Wow!!! Don't think there are words in this world to say how beautiful this is. I hope you ask Johanna Basford to watch this, she'll be enchanted at how you have given life to her world. I don't think anyone could have done this better. 5 years but every second of that worth it when you see the whole book. Truly stunning beyond words and imagination.

Thank you Janis, this is a very kind comment. Unfortunately my grandmother passed away a few months after this. I miss her every day, but I’m so glad I got to give this to her before she passed. Nice memories to keep ☺️

You did something I have never done. You completed a coloring book. It is wonderful. My coloring is all over the place and I came here mainly for new ideas. Just received my third Enchanted Forest. This is the Artist's Edition so I really wanted some frame able work. Good job. Lots of ideas.

@@TheColourCave Inbetween 3.24 and 3.27 I have double page with a rabbit hole of maze like tunnels leading to a lantern lit Warren. Maybe you turned two pages together?

Such a beautiful job you did! I am intent on finishing my copy of Enchanted Forest this year, and most likely next year as well. It was the first coloring book by a well-known artist I purchased when I first started coloring in adult coloring books. That was around 2016-2017.

How beautiful. You should be so proud that you finished it. I loved that you gave it back to your Grandmother. What a great story. You learned to shade pretty early. Had you been a tole painter before? That’s how I began and your shading and leaves looked similar in their lay out. Again. A beautiful treasure. Thanks for sharing. 😊
Hi Linda, thank you for the comment! Other than doodling as a child, I'd never done anything before this book. I'm so glad I got the chance to give this back to my Gran. I gave it to her for Christmas and she passed away from old age the following May. I like to think she held off just so she could enjoy the book :)

I use Winsor and Newton galeria acrylic paint. Works a treat!
Gem help!!!! Which soft pastel pencil would better; Koh-I-Noor
Stabilo Carbothello or
Derwent?????
You will find depending upon the surface and experience of the person asked you will get a different answer. I think Gem will answer Derwent! She likes the brand. I would answer Koh I noor or carbothello as I have both of those pastels. Try a couple from any set you might like and decide for your self!

The Derwent pastel pencils are horrible - dry and a nightmare to sharpen. I’d go Stabilio personally. I haven’t tried the Koh-I-noor ones.

Yes, absolutely, as long as you keep the water fairly conservative - no washes or anything crazy!

I use three brands in this book - the early colourings were with Crayola , then WH Smith pencils (A U.K. brand) then the later ones were all Prismacolor Premier. Hope this helps!

Hello! I'm not sure I understand - do you mean where do you find the 9 symbols for the 'door' page? They are hidden in all the pictures throughout the book - you just have to look hard for them :)
