he came. Give his life as an offering for the sins of the world that whoever believe in him and call on his name will be saved. Communion is a tradition and a spiritual thing of remembering Jesus and remembering how we once were sinners and he died for us to give us mercy and change us and cleanse us. I came in a atheist and left an atheist. I only kept coming back bc my friends left for college and I had no one to hang out with except the members of the church who I became friends with and they had a lot of girls around my age I found attractive. Most importantly I got to enjoy amazing foods twice a week. Like AMAZING food. Thank god covid hit that’s how I made my way out but I appreciate the time spent with them when I had no one to hang out with

They're in Mexico City now, I got stopped at university and I agreed to go to a bible study once, they told me to baptize... One of the ways they achieve mind and time control is by using something called the staff of moses which is a piece of paper members get marked on. Its like school. It keeps track of how many people you preached to, number of services you attended, how many bible chapters you read, how many of Ahnsanghong's chapters you read and General pastor sermons you watched. That's probably why they keep contacting you because if they don't get you then their numbers go down. Which is not a good thing - they get marked down. If you didn't preach to a certain number of people or ultimately fail to bring in people to be baptised they will start questioning you. Essentially things members do outside of this church ( despite the church meetings taking up most of their time already) is controlled with this staff of moses on a weekly. I later learned that all these interpretations were just opinions that had no real biblical evidence. On the issue of baptism - I don't see it as better safe then sorry since the bible already told us that there are those who will have the name of the beast on their foreheads. Years ago at a Walmart I was approached by these guys. We debated. They were passionate in this mother god concept, even backed it up with a few bible verses. This church is totally anti christ. 3members of this church came to my home and started talking about passover quoting the old testament verse. And trying to puzzle me
This church and it’s followers always gave me a weird vibe. They seemed like robots with no emotion. My girlfriend joined and when she did it created this gap between us and our kids. She felt stressed and pressured to follow the word of god and mother. By the grace of god she realized that this church was up to no good. Careful they blind you with kindness

Unfortunately one of my friends joined this church and encouraged me to come to her church after bible study. I went to her church and argued with a deaconess about the false equivalencies she was making, and once she said that the holocaust was prophesied in the bible and somehow proved that Ahnsahnghong was the angel from the east from revelations, I knew it was complete baloney. Additionally she said that I could only understand the true teachings of the bible if I was baptized first. I felt pressured to be baptized on that first meeting by all the members and it just showed me how insidious this church's tactics are. They don't tell you the truth about their doctrine and deny the fact that they are interpreting the Bible at all. They always strip their verses of their context, and when I called out, saying they were just playing a game of Bible hopscotch, all they could tell me was that only the bible can interpret the bible. I was not fooled by their deception and I pray that my friend will soon see their fallacious teachings.

