That pump was running for a long time with many air bubbles in the input feed line, leading to bad aeration and cavitation and so erosion of the blades in the centrifugal impeller.
* At 2:59, that is not the extractor/ puller one uses to pull off the impeller, as it will distort and warp it if it was going to go back into the pump. Those two holes in the impeller are meant to screw two pulling bolts in them and pull on them and push on the shaft. Those two holes are closer to the centre and they will pull the impeller from more solid location without distorting it.
* At 8:31 the gap between the impeller and the body of the pump between the input and output separator is too wide, and there will be a cross over loss from the high pressure to the low pressure side rendering the pump inefficient and will lose the head. There should be no gap there for maximum efficiency.
At 7:38 the impeller should not be hammered in, as that is too tight, I prefer it to be not tight and the impeller will settle in on the running surfaces on both sides when the last enclosure of the impeller is placed in position..
* At 9:41, that two pin plug should have been cleaned for a better contact. A squirrel cage induction motor takes a starting current of about 3 to 4 times the running current.

Yr video is good and in detail. My 1hp crompton motor pressure is low now since one week. Two yrs back purchased. Servicing done now and seal, capasitor, impeller changed one by one but no pressure improvement. Even mechanic do not understand why is happening like this. No more parts left to change. No leakage & air gap. Can u suggest me on this. This is a mysterious problem and its a challenge to get answer. Awaiting for yr reply.

While purchasing new one all dimensions of impeller should identical otherwise it creates problem. Many time for new person difficult to get correct substitute. Shop keeper is generally not replace if some difference is there and for customer no use . Mechanic they can use somewhere to other customer.

3 साल पहले मैंने इंपैलर निकालने की कोशिश की थी लेकिन मेरे पास पुल्लर नहीं था तो इस वजह से मेरा इंपैलर भी खराब हो गया था क्या इसे निकालने का कोई देसी जुगाड़ भी है तो कृपया आप बताएं जिससे इमरजेंसी में इंपैलर को बिना पुल्लर के निकाल सकें।
