C'mon can someone explain how you can get an advantage practicing on a particular flat pavement?
Do you really have to go to Boston to train on the same roads?
It helps! Knowing the course…being prepared for the curve of the roads. Knowing the subtle nuances of the course can prepare you mentally. There’s a reason why it’s considered one of the hardest marathon courses! A lot at the Boston marathon route it’s a mental challenge. She isn’t the first Marathon competitor to train on the route.

Don't they have markers every half mile and maps before every corner with people advising the front runners how to handle it..