They just came to my door in Auckland, New Zealand. Two lovely ladies who sat and talked with me about the bible. As soon as I expressed interest, they rang their 'overseer' to come baptise me in my house. This Korean man who appeared within 10mins (very weird) walked right in and made himself comfortable in my home before even introducing himself to me. Pulled out paper work to 'register' me into the 'Book of Life', got the bucket ready for baptism. I said why do I need to register with paper work? Made me feel very uneasy and although some rang true with me, I am very thankful the Holy Spirit guided me to ask them to leave.
Similar has happened to me but it was my Older sister who was baptized into the church. She called me one day (she was drunk) and told me that they believe Jesus has come for a second time) that alone made me feel real uneasy. Months go by and they come by my house and teach me certain things which I actual found a big interest because I don't know much about the bible. It wasn't until they invited me to their church home and had bible study and the Pastor walked in aswell felt very very pressured to get baptized even when I knew very little about their faith. Decided to do my own research and felt very uneasy about them not teaching me valuable things that they should of told me (because they couldn't share anymore until I was baptized) im actually happy my sister told me about them believing the second coming has already happened because it made me want to find out the truth. Everything with that church or cult seems very secretive and very sly in the way that they move. I'm glad I was led back to Jesus Christ and his truths. We really do have to do our own research. Was walking around NYC and was approached by two WMSCOG members. My naïve ass was raised fundamentalist and I thought I could have some fun 'winning' because I knew the Bible forwards and backwards. Minutes later they had me in a private room basically interrogating me and beautiful-minding how Jesus was the Mother on whiteboard and page-flipping so much it made my head spin. The whiteboard looked like a spiderweb and I kept trying to ask them direct questions which they would never answer except with canned answers. Couldn't get them to go off script and around the 1 hour mark I was feeling really uncomfortable and basically had to barge my way out the door and give them the hand in order to leave. Scary experience and taught me a lot about playing around with cults. These people were nice at first, but the general vibe was way off in the room and I felt kind of bullied and like they were trying to program me rather than talk to me.
I had a guy that started confusing me and sad to say for a bit I actually was buying what he was telling me. They take scripture completely out of context to fit their narrative that Jesus already came back and that they are Zion meaning the true church of God. That we have God the mother as well. The scary part is they show you in scripture. They literally just flip back and forth through text taking everything out of context. They don’t read passages. Just verses. Then flip to another verse. This was when I was a new believer. I was still in that milk stage. The guy told me if I didn’t keep the Passover I wasn’t saved. Recently He reached out to me again telling me I had to keep the Passover. This time was different because I grew in my relationship to the Lord. I told him why he was wrong and showing him with scripture. Unfortunately he is blinded. Along with most of the people in that “church”. They believe they are the one true church and everyone practicing anything else isn’t saved. I was like buddy you cannot tell me I’m not saved. God gave me his Holy Spirit

I was a member for 8 months after my mom passed. I was hoodwinked because I was grieving......but Jesus, the true king saved me and my children by opening our eyes to the deception of these false teachers. But I am free today because of the grace and mercy of Jesus. He is the living word and you cannot twist him!!!!! My wife joined this organization a couple years into our marriage to say I was against it would be understating my feelings about it drastically. However, she’s drank the Kool aid claims to be very happy there, but now that kids are in discussion, shes said that she will bring them up in that “church” which I am fiercely against, I do not want my kids subject to this. I am considering divorce at this point, it’s by far the hardest thing I have ever considered but I’m faced with the fact that I might need to… :(

They try to break up marriages between a believer and non believer on propose. Then they will try to marry her off to a south korean man, just as they marry off South Korean women to American men in the church. You will notice a lot of seasoned churchgoers have Korean wives. It's not a coincidence. I also hear from former members online that they push women to get abortions, though I cannot confirm this part.
If you still love your wife, all good things are hard to get. I would recommend bringing her to truth through the bible, and go online to show her the internal conflicts of the church. How their Christ didn't believe in veils or a god the mother, how the god the mother was divorced, how their Christ actually had a wife and a mistress, and this God the mother is a mistress he had. Also ask her if she can confirm her tithe goes to a third party and is audited, which I highly doubt. I have suspicions of either embezzlement or purposeful distribution of funds to higher up members.
Tell her she can stay friends with them and it's ok to have feelings for her brothers and sisters there, but she cannot let her emotions cloud her judgement.
So she needs to accept that the church isn't true, but she can still hang out with her church sisters. Then when she sees the sisters might end up totally rejecting her, she'll doubly confirm the church was false. I suspect that everyone knows it's bs deep down, at least I hope so, but that people like the social circle and sense of purpose and fellowship...So maybe find a good church that does fellowships, and she will end up just as happy. Tell her all of this, but not as a do as I tell you, but as a revealing of a revelation to her.
Actually same thing in my family but it's between me my mother... She is against the fact me taking my small brother to the church.... so we are finally in the CONCLUSION that we will let him decide when he is 18.until then no manipulation or anything let him research and find his own truth.

