When Jesus returns He will be looking for those that are washed in His blood and faithfully living righteous lives according to His Word. Cover your son in the blood of JESUS. Pray for him & his future. That he would grow up into a mighty man of GOD. Get a good child's Bible and read him Bible stories and talk about it with him. And pray with him too.. Even if he's little. I did this with my son. When he was 2 I got a children's bible with pictures and would read it to him and he connected with what i read to the pictures. I also had gotten the prayer of Jabez for little ones book for him.. that was his favorite book for yrs.. he memorized that scripture "oh that you would bless me indeed and enlarge my territory, that your hand would be with me, & that you would keep me from evil... So God granted him what he requested." 1 chronicles 4:10, it was his favorite & he had a heart for GOD even at 2. The younger you teach your child the more pure their connection to GOD is. My son is almost 22 yrs old now, has it always been easy... no.. but I do know that he is a child of the MOST HIGH GOD. & he is being shaped & molded by the LORD in a mighty way. And I know that the good work GOD started in him GOD will see it to completion.
Ultimately, they are GOD'S children & HE entrusted us to care for them. God bless you and your son.

Well, full disclosure, I'm not particularly fond of James White, but I see what you mean. I think it's a deeper issue that should be addressed more succinctly and clearly. If someone doesn't believe anyway those words of his and anyone else's are moot. Believers really should try to focus their words of wisdom, guidance, encouragement, etc. for believers who are being lead astray and genuinely don't know any better.
I'm thinking you maybe don't recognize that believers lives are either given to Christ in full and that includes how they vote, or not at all. There is no middle ground.

Hey I don’t know if you have heard of Lecrae actually talk about why he’s says that. But he explains that where he came from whenever he talked about “Christian music”, “Christian this or that” people would be like “nah that’s lame” and not give it a chance. So he calls him self a rapper so people will give his music a chance and listen to his Christian message.
I've honestly had a bad witness about Lecrae ever since he released his Gravity album. It breaks my heart to see how much he's swayed...his older stuff was so explicitly about the Lord. So much for being "unashamed."

Yes, I agree. My daughter who is a Christian, took her 11 yr old son to see him in concert for his first concert. The venue was serving alcoholic beverages. Many other Christians had younger children there as well. There were many drunk people causing problems. The bible says you cannot serve two masters!