I joined this church like three years ago and left the same year. I just had my first exposure to WMSCOG a couple of nights ago. I was at the grocery store and was approached by this young guy (he was in his 20's, which is young compared to me.) He invited me to come and check out his church. I quickly told him that I probably wouldn't make a very good member or visitor because I'm an atheist. But he continued to pitch his thing to try and get me to come to his church. (Of course I find out later when checking on their beliefs, that members are required to bring a certain number of people to the church to also become members.) Funny thing is, when I asked him where his church was, it turns out that used to go to that very church many years ago, back when I was a Christian. It was a Methodist church when I went there though. He started talking about how the second coming of Jesus/God, has already occurred and that He is living somewhere in some other country. Now he didn't mention anything about God the Mother. He did say that the anti-Christ has come and that it's modern Christianity. Basically all other denominations of Christianity other than their own, is influenced by the anti-Christ. It was pretty obvious at this point that he and his church are bat shit crazy. Granted, they're all crazy, but this was more on the level with Westboro Baptist or Scientology level crazy.
If everything they believe they can show you verse by verse..then this is bast Scientology level..this is Matrix level

This church is currently recruiting heavily at my college. I did a ton of investigating privately as a student on them. Now they won’t leave me alone... follow me around campus and such and it’s getting creepy. I’m just trying to spread the word that they’re bad to other students right now because this is all hitting a boiling point. yes we were told to not look on the internet bcz if we do we will die spiritually and bad things will happen to us. this made me so scared that i was even scared to type the name of the church in the search bar. one of the leader told me she tried to search about mother and something about her children was written on the internet she quickly turned it off and never looked again. she said she had anxiety for weeks bcz she ate from the tree of knowledge plus the info that she got about mother made her think about it for weeks and she became confused. she told after that she never looked on the internet.
now that i am out of this church i can say that they put so much fear in you that anything you read on the internet haunts you. you think now something bad will happen , now god will kill me etc. the fear they put inside you becomes so toxic that you end up having anxiety.

I'm glad there's a new generation exposing. I told Ray and everyone else that came out years ago that non-disclosure agreements are not enforceable ifif they violate your constitutional rights and freedom of speech. Someone invited me to visit their location but I don't think I will. The first red flag was learning that they acknowledge God the Mother. Now I understand Wisdom is referred to in a feminine tense but I would not go as far to say God the Mother. That is a dangerous, heretical path to take.
Make sure you stay off of the christmas, sunday, easter path too..those are long proven heretical but churches still hold on to them for dear life.
I live in Korea now and I got approached last week at my work place and they came another two times. My Korean is good but in an everyday life usage. On complicated conversations with this kind of vocabulary is difficult for me yet so the first time I was left with flyers to check then I was busy the second time and yesterday I told them very politely I searched your church but it doesn't fit my ideology and my beliefs and I am not interested then they went on to ask me questions and I was insulted saying that if I don't change my ways to theirs they implied I am not going to heaven. I said you are insulting me!!! No Christian should say that, the Bible says not to judge others yet that's all they do. And as I have studied some psychology and attended some seminars for sales , I can see they are using manipulative techniques, just as other people said as I searched them. They kept insisting and said they will bring someone that knows English to explain better!! I will tell them I will call the cops if they come again I've said no repeatedly trying to not be rude but it's enough , at this point it's harassment.
I was a formal member of this church. I’m not sure if any other members had to go through this, but i stop attending church for abit due to personal reasons and I got banned from going back until my faith was true to the church again.

Today was the first day of my spring semester. I was approached by a korean lady who started telling me about the heavenly goddess and used a quote from genesis saying "made in our image" and that our image meant both the heavenly father and mother. She told me they had an elohim bible study at my college. When I asked what time they're study group meets, she said it was appointment only. One on one. This sounded kind of weird to me. We exchanged numbers and I told her I was busy today, but maybe next week. As soon as she left i looked all of this up and started seeing that there where lots of news articles saying beware of the world mission society church of God. Hopefully I dont run into the lady again. Im glad this video was posted or i might have ended up going to meet with her.

Former member here, every thing you said is 100% fatcs. I was there at the church when they got the queens award, they 100% said that they are the only church to receive the queens award, they even put a big plaque right infront of the entrance showing off.

Thanku Jeremy for these facts. There's been 4 -5 instances of these people, young girls or ladies who stop me on the roads when I'm going to pick my son from school. Trying to convince me about this "mother".
I told them, please go and preach to someone who is not a believer, I'm a Christian and I dont need the gospel. There are many non believers out there. But they say that they need only me. What should I reply to them when they approach me next time. I want an answer that can even make them think again.

Simply ask them why their founder, who they believe is god and 2nd coming christ, wrote a book denying the existence of god the mother... and ask why they believe in mother when she is divorced (quote the verse in the bible that states god hates divorce) they will leave you alone after that haha.
If they deny the book, tell them to google "the "Problems With New Jerusalem, The Bride, and Women's Veils" since the wmscog does acknowledge the book (but dont make it available for members to read and most members dont know it even exists for obvious reasons)

We know everything and we are still here. I am starting to think Jeremy Burgos is not even a member. Usually, only new members doesn't know this yet.
Ron B members did not know about this book prior to 2013. And they only told us about it because someone leaked the existence of it online in English. And even then, the WMSCOG only shows like a few paragraphs from the entire book, no one in the WMSCOG is encouraged to read it. I highly encourage reading it in it’s entirety. Jeremy was 100% a member, anyone who listens to him talk in these videos knows that, no matter how much you try to discredit him. It only shows poor reflection on you and the WMSCOG when you question that.
@@kels729 i actually had conversation with few people who have left the church. the only pattern the i see in all of your behaviors is that you keep on talking about some events and some books. as a member who only believes the Bible, it is kind of weird for you guys to encourage us from leaving the church this way forgetting that the foundation of our faith is the bible teachings. the only thing that people who speak against us doesn't do is speaking against the 50 sermons and breaking it down, proving it wrong. i haven't seen anyone do that during my experience for more than a decade. i only keep on seeing that book, that verse, that divorce, and so on and so forth. i am not surprised though. because who can destroy a perfect truth? who can destroy this fortified fortress of Zion? you know what, we will keep on finding our brothers and sisters and soon establish 70,000 Zions. we reached our 7,000 branch goals, we are moving forward faster than ever.
A couple days ago, this missionary was asking if I believe in God, and I told him I’m a Christian, then he invited me to join the “Christian” group in college, to learn more about the Bible; I went to see how the group is, and I was the only one in the group?! So the missionary started talking about things like the sabbath and Christmas paganism, Passover festivals, and that’s actually correct, I was agreeing with it, but then in the end of the study he starts talking about the Korean Christ, at first I didn’t understand, since he said it was a Christian group and, as Christians we know there are thousands of self proclaimed “Christs” , he asked if I believed in it and I told him I was gonna do some research on it, and he immediately told me not to look on the internet, and I explained to him that my dad is a theology professor and I’d ask him about it, the man really told me not to believe in my dad and do what is right, to baptize. When I told him I was already baptized he said we need to get baptized twice. I felt bad that he truly believe on these things, he seems to be a good person, he truly believes he’s doing the right thing :(

I know of people who were not uninformed who also were taken in by this group. Their victims are of all ages, intelligence, and background. One guy I know of was a protestant pastor's son. This group has a slick, prepared, presentation and method of manipulation. Anyone could be fooled. And terrified to leave once they are in it.

I was evangelized by a member of that church, teaching about God the Mother. The other people who were with me were baptized after some minutes of talk, aside from me. I have been to a lot of religions, I also worked in sales. The guy who preached to me sounded so charismatic but it gave me a feel I was talking to a salesperson, the way he built rapport and asked questions to open a conversation.
When I said no to all of his encouragement to get baptized on that day, his veneer calm/charisma was broken. It seemed he was a salesperson who failed to close a sale.

They almost got me this week! I live in Mount Pocono PA , they lied to me about where they lived! And then told me they live 2 hours away and to meet at the church without them! And we never talked about a church initially! It was just supposed to be Bible study ! Woooowww.
I wish things weren’t so hostile between those who attend and those who don’t. I’m a former member and I left after high school when my dad was kicked out for questions because I realized I just wasn’t happy. I don’t have gripes with the group though, I do not see them as a cult nor do I see all of their teachings as bull. Personally the only thing that I never agreed with was non Bible related activity like the sinning for every activity that wasn’t prayer, seeking perfection but openly admitting you weren’t perfect which meant you were sinning, feeling like I wasn’t me anymore, just a pawn in the holy war. Finally I left because when you’re in the children’s group at this church we were often told how sinful we were for doing normal things like watching tv, playing games, listening to rap, or hanging out with friends. I was in marching band in high school and we had competitions on sabbath days so I missed a few due to those and was asked “So you’re really going to choose band over salvation”. The members there are my brothers and sisters I just felt that I didn’t belong there anymore. I hope all of this fighting and slandering from both sides can just end.

A Korean woman knocked on my door, and I met with their pastor to discuss my belief of God and whether it fits in their doctrine. I was kind of shocked to learn that a woman claims to be God and is here on Earth already. The pastor didn't talk about WW3 with me and all, but WW3 could happen any day now with the Ukraine-Russia conflict going on now. So I don't think WW3 is far-fetch as per your video, or even the possibility we could be in revelations or something.
I was in the church in 2012. They were talking as if 2012 was the end of the world. Every time a war breaks out anywhere they claimed that it "could" be WW3. The always pitched that "Father is so close" as well

A woman from this church tried to recruit me too! I was walking outside of my university (in England) where she was waiting outside and asked to show me a ‘presentation’ about god the mother, I’m quite a shy and awkward person so I said okay and spent about 5-10 listening to her go through this binder explaining these ideas. She was very kind and soft spoken and I ended up giving her my phone number after she persisted. However, she was very persistent on meeting me two days later at a specific time outside my uni building to take me to church, and told me to bring my friend when I used my friend as an excuse to say I was busy. I’m glad I researched the church now though, she still has my number but hasn’t contacted since the last time (a few days after we spoke, which is now 5 months ago).
Although a few weeks later after that day, a few other people were outside my school again handing out leaflets and asking to give a presentation and they only let me go when I said I already spoke to their friend and give them her name.

It’s been around 10 years since I’ve left this church, I remember the teaching of Melchizedek and they told us he was a Buddhist. Thankfully my sister and dad left this church.. and during that year (2011) the members I grew up with in the church all started having doubts.. 1 by 1 members of the congregation I was apart of were walking away. (Jordan was on of the members I grew up with in the church). I thank God so many of us opened our eyes. It makes me sad to think of the members that stayed.. and all the new members that are still joining this church.

I talked to some members on the streets of Manchester England yesterday, I asked them some thought provoking questions/ideas. They reminded me of the conversations I've had with Jehovah's witnesses and how they too say they get everything from the bible and how they imply that they are gods only true followers

@@justmadeit2 way too long. I started asking questions, because for a while I just got tired from people smiling in my face and laughing behind my back. I was in college when they got me. I was never a leader but I pretty much lived there daily.
I don't know if anyone reads this but I was told and I qoute I need to be somewhere private and quite. I'm a college student who lives in maine and my cars heat barely works. Well I sat in my car for like idk 2 or 3 hours in probably 10° weather. I honestly only stay in the church cuz they know where I live but as soon as I graduate I am done.
Quick side note they told my girlfriend who is suffering from depression who also can't drive cuz she has poor eyesight that she was gonna go to hell since she couldn't drive to church. Like wtf who says that to someone. But seriously don't tell them where u live or anything you will regret it I know I do. There are days where I'm in class and they come just to look for me to ask if I wanna do a bible study. And whenever u ask about anything they get all defensive and hurt. There not all horrible people but they do horrible things to any and al people that they indoctrinate not preach to but indoctrinate. This is coming from an 18 year old who has been told that I shouldn't see my girlfriend or my family cuz the church leader up here broke up with his girlfriend to follow "christ" and who doesn't talk to his family cuz they don't believe what he believes. It's all messed up. So just do yourself a favor and ignore them, no matter what they say.
Hi, can I ask why you and your girlfriend don’t just leave if you recognize all this issues with them? I know they know where you live, but they won’t harm you physically or anything. They have no right over you and your life. You can simply tell them that you have realized you don’t want to be a part of their church anymore and if they ask you can say you do not want to talk about why if that would feel more comfortable. Ask them not to call or come to your house.
If they do come to your house, you can call the police and tell them you are being harassed by members of a cult group.
Just some thoughts. I just don’t think you should feel like you have to stay in this church just because they know where you live.

Had my first encounter with recruiters from this church today. They only target young men and women, starting soft with passages from scripture that are easy to understand. After they see you nod your head enough they whip out the South Korean guy and “God the mother” and expect you to swallow that as well. I had enough at this point and told them I wanted to do my own research.
They heavily discouraged me from searching the internet, and offered to meet with me in my home, which I denied. The recruiters were young men too, I pray they can see through this charade and get out.

My fiancé is a member. I had to keep pestering him to find out more because for some reason he did not want to be fully transparent about it. We’ve been together for 2 years. I wish I knew what to say to plant seeds in his mind and make him think/question what he follows. One time his church was having an event and I asked to go but he said if I went, I would not be able to hang with him because the church frowns upon commingling and I would have to be with the sisters the entire time. He also said he never talks to sisters at the church because of this frowned upon commingling idea. Recently he gave me an ultimatum that if I didn’t join his religion, he did not want to be together anymore. He said he felt like he couldn’t give me time because the church consumed so much of his time and he was having guilt over this. He started crying when we were about to end as if he had no control over this decision. I asked him if the church ever tells him not to associate with people outside the church. But from this video, clearly that is something they teach. I told him I would never follow something I don’t fully believe in and he made the decision to stay in the relationship but now I don’t know if I want to. I’m torn. We are both step-parents so we have our children to consider also that will be affected by the breakup. I wish I knew more so I could plant seeds in him to get him thinking

Unfortunately they do teach that those who are not a part of the church are spiritually dead and don’t have the hope for salvation. If things are not the best right now, he’s only going to get more sucked in as he advances… and you need to think about your kids, if you want your kids having the anxiety and fear that the world is going to end at any moment. To be honest, they do teach those closest to you, Satan will use to stray you away from the church, especially if you don’t believe. I’m sorry to hear about what’s going on but you need to do what’s best for you and your kids. Sit down with him and talk about his beliefs and values. Watch the videos across great light to see other members testimonies and Jordan has done a great job breaking down their teachings in the staff of Moses series. That way you understand what they teach and how they affect people, and you can bring it up when the timing is right or ask him questions that may get him thinking for himself as opposed to the control thinking the wmscog does to people.
Thank you for being so informative! He’s been going to his church for around 6 years in now. I am pretty strong in my faith so a lot of the things he revealed to me about his faith later in our relationship, I just could not accept as a part of my belief. Wow... I didn't know about that big list of 'sins'. It's like they are really trying to keep being under guilt and walking on egg shells their whole lives. What ever happened to consider yourself dead to sin from Romans. Ephesians: you once were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. I talked to some of them today. They claimed that worship on a different day than Saturday is not acceptable to God. Like it's a sin to worship Jesus on a different day. (Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man not man for the Sabbath. Also read Romans about people regarding certain days as special and other not regarding them as special.) They also claimed that Jesus said to keep the passover on a certain day. He actually never said that, he told his disciples 1 Corinthians 11:25 "In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.""
-Whenever you drink it. Jesus wouldn't just want us to remember him once a year. We're supposed to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith. Also Jesus was the passover lamb. So the blood the doorpost was a sign of what Jesus himself was going to do when he came. Give his life as an offering for the sins of the world that whoever believe in him and call on his name will be saved. Communion is a tradition and a spiritual thing of remembering Jesus and remembering how we once were sinners and he died for us to give us mercy and change us and cleanse us. He is the passover lamb!

You are supposed to worship all the time, it says that in the Bible, but just like people celebrate Christmas and Halloween on specific dates, the church celebrates Passover and keeps Sabbath as they are special. I came in a atheist and left an atheist. I only kept coming back bc my friends left for college and I had no one to hang out with except the members of the church who I became friends with and they had a lot of girls around my age I found attractive. Most importantly I got to enjoy amazing foods twice a week. Like AMAZING food. Thank god covid hit that’s how I made my way out but I appreciate the time spent with them when I had no one to hang out with

They're in Mexico City now, I got stopped at university and I agreed to go to a bible study once, they told me to baptize... They showed me a video of their society and I was soooo scared hahaha I was like "Why do they cry while hugging that woman?" and it was just creepy af. One of the ways they achieve mind and time control is by using something called the staff of moses which is a piece of paper members get marked on. Its like school. It keeps track of how many people you preached to, number of services you attended, how many bible chapters you read, how many of Ahnsanghong's chapters you read and General pastor sermons you watched.
That's probably why they keep contacting you because if they don't get you then their numbers go down. Which is not a good thing - they get marked down.
If you didn't preach to a certain number of people or ultimately fail to bring in people to be baptised they will start questioning you.

@@NicoleReign Not really, when I was there I read carefully selected passages which already had interpretations I had to take as given. I later learned that all these interpretations were just opinions that had no real biblical evidence.
On the issue of baptism - I don't see it as better safe then sorry since the bible already told us that there are those who will have the name of the beast on their foreheads. So nothing is just safe then sorry. Its Better to confirm, be informed and avoid falsehood. Blasphemy is something serious in the bible especially when it comes to the Holy Spirit.

I was reading his professional bio on the internet and compared this on how crappy he treated me, I was like wow, this guy shows perfect outward humility. Only showing humbleness to people he deemed worthy. Also, I was not the one who told him to talk to begin with. I was talking to someone else when he just went in and started talking to me. I tried to ignore and stop him from engaging on a conversation with him but he keeps on provoking me, wanting me to submit to him. Years ago at a Walmart I was approached by these guys. We debated. They were passionate in this mother god concept, even backed it up with a few bible verses. All you need is Jesus, holy spirit, and God. They talked about the end of the world. Invited me to their Bible study. Wonder if they are still stuck in that mindset. 🤔

Unfortunately one of my friends joined this church and encouraged me to come to her church after bible study. I went to her church and argued with a deaconess about the false equivalencies she was making, and once she said that the holocaust was prophesied in the bible and somehow proved that Ahnsahnghong was the angel from the east from revelations, I knew it was complete baloney. Additionally she said that I could only understand the true teachings of the bible if I was baptized first. I felt pressured to be baptized on that first meeting by all the members and it just showed me how insidious this church's tactics are. They don't tell you the truth about their doctrine and deny the fact that they are interpreting the Bible at all. They always strip their verses of their context, and when I called out, saying they were just playing a game of Bible hopscotch, all they could tell me was that only the bible can interpret the bible. I was not fooled by their deception and I pray that my friend will soon see their fallacious teachings.
